Default is everyone on here a prude?

if you look at yourself you should realize that you work in a sexual enviroment not a library!why do most of you insist on crying when a guy tries something like touching or licking? you want to work in this enviroment then you have to put up with a lot of crap.that's the buisness we chose to be in if you don't like it quit.

I actually prefer working in an environment where more is tolerated than less. I like to be able to get closer than 3 feet and let someone touch me (to my own personal limits) and not worry about getting fired and/or arrested. But that's just me. I'm a pretty touch-feely kind of person or else I wouldn't be doing this job.

Hehehehehe...I've been beginning to think the same thing Darkness. I think the prude factor is multi-faceted:

    1. Hypocrisy, speaks for itself.

    2. Geography. Different regions have a variety of enforced and ignored laws as well as expectations.

    3. Newbies. Many of these girls are still in the ivory tower about our industry.

I too, prefer to touch my boys, it makes a connection between us and I am not afraid of big bad hairy men (lol). Heck, I also fall in love like 5 times a night, and consistently rake in the big bucks too...meow!!!

Excuse me, but saying that we should just put up with it because we work in a sexual environment is just as narrow-minded as the nitwits saying we're all prostitutes because we take our clothes off for money. Every night I go in and deal with assholes who can't accept the word 'no'. Now I fully understand that guys are going to want to touch and lick the goods but when they're told it's not allowed and have their hands pushed away, then continue the groping and act like they're doing nothing wrong and are even 'entitled' to do as they please with no regard for the rules or my approval, well they are assholes and deserve a good dose of reality. Walking into a strip club does not mean throwing all social and personal etiquette aside. I too prefer a bit of contact in my dancing, but I do not appreciate assholes treating me like a blowup doll. I am not a prude and certainly not naive or a hypocrite. I am a human being and expect to be treated like one, just as I treat everyone else!

The beginning post in this thread reads very much like it came from a cowardly little boy troll to me. Are we still being trolled by the Aces High boys that foxeee stole lunch money from on the playground in school? LOL

If I want to be touched and licked and the like, it will be with someone I choose to be with, not with a random stranger who has hired me for a dance. Sorry, but if I'm going to get that personal with someone I'll need more than 5 minutes of getting to know them before I am willing to swap bodily fluids.

Now don't get me wrong, I've had my fair share of one night stands. But I have never had a "professional" one night stand, and never will. My promiscuity and my dancing are mutally exclusive. Dancing is my job, my sex life is on my own time with whom I chose.

My job is my job, my sex life is my sex life, and if I wanted the two to combine I would march my ass down to Nevada and LEGALLY become a prostitute.

I work in a city where their is contact (2 way) however the one rule that all the clubs have is NO MOUTH CONTACT (and everything that entails).

I do understand how some guys can get lost in the 'heat of the moment' and forget about the rules or else be influenced by my teasing (her nipple is just so close.... ) so I give them a polite little warning. If they do it again, my club is behind me when I walk out. If they want to touch in my "no go zone" (between the butt cheeks, legs, inner thigh and pubic area)... it is illegal to touch in that area and no warnings.. I leave.

I state all the rules up-front before I start the dance. I make they realise that if they break the rules they will be getting a visit from the bouncer. Then I dance. I am no prude by a long shot! I just don't want to have to put up with crap that I don't have to put up with... and my club is behind me in that regard.

Rules are stated and there for a reason.

I wish my bouncers were occasionally active in the VIP, it seems like they're always snapping at you or customers in the bar [nothing bad, but something like they touched your hip for half a second when putting a tip in your G-string], but apparently unless you scream or something they never notice anything in the VIP. I had struggle to remove this guy's deathgrip on my crotch in FULL view of the camera the other night. Grr.
No, I don't 'cry' when this happens, but it still irritates me that apparently some customers can't read a "no contact with X" sign or completely disregard me when I say "and you can touch here and here. NOT HERE."

I work in a contact club, and if I dont want something done to me, I will say so. I dont have to put up with anything I dont like, so YES, I WILL say no if someone makes me uncomfortable. You dont need to tell anyone how to do their jobs, got it?

I have friends who are pro-dommes, escorts, prostitutes at the legal brothels, adult models, etc. I have no problem with what they do. Besides dancing, I've worked in the adult internet world... and not just as "content". The clubs I dance in are one way contact and I like being able to touch my customers. I'd feel sort of lost without being able to be a bit "hands-on".

That said, in the club, I won't cross the accepted level of contact for the club because it makes it harder for all the girls there: a customer sees dancer A doing X and expects all dancer to do the same and this not only goes above comfort levels but puts us all in potential legal jeopardy. *That* is my problem. Prude, no.

I will agree with you, darkness, that we are part of the sexual/adult entertainment world and we should accept that.

We accept it by continuing to work there. That's the point. We vent about what bothers us here on the board-like Bridgett who is adverse to the stubborn assholes who do not understand "Please don't try to finger me". The arrangement of two-way contact is pretty new and if we have been in the business awhile, we have not gotten used to that yet.

For the record, I don't give airdances. Hell, I'll even grind. That doesn't bother me at all. We have to always be on the lookout for hands andmouths sneaking to inappropriate places. The battle makes us weary. Not prudish. When I am home cuddled up to my Human, prude is the last thing on my mind.

I don't think it's a question of "prudishness", just more an issue relating to personal limits.

Most non-dancers would hardly call any woman who takes her clothes off for a living a prude, regardless of if they work at a high-class showbar or working-class neighborhood LD club. I think we sometimes forget that the rest of the "real" world doesn't regard us too highly, often out of ignorance.

I've danced in fully nude stage-dancing only clubs in DC where you pretty much had to show pink to make $, yet nary a night went by when at least one girl there said she felt better about working there rather than "dry-humping" for $ (their parlance for lapdancing). You can't touch a dancer on stage in DC.

Yet I've also met topless dancers who could grind a hole through your pants but said it was better than "letting everyone see your coochie".

And then there's girls who do fully nude lapdances, and all the other variants and permutations in this business primarily determined by area and particular club.

I personally am comfortable with some contact, but I'm clear about my rules yet still make money. I've done well in New Orleans and Vegas (albeit at lower-contact Treasures) but walked out halfway through a shift at Platinum Plus in Memphis and Showcase in Maryland (both ultra high-mileage LD clubs).

I also have friends who are escorts, fetish models and pro-dommes and don't pass judgement on any of them.

It's my belief that we are basically all in the same business, just that each of us fulfills a different need or desire.
"She has written so well, and marvellously well, that I was completely ashamed of myself as a writer...But this girl, who is to my knowledge very unpleasant and we might even say a high-grade bitch, can write rings around all of us who consider ourselves as writers"

I would never consider myself as being a "prude", however I will never ever do anything in my place of business that breaks any of the city/state laws and or ordinances. I have no intentions of getting arrested or ticketed at work.

I went to work at a downtown club by me a few weeks ago and I didn't get it at all. The girls had no limits (and I mean none) as to what the customer could or could not do. Yet they made no more money than I would at a normal night at my club where thet can't touch at all. At least 10 of them made less then $300 on a Saturday night.

Everyone had their own perferences though right? A long as you're making money, that's all that counts.

I don't think anyone who works in the sex industry can be considered a prude.

If touching is NOT allowed you don't do it as a dancer. If touching IS allowed and you don't want touching as a dancer whats the problem? Does every dancer have to do what every other dancer does? Some guys just respect women more than others perhaps, and don't want to be touched either, or touch a dancer! They just want to watch!

I was a NO contact dancer in a club that did it's best to keep the place clean, BUT we had our "dirty" dancers come along and "play."

I still banked, i had my own style and was very very nice to the guys.

Guys knew in the club i worked touching would be rare (licking tits.) and not tolerated, so they behaved themselves.

I hate a strange guys mouth on my body...YUK. I am not a prude, but make damn good money....Still!!!!

Sometimes personality does sell you when you dress like SEX!!!!

If money was the only issue standing between me and a guy touching me i might as well become a prostitute. Im saying its more of a moral thing and respect for your body not a money thing.

Hey Darkness...Why don't you tell us what the ordinances are in your area before you start calling us prudes?
I may be a newbie to this web site but I have 8 years of dancing experience. I danced my way across the United States and even danced in Hawaii, all by myself without an agent. I have worked peep show booths, done live lesbian shows, worked champagne rooms that consisted of "mutual masterbation shows" and they were all within the limits of the club rules wherever I was working. I am not a prude.
I have worked most of my time in Full Contact Grind clubs. They can touch me everywhere except between the legs. All for 20 bucks a song. I make great money and I am sick and tired of prostitutes using the clubs as safe havens to turn their tricks. Illegal aliens from South America and Europe are what is ruining the fantastic earning abilities for all of us. They either grind the guys until they come in their pants in 3 songs (at which time the guys leaves the club with the money he would've spent over the course of several hours) or they let the guys fingerbang them. If everybody worked within the limits of the laws, there would be a hell of alot more money to be made and the prostitutes would have to go back to the escort services and parking lots where they belong. Hey I have friends that are prostitutes and they understand that the stage in a strip club and the lap dance room are for teasing, not fingerbanging and pleasing.
As for "can't blame the guys for getting caught up in the heat of the moment" or saying that we work in a sexually charged environment...screw that!!!! Stop making excuses for yourself and the "johns". They know the deal, which is why they try. Evertime I grab a wrist as it is going to swipe my pussy I get the same response "Can't blame a guy for trying" basically stating that he is trying to see what I will give up and LET him do to me. My body, my rules.

Most importantly ladies, all the girls are being tested where I work voluntarily and vaccinated for Hepatits A and B. There is an epidemic in our community and if you do your research, you can get them so easily it will make your blood run cold. Yet Another reason to not swap body fluids with complete strangers for 20 bucks.

I understand what you are saying Darkness. I don't know if everyone is a prude, but it is true, we knew what to expect going into this business and it goes with the turf. Just like a dentist knows he must deal with peoples bad breath or a plumber knows he must stick his hand in a stopped up toilet.

They are also taking away jobs, increasing taxes, and screwing up national health and retirement benefits. And some of them even like to blow up things because they hate our Western ways...let's renew the Isolationist policies of the 19th century......
