Default Need some advice (This is kind of embarrassing)...

    I'm blue.

Sunday I wore a new cotton blue shirt without washing it first, and i apparently sweated with it on. I fell assleep on my couch wearing the shirt. This morning when I was getting ready for work I took the shirt off to take a shower and about hit the ceiling.

I'm BLUE! My entire upper body is BLUE. How do I get rid of this (I learned a sharp lesson to wash clothes before wearing them, by the way)? I look like either a big bruise, or a frozen man.

    BLUE!!!!

Sorry about your problem. I don't know if this will work in your situation, and especially over such a large area of your body, but I used to work at a haunted house, and the fake blood stained everything it touched, even skin. We used nail polish remover, and noxema original. you could try it.

LOL! Well if you can't get it off right away it will wear off in a few days. No need to worry too much. But the noxema would probably help, and maybe a cloth soaked in baby oil.

OH .....Lol. I have had this only happen to me in my back area. If you really want it off, our skin sheds constantly, to help this shedding along, jump in the shower, use warm (as warm, almost hot) water on the stained parts to soften the skin.

Then use plain old salt mixed with any oil, and exfoiiate away! Your skin is stained, so doing this may help alot to take off the colour, or very little. It's safe, and it will remove the skin ready to come off. However Dyes from clothing can penetrate a tad deeper, second layer i heard. No harm done.

It will wear itself off, or you can help it along. But you need to exfoliate.

    Good luck!

Try an exfoliant...maybe a salt or sugar scrub?

Oh yeah, just be glad you were wearing a new blue tshirt, not a new pair of blue underwear. LOL

ROFLMAO! Okay.. I will share my "leprachaun story" then... I bought a very pretty dark emerald green bikini and it stained me... the G stained me so badly that I had to call in and not work for a day because I had this green line... and the same went for my breast area... I was sooooo embarrassed!

By the way... I used Noxema to take it off, but I was still a bit "green".. kinda hard when you've got clothing dye stain in your butt crack region!

this is right up there with fake-ass jewellery fading onto your skin! I like it. I think the smurf idea is very cute. You could probably make some dollars shakin' that funky blue tush too

Nah, just jestin'. Hope it fades soon.

Farrah: At least yours came off.. my emerald green line stayed faintly for about a week! I did the salt scrub too... it was the most halarious thing ever.. to this day, I stay away from dark deep colors and wash them first if I buy them.. Green boobs and a green butt crack... looked like I was sick or something!!!

Yikes Rascal. Sorry you're feeling um.. "blue". You can definitely work that smurf thing though. Hefty Smurf was all that.. lol..

The only time something like this has happened to me is when my ex-mother in law bought me some real cheapo socks, they were navy blue. And yep, by the end of the day, so were my feet.

I definitely agree with salt scrub mixed with oil. Sounds like a great idea.

    Good luck...

Monty: This happened about 9 years ago... it was pretty damn funny though, because it was right around St. Patty's day... I purchased the bikini top and the g string from a woman who sold clothes at the club I was working at.. and I was working in a full nude club at the time... I wore the set for about an hour and when it was my turn to go on stage, and time for me to strip it all off, a friend of mine took me aside after my set and said, "G-you are Green.. " sure enough, the dye stained me... I had a good laugh... (besides, it matched my red hair!!!) but, I have never again worn that deep emerald green color... I'm sure that now I'd be okay, as dyes have probably changed and I don't buy cheap stuff anymore.. but just a word to the newbies.. careful on the cheap stuff as it may turn you the same color!

LOL Rascal, work the smurf angle.....everybody, its Sexy Smurf!

OMG, now I think one of my childhood images has been forever ruined...ew. Its bad enough that I now think that the smurfs were habitual drug users (they lived in 'shroom houses, hello!) but images of naked dancing smurfs are begining to scare me.

On second thought, scrub it off!
