Chicago clubs, for the most part, are very clean. VIP (Crazy horse) and Diamonds are the tops, Admiral and All Stars are slightly dirty but not too bad. Never been to Scarletts, Club O and Skybox are skanky, and Industrial Strip is a brothel.

I guess what I'd like to know is WHY ON EARTH would anyone do extras anyways? Think of all the diseases and crap out in the world right now.. I don't care how much fucking money someone has or offers.. I'd rather live a long and happy life and avoid the trouble all-together.. I'm worth more than that.

to me "extra" means anything illeagl. so in most places I have worked a hug while doing a dance is an extra. I gave them free. I have never done anything more then lapdance (non straddle) in a vip or private or whatever your club calls it. I used to work at a place that had two diffrent rooms (no dances on the floor at all), when the customers asked what the diffrence was we said "well the $35 one has a bigger couch and two tables to set your drink on instead of one." that really was the only diffrence. we made a whole five bucks more while the customer paid 10 more. so we didnt really care much. personally i wouldnt work somewhere that there was obvious prostitution. I just can't compete with that. plus then you get the "oh but she does it" and thats just more harassment...

I work a few hours south of The Region and these guys from there kept telling me I should work at the Industrial Strip, I'd make so much money, blah blah. I looked it up online later and was like whoa!!! What the hell were they saying?! (I guess it's pretty obvious...)

This poor girl. All she asked was a question....a question of which was touchy topic and most girls probably wouldnt have the balls to ask. She didnt say she wanted to do extras...she said she wanted to know what girls charge.
Even if she did want to do extras...thats her own damn business. Instead of going off on the girl, insulting her or her intelligence ....why not just give her a damn answer, or leave her alone.
And Aries I am sorry, I dont have the answer for you on these questions...but I give you props for asking....you do what you want ..dont listen to these girls who are just here to bash you........

OK - say this was a medical marijuana board. And somone came on and said Hey I'm selling crack and I want to know how much to sell it for. Might you not expect some grumbles? Give us a break

Anyway I didn't bash her . I, too, have questions!

    Exactly Ami!

I think there is a misconception by a lot of girls here that "extra" equates to a BJ,HJ, FS or some other blatent sex act. Truth be told, most extras performed in clubs are something of a lesser (sometimes FAR lesser) extent, but are still nonetheless illegal due to the often draconian ordinances on the books where something as seemingly innocuous as a hug is a no-no.

Club management can be less than forthtelling on what the "rules" actually are, knowing full and well that when LE comes in, the brunt of their wrath will be placed upon the dancers and not them. I remember a number of dancers in Kansas City were arrested last year for doing nothing more than letting customers place tips in their g-strings. Doesn't seem like an extra in the traditional sense, but it was still illegal.

I can understand the frustration some dancers have with their co-workers performing full blown extras in clubs, but the fact of the matter is that an overwhelming majority of dancers (and I would estimate 90% or better) bend the rules to some extent or another. Not neccesarily because they want to, but more often because political and economic circumstances in their area make doing so neccesary in order to make money. The more restrictive the laws are where a dancer works, the more likely that she IS one of those "extras" girls, simply because there's that much more which is forbidden.

If its a legal issue and the Feds are really going to make a concerted effort to scour this board for girls fessing up to doing extras, forcing SW's ISP to divulge our IP addresses, then forcing OUR ISP's to give out personal details...then taking the time to charge us something because a screename somewhere said "I enjoy giving blowsjobs in the back of stripclubs while smoking weed"....well then we are all going to hell in handbasket...

Now add, "while molesting little children and blowing up buildings in the good name of Allah"......and we might be getting warmer here.....

Well, I have known of girls doing extras just to get the guy in VIP, no tip and no extra payment. Other girls do BJs for $60, and girls charging up to $1k (on top of club's room charges) for extras in the VIP. I think it's a matter of how well the girl can negotiate/sell. Of course, those who do $60 BJs or just offer extras merely to sell VIP at no extra charge, for example, have sales skills which are SEVERELY lacking, are selling themselves WAY short, and desperately need to learn a thing or two. For instance, even when using a condom, STDs like herpes and genital warts are easily passed; also chlamydia and ghonorrhea are passed easily through oral sex without condoms, whether or not the guy cums in your mouth - it only takes ONE time - how much would getting a disease like this be worth? Ok so I got on a bit of a tangent!

The answer to the original question is, there is no answer. I have witnessed up close and personal, I once saw a girl giving HEAD to a customer in the champagne room for 45 minutes STRAIGHT while I sat in the same booth with the guy's friend, who got straight dances (grinding dances as is the standard in Houston).

At closing, I was paid for 20 dances and she was paid for 5. She seemed perfectly content. I was shocked. But she wasn't the cleanest looking girl in the place...the guy I was dancing for and myself couldn't help but observe that.

I suppose it depends on your own standards and expectations and confidece how much you will make when you do stuff like that.

When I take my dog for a walk and he takes a shit, I turn my head away out of "respect for his privacy" hahahahahaha, yes its silly, but I really do..

Thus, when I walk by the VIP booths, I try not to look at what's going on because I don't want to know the ugly truth. The worst I've seen is a girl getting fingered while dancing.....

Yes, when doing dances in the same area with other girls, I have often noticed that they sell themselves short and grind their asses off for the same pay as me. Part of it seems to stem from the fact that they are lazy and/or drunk, and not trying really hard. Its worth the effort to me to do creative dances and make the right tease/promise of more...than to have blistered skin all over my bottom from the rubby dub dub....

    Agreed.

Selling IS hard: there is a learning curve. Since young and new dancers are learning to sell their bodies that learning curve is also treacherous. It's tough to say "No" when desperate; and, as evidenced by the many message boards dedicated to the topic, there are plenty of men waiting to take advantage of just such desperation.

I think the smarter ones learn quick and the dumb ones are probably a step above where they were before stripping (giving head for a place to sleep or a bag of chips or whatever.) For example, that girl in francesca's story who got paid for 5 songs of head: who knows what she was doing before she started stripping? No matter what she is probably better off. But after she saw francesca get paid for 20 songs of grinding she probably made some changes in her routine.

Oh yeah! And the answer to the original question...how much to charge... AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.

Customer: How much to let me touch you?

Dancer: How much do you have?

    Customer: 20 bucks

    Dancer: More than that!

    Customer: Ok. 50 bucks

Dancer: Ok. You can touch my legs.

    And so on....

While I agree that extras are very dangerous and we are worth more, I also see a lot of very desperate women out there. As much as I know it hurts me as a dancer trying to make money with stricter standards, I can't bring myself to hate the "extras" girls. I was once broke and desperate too, and even tho I knew I was "worth" a lot, noone seemed to be paying me for being a decent person. I took chances with my safety when I started dancing (like doing dances for guys who were too drunk and grabby and strong) because I didn't know what else to do and I had no money and didn't have confidence that I could make money another way. Now that I know better, I do better. I'm lucky that I have other skills I can capitalize on like intelligence and class. But some girls don't have those things. I can't blame them for doing what they feel they need to do to pay their bills, even if it's unwise. Those of us who have it better, let's not take it for granted. Not everyone has the luxury of putting their happiness first.

i used to live in chic. and i danced at THE MOST upscale club in chic. called club O anyways , it was a shocking thing at first that the clientle did expect tons of extras in the VIP and i am a cute girl so i dont need to be asked to do that shit but it was just the norm at that place, management knew, bouncers got paid off and the regulars has lots and lots of $$$$ and went there expecting to spend alot but mainly because they were getting alot. so it can happen even in nicest of places. If you cant stand seeing it / competing with it etc. i would quit.

    GOOD LUCK

I don't think this is always the best strategy. It depends on whether or not you care about repeat business.

Some dancers overreach in what they try to charge for "extra" things (and I'm not necessarily talking about hardcore extras here). If I think a dancer is asking for too much, I may or may not pay it ONCE (depends on how much I want that activity with THAT dancer). But even if I go for it once, many a dancer has priced herself out of repeat business with me through getting overly ambitious with extra charges.

The question was: how much to charge for oral or regular sex. If the guy only has $20 or $50 than NO ORAL and NO SEX and to hell with future visits! Giving ten $20 blow jobs is stupid. Even worse to offer a blow to get the guy into the VIP room.

This reg crap only goes so far. The point of the dialogue you quote is to teach so-called "dancers" how to negotiate a higher price for their extra services and not undersell themselves in hopes of keeping the customer happy at all costs.

Some dancers may overdo it with the upsell but customers are grown ups and with time the "dancer" will learn what she can charge for her market.

My post was directed toward the girls who need help with their sales skills, not customers trying to work a deal.

Oh. Since you used the example of $50 extra to touch a dancer's legs, I thought you were making a broader point about squeezing maximum dollar out of each situation.

But I think my point holds with BJs, too. If a dancer wants repeat BJ business, she may not want to go for top dollar.

The MOST upscale club??? Club O? Since WHEN?? Club O is a joke and in the far south suburbs of Chicago. It's "upscale" compared to Skybox and Jimmy's...but in comparison to Admirals (more in their heyday) and VIP's...you're seriously joking.

Oh. Sorry. It seemed like you were trying to manipulate a beginning "dancer" into giving cheap (or free) blow jobs by dangling the promise of repeat business as a lure.

I guess it's my experiences around escort agenies that do the same thing to their girls.

My bad. I guess I misunderstood.
