MD--totally!! Look at this list, you'd be hard pressed to find this many prestigious professions being sought on other boards!! So much for being dumb hos...

I withdrew for this semester because I wasn't very disciplined and I was having major depression problems. (Unrelated to stripping. I haven't been working regularly for awhile.) Now I am going to try to work really hard all summer so I can get a place of my own when I am back in school next semester, and not have to worry about rent or bills.
I am studying Art Education (Photography and Drawing and probably Textiles are my primary interests right now), and I think I am going to go for a double major in that and in Sociology.

I am a psych major. I currently am going to be a junior but I think I am having a change of heart about my major. Everyone says that I should stick with it because I have taken so many psych classes. Does anyone feel that guilty about being school longer, like an extra year or two because they switched majors.

I'm debating wether to go pre-med or not, so right now I'm a biochem major, and I LOVE it!!! Yeah, labs suck sometimes, but I dispise writing papers, and both my brothers are english majors. I look at them and go "thank god I'm not doing that!" there's no way I could hand in 20 page papers every week! I guess my advice is, if there's no other major that you really think you'd RATHER be doing, or your sure that you want to spend the rest of you life being a doctor, get through the classes... it's only a few semesters that will get you through the rest of your life!

I completed about 65% of an Associates of Arts degree to move on to a BA in English before I realized that I do not want to pay to become a teacher which is typically what you get with an ENglish degree. I then found my true love which is gemology and shoudl be done with that in another year or so. My goal is to start my own Independent Appraisal business while working as a buyer for a jewelry store. Everybody come see me for your appraisals!!!

Seriously, though, never try to push through something you don't love. I have seen too many people come out of school with a degree they hate and 20k of student loans to payoff!!

I'm finishing up chemistry right now and moving on to orgo...ugh. Just put in the time to understand the principles. I tried to memorize everything and it didn't work. I'm premed as well...and sometimes I wonder if it will be worth it in the end ya know...with all that debt.
Once you get into it though...you'll feel guilty if you quit. Keep clawing your way through it...it will pay off.
    good luck
