that set up is too simplified for me. i need more choices per question versus yes/no answers.

Think of the entire test as one question and the little yes/no parts are the multiple choices........ Just for fun anyway, I am INTP.... so I tend to indulge in these type of things.....

"INTP:...They are constantly asking themselves and others the questions 'Why?' and 'Why not?"

CASH, thanks for the pointer.... My brain hurts now from reading that long thread..... but it was fun

I'm an INFP. My little sister and I were talking about one of her freinds the other day and she was like "do you have to always do that??" I said what and she said "psychoanalyze people! You've been doing that since I was five years old!" LOL

My answer is in the original thread. Regardless, I consider myself an introvert as per one of the links that was posted in that thread...

My original post in that thread is on page 3.

I also liked the link that someone else posted in that thread: Caring for your introvert - The habits and needs of a little-understood group by Jonathan Rauch

The Myers-Briggs profile, the test that this is based on, is actually a much longer and much more serious test. In order to really interpret the results, answers are screened by a trained Myers-Briggs certified psychologist.

I have done this, and it is interesting what you can learn about yourself.

This is very interesting... it helps others understand me also. For example I sent the result to my manager and explain to her why I am so messy and can't meet deadlines....she doesn't make that an issue anymore since I make it up in other areas. I just have problems selling this to girls I date.....

Encourage me to spend time alone.

Don't talk too much or force an emotional conversation before I'm ready.

Try not to nag me about being messy or meeting deadlines.

I'm an INFJ, or a "guide". Which is pretty applicable, considering I want to be a social worker when I "grow up"..LoL.

I am INTJ. . .Introverted/Intuitive/Thinking/Judging. I am a smart persnickity bitch. i would like to think the Academy. . .

I thought this profile was pretty neat. I took psychology and sociology in high school and went apeshit. These are still my favorite subjects. MBTI is the most fun test.

last time i did that test it turned out different. but usually in terms of personality type and career quizzes it usually turns out "intuitive-caretaker-artist." which makes sense- i felt physical pain when my friend was killed at that exact time it happened, i love taking care of kids, i love art... i feed off of others' 9umm not exactly but i don't know what else to call it) emotions and react to them without trying, etc.

    I'm ENFP.

There are a suprisingly large number of introverts here who are nude (or partially nude) performers. I would have thought intoversion would be the people who would prefer the sideline to the limelight

I guess this just goes to prove we can be whatever we want to be, if we are determined.

Actually, I think that a lot of this has to do with trying to establish an overall balance in life - being very extroverted while working is balanced by being introverted in personal life ?

The whole introvert/extrovert thing has been past described fairly accurately, and it doesn't necessarily mean someone introverted prefers seclusion or isolation..

Extroverts are charged or gain power from high degress of social activity.. whereas the isolation and low peaks of social activity they find draining. They find themselves in almost withdrawal to get out and be around people if they spend large amount of times at home or in solitude.

Introverts, while they can enjoy performance and high degrees of social activity, it's draining to them and they require quiet times to recharge their batteries.

So it's really not the traditional sense of introversion/extroversion.. it's more of what causes one to charge vs. drained.
It doesn't matter if you're somebody in this world, it rather matters you mean the whole world to somebody.
