    Default Areolas!

What size areolas do you guys think looks best for 34C's? I personally like smaller ones and I am scheduled for surgery on them--yippeeeee! They are too large. I always had to put ice on them during my dance routines to make them smaller! Everyone thought it was part of the show when it was really mandatory for me. I hope I get rehired--I want to see what it's like to dance and not have to tell some poor customer on your stage to go get some ice! Heehee.

What's the prob? Don't you like them? I think I had the biggest and darkest areolas in my club, they were a turn on for a lot of guys because I actually got quite a few positive comments on them alone. A lot of the other girls didn't have any at all. I think my boobies look a lot more like boobs with them. I must admit, at first I was self conscious of them but I dig them a lot now!

I used to have small pink areolas- but since having kids, they are larger now and dark- I'm getting used to them. Women come in all shapes, sizes, and colors- some guys like the large dark ones, some like the small lighter ones- we can't please everyone. But if it really makes you self-conscious- then get it done- it's important that you love your body. Good luck
And Malibu- it's so nice to know others out there have larg dark areolas- I'm not alone!

Oh, yes, larger areolas can be tragically sexy. A lot of men have undying fetishes for them. I really doubt that you ladies have the same problem as I do, though, because mine are a different story--they are not just large, but abnormally large. So, no, I don't like them at all. I have dark areolas, too, and I did get quite a few compliments on them. Some men have even asked if I dyed them! I think dark areolas are so sexy, too--yum yum. So the coloring is fine.

And come to think of it, I actually did get compliments on their size, but the size I was getting compliments on actually wasn't the natural size, it was the size after icing them down. My reduction is also supposed to give my breasts a tiny lift, which will be nice. I really think that my areolas are so extensive that they actually seem to make my breasts sag more. So, yeah, I believe with all my heart that the operation will be right for me. I think I'm purtty, and my body is pretty nice, but I think certain parts of my aesthetics could definitely be improved.

Exotica, can really large areolas really give the illusion of sagging boobs?? I would never have thought that!
But I guess if they are really large to you, I wish you the best with your surgery. After all, I was slightly self concious of mine to begin with and they they don't seem to be as large as yours sound.
I hope that the planningn of the surgery and the procedure go extremely well for you. Is it scheduled anytie soon? Let us know how you do!

Thank you, Malibu. I am scheduled in a couple of weeks. And yes, I think that on my particular breasts, my areolas do seem to give the illusion of saggy breasts. My breasts are kind of saggy anyway--not too much, but just a little. The procedure will consist of removing some skin and sewing the breast skin to the newly reduced areola, which will mean that there will be some tightening, which will lead to a slight lift. There is even a breast lift procedure called the Benelli lift, or donut lift, where the incision is made around the areola. Malibu, I am quite sure you don't have the same problem as I do, thankfully for you! So I am glad that you are no longer self-conscious of your breasts as you should'nt be!

Good luck w/ your surgery- I had a reduction/ full lift in April of 2002, I ended up having a baby and breastfeeding since the surgery but my breast still look alright- you can see them in the newbie section under newbie concerns I posted a pic. My aerolas look pretty nice in that pic- I dunno what happened LOL. Btw- the surgery was a breeze and I had like NO pain afterwards- all I took was tylenol- and I was fine, changing diapers the day I got home. Take care!

Wow, Nina, you are absolutely GORGEOUS, just gorgeous! Your breasts are awesome--your skin is beautiful, the coloring of your nipples are beautiful, everything. Wow. No oversized areolas there. You look like a gothic goddess. Thanks for telling me about your experience--it's comforting. I hope my surgery will work out okay just as yours has.

How true Nina! After giving birth my areolas got HUGE. I love them, and not to mention the fact that i can reach orgasm at certain times of the month with stimulation just to the nipple and surrounding areola itself now. Love huge areolas!

Pamela, your areolas are also very nice! They are a beautiful size, and I do not consider them to be huge at all! Let alone oversized! Mine have always been very, very, very large. Over twice the size they are supposed to be. They have remained the same size even after having my child (could they GET any larger :o?). They got WAY darker during my pregnancy, but now they are back to their original coloring. Yours are very nice, though. Also, there has been a lot of mention regarding your hair--it's gorgeous, as you are. Did you say that you work here in the US? American men love Swedish women!

Thanks so much for the compliments! I'm sure your surgery will be fine- the moments leading up are the scariest- but once you're asleep- it's so easy from then on- I think the worse part for most people is the anesthesia- luckily I didn't have a bad reaction at all and woke up totally fine- it was great cause I was SO nervous (I'm very sensitive to drugs, cant even have caffeine). So good luck and keep us posted!

btw- in that pic my color does look nice, but normally its darker- it changes alot, depending on- well you know... stuff LOL

I don't think very large areolas are attractive at all, and have heard the same from many customers, sorry. Is there a cosmetic procedure you can get for that?

Oh, yes! There is a surgery (thank God for plastic surgery!). I'm having it done in a couple of weeks, and I can't wait. I don't think overly large areolas are attractive either, which is part of the reason I'm having this done. I don't think customers think they are attractive either, but they do like larger ones, just not excessively large ones like mine.

Nina, thank you for the luck. I am only having the areolas done instead of the full lift, so I will not be going to sleep. They will give me anesthesia of course, but just not the kind that will put me to sleep. Thankfully, I react very well to anesthesia. Hell, my c-section and oral surgery were some of the funnest times ever!

I think the look of areola size is relative to the size of the breast. Large, dark areolas don't look good on tiny breasts, but on large ones, either natural or implants, they can look fine - if they are proportionate. My areolas aren't that small - they are on the large side of average I guess - they were smaller until I got implants and they got larger after the surgery from the skin being filled out. I've never gotten anything but compliments but then again mine are proportionate. However, if I was ever to need a lift I would probably get the areola reduction done at the same time.

I totally agree with the proportion size thing--mine are way out of proportion I have to say.

Well, let's see. I wear size 34C cups, and my areolas are now about 1.5 inches in diameter, instead of the huge, huge size they were before. So they are more proportioned. My breasts almost look fake right now, because of the swelling? Hopefully they are not swollen too much! The surgery also provided a slight lift for my breasts, too. The areolas still have puckering around them from the incisions and they are not perfectly round. But that's okay, they are smaller and that was my main concern. I have sensation in my nipples again, also. I'm on my 5th day postop. I have a tiny bit of pain, not too bad. I hope everything continues to go okay. Oh, during the surgery, they were playing REM! Is that normal, to play music during surgery? Also, I was awake dring the procedure and they gave me some light anestesia, but at certain times I could feel the scalpel and some sewing! It wasn't too bad, though. Other than that, the surgery itself went great. The staff was very nice.

So you got kinda like the donut lift? The puckering should subside and mine aren't completely smoothly round- I figure in about 10 years i'll get another lift and fix it then- not too noticeable now. I plan on the benelli (donut) lift when I do go again. I'm so glad you're happy w/ your results! And so glad you're not experiencing any discomfort! Take care

    UPDATE
I am really enjoying the way my breasts are healing. The scabbing is subsiding and my skin is blending in more with my areolas. The puckering has lessened as well. Still some bruising and pain, but everything is looking better and better each day. They still have that nice lift. I'm feeling lucky.
