    Default Best Fat-Blasting Workouts

    Hey I was just wondering if anyone has a die-hard fitness trick that really does it for them... diet tricks too!

    For me, I just bought an ab-swing and I love it (I have a hard time really working my abs till they're sore so it works faster than crunches), but I dont have any great cardio/fat burning tricks.

    Honestly your best bet is to go outside and run. It's free and it works even on cellulite. Even walking for 20 minutes a day burns some calories.
    If you like it try riding a bike. It really works your legs.
    My favorite machine is an elliptical machine.
    Tae bo cardio is good too.
    Swimming if the weather is nice.

    if you are with a gym, the spinning classes are great.

    for fat loss, the best bet is to engage in serious, high intensity workouts for an hour 5-7 days a week.

    for best results add intervals in the high intensity workouts....in english this is to vary the intensity during a workout- example, running at a brisk pace for 3 blocks and sprinting as fast as you can for 2, repeat, repeat, repeat.

    No need for an hour because your maximum fat burning is done 20mins in to a work out.... also interval training is very intense and an hour would be too much because you willl end up burning muscle.... something you DO NOT want, as more muscle burns fat.

    30 mins of interval cardio training in the morning on an empty stomach is good.

    I'm with Miss Molly on this one. I am excercising EVERY DAY just to get to school (which is over 5km away). I either walk or cycle there and it's great for my legs.

    I also do Tae Bo on the weekends and man, I am loving it! It was hardcore to get into at first (goes to show you how hard it works you) but now I am able to keep up with the class - only just about though!!

    I used to go to the gym, but I think Tae Bo is a lot more fun, you don't feel like a hamster on a treadmill and as such, I'm more likely to stick to it. But if prefer to go to the gym, I myself also recommend the elliptical trainer with the swinging arms as it's an all over body workout. The step machine is also fantastic for the legs and butt. Also do some weight lifting and stretch, stretch, stretch to tone yourself, I can't recommend it enough!!

    Oh, and when I excercise, I also do it first thing in the morning before breakfast. It is more effective because the body is burning stored fat. If you leave it until later in the day, your body will just burn what you have eaten.

    nope, you just begin to burn fat after 20 minutes of cardiovascular exercise. 30 minutes is not really enough. it's still cardio, but it will take you longer to loser the weight.

    Working out for more than 45 minutes of cardio can cause the body to store excess fat while it's at rest.
    I started watching what I ate and jogging 30 minutes every other day and lost 12 pounds in a few weeks.

    Running (preferably outside, as opposed to a treadmill) always does the trick for me. It is very intense, works nearly all your muscles, even arms and abs, and works very quickly. Running in intervals of different speeds keep you going longer, so you don't burn out fast.
