I was just wondering, do any of you girls have a special workout for the inner arms and inner thighs, so that when you walk everything stays nice and put, and doesnt jiggle. im skinny, but I have very flabby arms, and wanted to know how I could fix it. ???

You could do bicep and tricep workouts to firm the muscle. WHile the muscle is developing, you will be burning more fat, BUT remember you cant "spot reduce" fat. So best bet is some cardio followed by arm workouts...

Hope your girls was more a general term, I don't like to butt in if not wanted. Used to be a power lifter.

Lexi hit it perfect. The two muscles that tighten your arms are your biceps and triceps. Your tricep has a larger effect on you under arm thou. In general most people have fairly developed bi's but very under developed tri's. All this really means is it will take a bit of work and time to get those tri's worked up, if you work them hard for 6+ months you will see some nice results and a lot less flab under your arms.

The two easiest exercises you can do at home to work out each is pushups and bench/chair dips. Pushups work both and dips work the tri's a lot more. I would recommend starting at 2 days a week with 3 sets of 6 reps and over time try to build up to 3-4 sets of 20 or so reps 3-4 days a week. Work till you struggle with the last rep, if its to easy increase your reps. If you goto a gym there are a bunch of machines and lifts that work these areas also.

You can do squats to help with your thights and butt. Also exercise/cardio is very important, to burn calories and tone all over.

One note- Don't worry about getting huge arms by doing these excerises. This will shape and tighten your arms, not turn you into the hulk.

Living an active lifestyle and good nutrition will slim down you flabby trouble spots. It takes time and patience--a watched pot never boils, so don't bother obsessing.

The arm exercises suggested will work but you must be consistent and challenge yourself. If you already do these you may need to seek professional advice.

If you were heavy at one time I think it is increasingly hard to slim down these spots. But if you really tone up other areas, like shoulders or butt you will look great anyway.

I HAVE to do my squats, I couldn't survive stripping without that muscle control. Running or lifting until you can't possibly go any longer is how you will really engage your muscles.

Cardio is always good for anyone, no matter what. But you mentioned being skinny, so working on muscle tone is probably what you're mainly after. Flounder's got great advice, but check out some books on weightlifting for women. "The Body Sculpting Bible for Women" is a good one in my opinion. Doesn't hurt to work the whole body, just put more emphasis on your trouble spots.

very impressive lexi... everyone seems to think that some gadget will make your unimpressive areas go away.
If you want to tighten your inner thigh area use the abductor and adductor machines. as a tip lean forward so your back doesn't touch the back rest (make sure to keep you back straight though). It will tight your inner and outer thigh and also give a nice kick to your medial glutes. You can also do your ab exercises on the ball and if done your correctly, it will engage your stabilizer in your legs and other places.
as for your arms, use a cable machine and a rope attachment. as you flex at the bottom, you will feel the inner side of the back of your arms tighten up. If you use moderate weight and high reps your arms wont get "big" but will give you that sexy tone that your looking for.
I'm not a personal trainer, but could be.
    Good luck

Pilates. I have found doing workouts that help me target the upper body, butt and thighs works for me.

Its totally effective...probably even more so if you work out all the time!!!

Incidentally, I also have a bit of extra arm/inner thigh....maybe its out Slavic, cold weather background La Femme??

There is only so much you can do against genetics unfortunately....I guess lipo will work since it removes the fat cells alltogether.....

If you are going to do weight training, then you need to do the whole body. No such thing as "spot training", and anyone who tells you that you can or should really needs to be shot.

I used to be a personal trainer, so please, please listen up. If you are wanting to weight train to tone up your arms, then you need to do weights for your shoulders, chest, and upper back. If you weight train those areas, then you need to train your lower back, abs, hams, glutes, quads, soleus, and calf muscles. They are all interconnected and by working out and strengthening some of them and leaving the rest alone, you will only get two results: Pain and increased injury.

Check out Body for life by Bill Phillips, or get the Body Sculpting Bible for Women.

Pilates does not target upper body, butt and thighs. It targets the Core/Powerhouse of your body. The rest of the body just gets toned because you are working them, but Pilates was founded on the idea that a strong Core/Powerhouse with concentrated breaths=a strong body and increased blood flow and strong cardiovascular system. Yoga and Pilates are both great workouts and can be done on a daily basis.
