    Default Travelling to Indianapolis?

Hi, I'm heading to Indy for a few weeks this spring. Wondering what the good clubs are to work at there? I hear that most of the clubs are moderate-mileage but have never actually been to any of them.

I've worked in a huge variety of places, from Christie's and HiLiter in Phoenix to teeny tiny dive Dolls in Iowa. I have no preference for either nude or topless. I am NOT a Barbie doll however, I tend to attract guys looking for someone a little -er- quirky (i.e., I danced with dreadlocks for a little while).

I've never travelled to work though, I'm not sure how to go about doing it. Do I send them pics and a "resume" ahead of time? Have to do "amateur night" in order to get hired?

Any and all info will be helpful. TIA.

    Kali

I hear they've changed onwership but both the Brad's clubs used to be nice. Brad's Gold Club is pretty upscale while Brad's Brass Flamingo is more of a neighborhood bar kind of place. Both are very popular and should provide good income potential.

Best money is at Dancers West. It's out by the airport just past UAL and ATA. They get high paid blue and white collar guys in there. Contact is low, tips are good. Tipouts are about average for Indy. When I danced there, it was $20 to the DJ, whatever to the bartender and waitresses and $2-$5 to the doorman if he walked you to the car. The club got $5 for every VIP you did. It's probably gone up some since then.

Next best money is Brad's Brass Flamingo. Good crowds after sporting events, good crowds during race weeks, lunch is very busy and they limit the number of dancers over lunch. Mid and Night shifts are very busy from Thursday on. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are mediocre. No stage fee. The club gets $10 per half hour in the VIP room. You get to keep all your tips for couch and stage dances. No, I mean zero, pressure from management to solicit dances. Thus, lots of girls just sit around and wait to go on stage. If you are willing to work, just a little, you will bank in this place on a slow day. VIPs are $50 for a half hour of low contact dancing. I had several regulars who were happy to go into the VIP and just chat for that! I always asked the guy to pay the $10 to the club. If you don't walk out after an eight hour shift with $400 you haven't even tried. Again, contact is low. No drink hustle either.

PTs can be good money, but the tipouts are higher. Seems like everyone there has a hand out. But, there is no VIP room, all dances are either at the table side or in couches next to the bar. Either way, contact is low and on a Friday or Saturday, it's easy to make bank. Lunches aren't bad either, as lots of guys hit the place for lunch and a dance or two.

Babes East and West are neighborhood clubs. But, they can be very busy during race weeks. Brads Gold club is just like Brad's Brass Flamingo, only on the west side of town. Classy Chassy is a car museum with some dancers. I have no idea how anyone makes any money there, except during race weeks. And even then, I'm not sure they make much money. Big curvy stage though. So if you're into pretending you're a model, I guess it might be fun.

General rule in Indy, low contact, and no drink hustle. Keep in mind that drink hustling is illegal in Indiana and will get a club busted faster than anything else. Also, if you busted for drink hustling, forget about ever getting a job in another place with a liquor license. The ABC cops, if they catch a club with a drink hustler will close the club and arrest everyone in the place. The IPD could care less about the clubs unless someone starts giving too much contact. Then, figure the sector Sergeant will show up, in uniform, and plant himself on vulture's row. Talk about killing the mood. Indy is a pastie town too.

I work at the Chassy and I do just dandy...great management (ran by a woman), great staff all around, fabulous women and a great themed environment adored by most visitors...

As an observation there seems to be some unspoken (perhpas writen however) rivalry between clubs here in town--the Brass and Gold clubs are the only ones in Indy that sell the girls short IMO--checking out clubs is the only way to find your 'fit'...
