    Default Best Areas/Clubs

Hi All! I keep hearing that Texas is about the best state to dance in, followed by Vegas! A friend of mine wants me to accompany her to Texas to dance... I'm in So. Cal right now so I assume most other places would be a step up. However, Vegas is close enough that I could always check it out easily and then return for a week or so at a time with almost no inconvenience. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Anyone love where they work? Thanks!

No offense intended, but you might need a "hearing aid". Dancing in Texas is now a mere shadow of its former greatness ! Dancing in Vegas is now hit and miss as well.

If you're in SoCal, try AZ. I've just moved to Phoenix and find there's good steady business here. Like Melonie said, Texas isn't even close to what it used to be. I wouldn't bother with that. Vegas also is way past its former glory days. Unfortunately the reputations of Texas and Vegas being great places to work will long outlive the reality.

Texas has a large number of clubs, and its easy to get hired, but harder to make lots of money, and lots of pressure by the locals and knowledgeable travellers, so its a pain in the ass!

I have danced in texas about 5 different times in the last 4 years. Each time telling myself that I just wasn't really on top of my game the last time I was there...but it never fails. I go to texas and do horribly! I have tried everything from the nicest clubs (The Mens Club in Dallas) to the worst clubs (Hardbodyz in Arlington) and it's always the same. I walk out feeling horrible and with very little money in my pocket.

It's not you ! Texas simply has been hit hard by the economic downturn, Enron etc. Texas strip clubs and customers are somewhat on edge because this formerly "bustproof" market has been the target of a few busts. Plus the persistent impression that dancing in Texas results in big dancer earnings potential draws more girls to Texas clubs than customer levels can actually support. I haven't bothered to dance in Texas for a couple of years now.

Agreed! And I will hand you extra batteries for that hearing aid so that you can hear me too. I'm a Las Vegas local and the dancing business isn't even a mere shadow of its former days. I never thought I would see the day where Las Vegans in straight blue collar service jobs would make just as much money, or more than Vegas dancers! :o
I absolutely love this city, but the dancing scene out here now sucks hardcore.

Manhattan clubs would be an easy drive for you. However, be forewarned that the better Manhattan clubs can be very picky in regard to the girls they hire, and that they also will make you go through an audition process plus wait several weeks between the time you audition and are 'hired' and the time you are allowed to schedule yourself into the club !

I did real well in Texas just a few years ago. Worked in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Was a lot of fun and a decent place to live.

As a customer, I agree with Slutty too. Vegas is not easy to make money anymore, everyone wants to go there and dance. Just look at the threads on here.

Canada has got a pretty good lineup of clubs also, there are alot of American girls taking advantage of the Ontario Clubs, Work permits are required but they can be worth it! I wish the US would allow Canadians to work in the US but we are allowed to dream!

P.S. There are no igloos just lots of cold men with cash looking for hot woman!

Stilettos Nanuet, the club that I usually go to had quite a large number of customers and it was a Sunday night. It seems that a few VIP rooms were being sold too because some dancers pretty much disappear after they went into the Lap Dance Room.
