Default Don't slip me a Mickey

About a week ago, I think a customer slipped something in my drink. I did not go unconscious, but after one drink I was so sluggish that I had to come home. I have not seen hhin since. Has anyone had an experience like this?

Yep, I had a customer gave the bartender $$ to put something in my drink once, and she DID IT!! I think it was X - I hadn't done drugs in a loong time, but I went back in the dressing room and was like, wow, this is not alchohol, and one of the other girls said she'd seen that guy give the bartender a bunch of $$$ and they were talking about me.

So I told her I had a heart condition and I was feeling really funny, etc, etc. She still didn't admit to it, but another customer told me he'd seen it too and didn't make the connection until I started feeling funny. Then the bartender admitted it.

I'm VERY careful with my drinks at my club. Whilst it's generally safe to drink within my club than at another club (nite or strip)... in my time at my current club I have seen a handful of dancers be affected by 'spiked' drinks.

Hence I either do not drink at all on the job or take the drink with me if I have to leave the table (even if another dancer who is mindful is at the table).

So far so good because of the precautions I have taken....

I have had this happen to me several times. When I go to any bar, I order beer or wine, and open the bottle myself. I never set my drink down, it is always in my hand.

Lena, I can't believe that bartender did not get fired.

I can't believe people would go to extemes such as slipping drugs in anyone's drink for any reason. If the person does have a health condition, it could lead to death. Even if they don't, it could! Shame on these ruthless, disturbed people.

If I see the fucker again I will have him thrown out. Thinking back on it, he was pushing that drink on me so hard that I thought he was just hopeless. I see revenue in hopeless men. I see they aren't always so harmless. Girls, be CAREFUL. I started taking mace to work with me and I carry it around at work, just in case.

OMG I hope that bartender got fired!

I'm glad you both came away from that safely!

I don't work in an alcohol club-but I keep my coffee/soda etc with me at all times simply because it's not worth the risk (I still remember that story someone posted a while back where a dancer got hit with not only date rape drug-but also that sterlization pill-how horrible!)

The things some people will do to others never fails to amaze me.

Wow!! I too really hope that bartender got fired...that is so shady. There was a time a couple of years ago when quite a few girls at my club were getting GHB put into their drinks. I was one of them, and the resuld was not pretty It took a while, but the culprit was finally found out. Looking back, I realize that I was a bit careless with my cocktail...I'm not anymore.

The bartender didn't have your back.........or as I can see it, the rest of the girls! Bring it up to the club owner to get her fired......that is just plain wrong!

Also what about the police. Have anyone reported to the police. I would want to see a girl getting killed from an overdose because of someone stupidity,or greed. This is terrible. I never heard about this being an issue.

My best friend at work is extremely paranoid about this- as she should be- but made me aware of this problem. We both got drinks one night- she got a Bloody Mary and I got Vodka Tonic- on the house when we got to work- one drink each- and a little while later she felt a drug. we watched the bartender make the drink so we assumed the drug was in the bloody mary mix. Who knows - or could prove- who did it.

Anyways, a drink of mine was spiked one night; I count my drinks each time I order one and know my limits... I remember drinking 2 drinks that night- I don't remember anything. I don't remember dancing for anyone, I don't remember coming home, I don't remember going to bed... I don't remember doing ANYTHING until I woke up the next morning on the floor, covered in puke, fully clothed, and right inside my door;it really freaks me out because I might very well be one of those "extras" girls- as posted elsewhere- and not even know it.

Needlesstosay, my drink never leaves my hand and I'm even more contientious of the # of drinks I have, the people around me, and everything else at work.

This has actually happened to me in a regular club, but never at a strip club. I was out clubbing with this one guy, who I met through a friend. Anyway, we were at the bar, and he bought me a Smirnoff Ice, and I started drinking it. Then he proceeded to buy me another one, when I had barely even had a sip of the first one. After he bought that one, he said he had to go use the bathroom, and brought my Smirnoff in there with him. He was in there for a really long time, and when he came out with my drink, my drink was foaming over the top of the bottle. So after I finished the first one, he gave me the second one. I tried it and it definitely didn't taste right. Half-joking and half-serious, I asked him if he put anything in it and he got really offended, so I made it seem like I was making a joke. A little bit later we decided to go out to the patio, and no glass was allowed out there, so I poured the contents of my Smirnoff bottle into a plastic cup, and at the bottom of the smirnoff bottle there was some white residue, NOT from the smirnoff drink. SCUMBAG!! Ladies, watch your drinks and trust NO ONE!!

I learned the hard way not to leave my drinks unattended or accept open drinks from people.
I was doped 2x a few years ago while at work. The first time was so horrible. I got called to the dj booth and told a bottle of champange and a $ customer were in vip 2 asking for me so off I went happy as a lark. After I had been w/ this guy for 20 min or so in vip when I just sorta fainted. I woke up a bit later with his hand in me ng: and him jerking off and oh man did I freak on him. i pretty much beat the living crap out of him for a few sec then bolted to get help. He was gone with both glasses when the bouncer and I got back.

About a year later I started feeling funky after doing a shot w/ these frat boys and so excused myself for a few min and about passed out in the bathroom. Off 1 shot- i don't think so... I made myself throw up to be safe.
Now I only drink bottled water that I open and I never drink a drink thats been out of my sight.

I'm surprised its happened to so many other dancers here. There's some real sick people out there in the world getting their jollys off drugging women

Been there, done that. However, I drink nothing but Coca-cola so it was even more obvious. I left my drink with a regular while I went on stage. The regular left our table (and thus our drinks) unattended while he tipped me on both front and back stage. After stage was done, my drink tasted a little... weird. I tossed it after a couple of sips and ordered a fresh coke.

Fast forward a couple of hours and I was all lightheaded, woozy and completely without energy. I felt like a rag doll, yet had drunk not a drop of alcohol all night. I told the DJ and he kept me off the stage, but I finished out my shift.

I never did find out who did it; it might have been the regular or someone who saw his opportunity when the regular left my drink unattended. Regardless, I take my drink with me to the stage now.

the first club I worked in i saw a girl get drugged. she started acting all funny like she was smashed and the manager asked the bartender how many she had had. the bartender kept saying I only gave her three shots. then someone else said they saw the girl drinking a customers beer. then I remembered that I had seen him holding it and he kept handing it to her. fortuantly her friend also worked there and the manager let them both go home early. I remember her in the dressing room crying and yelling "NO get off! STOP!" when no one was even touching her.

This is the craziest stuff I've heard. In my whole time, I have never seen this happen. Maybe I am just lucky. Jeez, I get told I am too trusting with people. Maybe I should harden up a little and get my guard up.

Sorry this has happened to some of you but thanks for scaring my ass into being more cautious.

YES get your guard up. Something bad always happens when you let your guard down. i hate to sound pessimistic, but you are more vulnerable than the customer there. Watch your DRINKS! Some gus will do ANYTHING to have more of a chance with you. And people in there are willing to do anything for money. Trust yourself only.

Oh, no, she didn't get fired, but I quit. There was a weird situation with that bartender - the owner had been trying to get rid of her since aquiring the club, but this bartender basically *was* the club, and very well connected. The owner was afraid that if she fired her she would burn the building down or something. Eventually she did get rid of her, and the club pretty much went under right away.

Wow, sorry to hear that ladies.

But in the cases of the other girls some of you have seen drugged....is everyone absolutely sure that its from being slipped something "extra". Cause personally, 3 shots + sipping someone else's beer would be enough for me if I had not eaten enough.

I've puked before from a beer and a shot because my organism just wasn't handling it right.....not to doubt any of you or your ordeals, I've just also wondered the same thing when I felt way too wasted and sick from very little alcohol...does it ALWAYS indicate being drugged?

No, but that is really scary. I am glad you are safe. Did you call a doctor? Maybe you could have gone to the hospital and had your blood or urine tested?

My club has camera's and license scanners, so I would be able to catch someone who did this to me.

If you can do anything to remember or locate the guy it is worth trying to do. You don't want another dancer to be slipped something and have it turn out badly.

I've heard of this happening quite a bit actually and it happens more than you realize. I'm glad you mentioned the police too. If this were a reputable club (which obviously it wasn't) getting fired should be the least of her concern, it should be going to prison. Not being an attorney, I can't say specifically which crime she committed and yet assault and battery does come to mind. In a way, it's too bad she's not there any more as you would know where to go to press charges. Hindsight is always 20/20, and yet if it were myself, I'd have the police down there hauling her away in handcuffs within 24 hours after she pulled that crap. May I remind you, the X he slipped in your drink may just have been something that would have you in the morgue right now. Consider yourself lucky that you came out of it okay and it's a good learning lesson for others! Sorry to hear about it though...it's a horrible experience I'm sure.
