I never, ever, never, ever get up from a table and then finish my drink after coming back to the table. If my customer asks me why, I just say that I "hate watered down drinks." (from the ice melting). If the drink is not in my hand, in my line of sight...then I just won't drink it. Full stop...end of story.
    Smart.

Usually when I get a drink for somebody, it's a shot. So it's gone pretty quickly, but some ladies prefer a larger drink or a bottle of water (VOSS). So, I've been the self-appointed protector of many a drink, and I won't leave it unsupervised. However, in light of new events, I will make it a habit to call their attention to it if they leave. Not that I mind watching it, but it's a good habit to encourage. It's nice to know that you're trusted, but there's always some jerk that could take advantage.

Grrr. I'm not a violent person, but right now if I found somebody tampering with a drink...

For real?? I have never heard of this happen! (am I naive?) I would have said what is the point because they can hardly drag you out the club to date-rape you or anything, but maybe it's just to have malicious control over you in some way because they can't ever in their life get close to a real woman.

In saying that, I don't leave my drinks unattended but that's just out of habit from when I started to go regular clubbing as a young teen.
Most of the times i have seen this happen(alot of times)its just to get extra's in the lapdance room. They drug the drink, wait 10-15 mins and then take you in the back for a dance before you get to drugged. Some rape, most just get their fingers wet. This can happen all night long.

Then you have the ones who like to drug the girls at last call, take them to "breakfast"or an afterhour show, and then rape them.

Lets not forget about the other entertainers who drug girls. They might think your taking their money or their customer from them,so they knock you out of the comp.Next thing you know your stretched out in the dressing room and nobody can start you breathing again.Your dead before the EMS unit gets there.

and last but not least, lets not forget the MGRS/owners/doorman/dj's who spike your drink at closing time so they can get a little of what they have been watching all night after work.

Dont be stupid ladies.Even if its in a reg club or restaurant,NEVER NEVER drink a drink that has been out of your sight for even a split second.

Ladies dont get drinks in a club, they get SIPS.
Hell you dont even pay for most of your drinks anyways,WTF sip it and toss it away!
Im tired of going to the funerals and im tired of seeing what it does to a woman afterwards.

    BTW
most times they prey on the strippers who are drunk already. They make easy targets and its hard to know if she has been drugged or just trashed.

True...but, it's not as common. Would you spike the drink of a dancer who never drinks alcohol? That would make it very suspicious if she all the sudden became "intoxicated". It would raise red flags. It DOES happen, though, but no where near as much as spiking an alcoholic drink.

Also, spiking drinks happens much more in a night club setting than in a strip club. The important thing here is...if you haven't had your hand on the drink the whole time or it hasn't been in your sight the whole time...don't drink it.

This is a very disturbing topic.

Can i ask a q? Is there any way that I, as a customer, can keep a lookout for this? What are any warnings, if any?
    Not much you can do.
If you see someone putting something in a drink, fire off the alarm.Thats about it.

To many dancers do drugs and drink till they fall down.In some clubs its hard to tell them apart.

    Besides,
what the difference between the guy who spikes a drink, and the guy who buys a girl drinks all night long till she is drunk??
Both have the same intent IMO,the only difference is one is legal and one is faster.
Its a sad situation that cost lives and results in rape.
Sure wish girls would wake up to that fact and NOT drink or do drugs at work. What other jobs can you drink all night long with no prob???

The difference is CHOICE. The dancer that chooses to accept those drinks knows whats up. The dancer whose drink is doctored ... doesn't

HELLO .... One of the reasons many girls choose to become dancers is so they can "Get paid to drink/party/flirt". A close second is getting paid to dance/workout. Of course the "new" wears off this quickly and then they just drink to cover thier un-happiness with the knowledge that they now have a lifestyle that requires an income they cannot achieve from any other job (short of 8 years of college --- which a very few dancers finally manage to do).

For what it's worth ... dancers are a lot less likely to be unknowingly drugged in thier strip club than any attractive woman is in a regular bar setting.

True, although I might add that when Rohypnol or GHB is mixed with alcohol their effects are considerably more potent.

Not sure whether this is due to location, difference in age groups, or what, but my perception has been exactly the opposite. I rarely see/hear of a woman being drugged in a regular bar setting around here (Houston), but see/hear of a dancer being drugged in their club on a fairly regular basis.

Disgusting, regardless where it takes place. Anyway, all I can say to you ladies is same thing I tell my dancer friends here: NEVER, NEVER, NEVER take a drink from anyone but the bartender/waitress you know, and NEVER, NEVER, NEVER let it out of your sight. If you lose sight of it for even a moment, DON'T DRINK IT. I've seen girls after they've unknowingly ingested this stuff - and they don't have a CLUE where they are, what they're doing, nothing.

Yes, I've been spiked by customers. Not knock-out drugs though, acid and stuff like that, several times. I have also been drugged many times at regular bars.... It's really hard to make me pass out though. Once my ex had my drink spiked by this guy at a bar and when I started to feel woozy, I jumped in the car and drove home, and ran in and passed out in the bed. He said he didn't think I would ever be able to do that on that dosage.

I never drink at work (alcohol). If I do get a drink, the waitress always brings it to me and once I have it in my sight I do not allow it to sit unwatched.

Only get bottled water from the customers. If they instead on liquor I get a shot and watch the bartender pour it.

I've never had a problem. If the drink leaves my sight, I won't touch it again! Sorry about all of the bad experiences.....I don't know anyone who has had this.

GHB mixed with alcohol causes major vomiting....why would anyone use that shit??

I'm really surprised no one has brought this up---everytime I've seen a dancer get slipped something in her drink it's almost always been in the Champagne room!

Ladies, you can watch your drink on the floor like a hawk, but how many of you over the years have left your glass unattended in the Champagne room? Seriously!

If I was a loser that wanted to spike a dancer's drink to get 'extras', that's how I'd go about it. It's more private, less out of the general view of the club, etc etc.

So next time you're in the champagne room and you get the 'urge' to go to the ladies room to 'freshen up' (ie run the clock down), take your glass with you!

My #2 cardinal rule for strippers: DO NOT GET DRUNK!

I THINK it happened to me once, at the Gold Club in New Orleans. I went to the hospital to be on the safe side, but all the tox screens they ran came back negative.

It was strange though: I sat with this weird guy for a while, went on stage, came back, had a few sips of my drink, went on stage again (slow night) and the felt woozy and "jello-like" for most of the set very suddenly. I watch my drinks a lot more closely now.

I was drugged by the top manager and owner of a club I worked at (briefly)- what happened was there were trying to drug the customer, and he didn't want the drink. So I was like "give me the drink!" - of course, not thinking that ownership would do such a thing! Well, next thing I know I was TORE UP and not doing so well. Jerks. Now I'm at another club and they are going under- lawsuits and all. Ha. Payback's a bitch.

    Got drugged 3 times.

    1st was XTC
    2nd was a roofie
    3rd was a roofie

The first time was the worst because I had never done it before and didn't know what it was.

    Bastards.
