I am catholic and went to Catholic school all my life with the exception of college. I believe in Christ yes...
but I hope this is not one of those "how can you do that if you are a believer?" lol
I am catholic but not practicing much at ALL. (just holidays) lol
I've believed in God my whole life, but I'm going through the phase of "what if there is no God?" then I remember the verse in the Bible "only a fool says in his heart "there is no God" " and then I get a little creeped out. Baptist shcool girl here! I hope there is one!
No matter what they teach you, what you believe is true......
jenn I went through that feeling before... and even sometimes I question and doubt, but then theres always something that makes me believe that there is DEFINETELY something out there. It doesnt have to necessarily mean one religion is right, but I do feel there is a GOD.Hope I am right. lol

yes definitely a believer.
Seraya.
I went to Catholic School and yes I believe in christ - but I also believe in reincarnation and nature gods.... so I don't know how Catholic I am ???

Do you mean someone who was was walking around 0 B.C. whose name was Jesus or do you mean someone who threw all these miracles around and was the incarnation of God?
lexi i am a dancer too i would never judge you infact i aplaud you because true believers know that actions speak louder than words (here anyway) and we have the potential to let our actions teach "temptation"
JUST A THOUGHT
I have put this to the test and it is deffinately something you should try, it is really cool and it makes you feel really good, you will also see your dancing IMPROVE
and if anyone thinks that stripping (all though some cross the line) is a "sin" then tell them
"he without sin shall cast the first stone"
also a baptist school girl, and glad this isn't one of those repent repent repent posts
thanks for the responses i'd love to hear more
Do I believe that there was a rabbi named Jesus that lived around 0-32 AD? Definitely, yes. Do I believe that his teachings were right? Yes--they instill great morals and values in those who follow them. Do I believe he could perform miracles? Not sure, but I'm sure that the people around him (and he, himself) believed he could (and maybe belief is more powerful than fact--kinda like homeopathic remedies and stuff, ya know?). Do I believe he is God incarnate, that he was resurrected, and all that other stuff? Not real sure about that either.
I guess I have always just felt a connection with the man on a personal level. He has given me direction through his teachings and a face to talk to. If he wasn't the son of God, then I believe that God at least had great plans for him. I believe he is now in heaven and has power and influence there, much like a saint, at the very least. What does that make me? Not a part of any real institutionalized religion, that's for sure. I'm spiritual but I like to focus on earthly/human goodness and morality. You don't have to be a saint to be a good person. Strippers can be WONDERFUL people! It's all about how you treat the other people around you really. People who refrain from hurting others and contribute and participate in "the magnetic chain of humanity" (as Hawthorne would call it) are good people. If you follow what you truly believe to be right and good for you and those around you, then you are a good person and will go to heaven. I will now deem myself "A Good Person-ist". Anybody wanna join me?![]()
