Default Miss George decides to get a BA

Every night, there's some guy who says, "Never get implants! I lvoe your body just the way it is!" Quite frankly, I like it just the way it is as well. But since it looks like I'll be doing this until I'm out of school (which will be about 6 years), I've decided to go ahead and get 'em done. Because I think the fact is, I WILL make more money with them than without them. I'll still be a petite little girl, just one with bigger boobs. Nothing too big, maybe a large C at themost. SOmething that looks natural.

And after reading MermaidNZ's post, I'm thinking about having them done there. But there are so many things to think about... over or under the muscle, teardrop shaped, round, textured.... I will be doing much research, naturally (pardon the pun), but I'd like your suggestions.

I just turned 25, am 5'3" about 105 pounds (110 on a fat day), and a 34 small B. What do you girls think?

I have battled this decision myself and the only reason I go back and forth is because if I weren't dancing, I wouldn't still want them....so I think we're in the same boat there.

So I am looking at this purely from an investment point of view. Like any investment, you look at the risks vs. rewards.

Does it really make you more money? From what I read here, the confidence becomes a huge factor in increased income. From what I've read from you, you seem very comfortable in your skin (but maybe you feel you are a tad underweight, but keep it that way for the sake of dancing). So how much more will you make? How much business do you really think you're losing withh the Bs? How much do you hope to gain?

This is something I could not answer for myself. As far as I can tell, my earnings wouldn't increase at all. There are a few girls with implants at my club and I really hold my own against them. The risks are huge. They could look ugly (nothing worse than spending money on a bad boob job!), there could be a medical mishap, guys could be turned off to them, etc.

So with that said, I probably won't get them. I think if I were smaller or my boobs were saggier, I'd do it, but they are perfectly in proportion to my body and very nice if you ask me! I feel there will always be a strong market for NICE real boobs.

i have the same problem emily.. i have large c's natural. and they dont sag. . Some guys have to ask me if they are real.

I just had to add my 2 cents here...
I have met so many women who are not in the business that have gotten BAs. Everytime I would go to interview doctors I'd see ladies there who were secretaries, etc.
Most of them got their procedures financed. I was actually shocked home many everyday women are getting this done.
Personally I don't if I would've had the procedure if I wasn't in the industry.

Oh, and I'm also interested particularly in those who have had their surgeries done down south (I'm moving back to New Orleans soon). Anybody know any good surgeons down there?
I know of a few good Dr.s in Houston & San Antonio..Let me know if you want their numbers.

In Emily's post, she mentioned that the BA could turn out bad and that guys could be turned off by them. I have seen some atrocious-looking boob jobs, but no guys who were turned off by them. So yes, you can run the risk of a bad BA, but I don't think you could run the risk of them being a turn-off for the customers. Anyway, it sounds like you are in a difficult decision-making situation, so I will keep my mouth zipped on that. However, if you do want something that looks more natural, I think the teardrops are the best. I don't have implants, but from what I have seen, this shape looks most natural. A natural breast is in fact, teardrop-shaped. Speaking of cosmetic surgery, I just had my areolas reduced (more info on that under Areolas!) Yay. Good luck on whichever decision you make!

I work at a club in New Orleans and I have asked practically every girl there that has had a BA where she got it done. By far the best jobs are from Dr. Greunwald & Dr. Nasca in Baton Rouge. Dr. Nasca seems to be especially skilled. I decided not to get a BA, but if I ever change my mind, I will go to him.

If you care more about having a really nice pair of breasts, as opposed to just "big tits" go through a board certified reconstructive surgeon. I really think it's worth it to spend the $ and get EXACTLY what you want. I've wanted my boobs done for years. But, I want them to be perfect. So I'll wait til all the factors ($ and the right MD) come together. It sounds like you have nice natural boobs. Make sure they'll be just as nice when they're big!

And I would not recommend going outside the US, EU, or Canada. South American and southeast Asian countries are not held to the same medical standards. And you will have no recourse for malpractice.

I recommend, to ALL DANCERS CONSIDERING A BA, ask yourself this question: If my surgery ends up as the worst-case scenario, would it still have been worth it???
If they are lopsided, in your armpits, develop hardened scar tissue, leak (I know A LOT of girls whose saline implants have leaked! Even if they replace the implants for free, you generally still have to pay for the operating room and the doctor for his time), crease in the middle or underneath, or look just plain hideous... can you deal with that. Are you willing to undergo multiple surgeries and pay thousands and thousands of dollars for repairs??? Are you willing to pay to have them replaced every 5-10 years or pay up the ass to get them removed and have your muscle painstakingly sewed back into place???

I am not trying to discourage you. I just think that surgery is VERY serious, and the possible complications don't seem real until they happen to you. That said, I myself had my first boob job at 19. I was flat as a pancake until then and always felt unfeminine because of it. I felt like something was missing. For me, I would have suffered anything short of death for a larger chest. And I didn't go overboard in size. However, I did experience some complications later on through absolutely no fault of my high dollar Manhattan surgeon. I tried two other doctors, my last 2 surgeries being performed by my favorite, and a true cosmetic artist. I would settle for nothing less than the best, but it cost me a lot of time and money. In total, I have been through 4 surgeries and close to $30,000 for the rack I have today. And I still have a minor indentation at the base of my left nipple, though no one notices it except me. Oh and anesthesia and painkillers can make your hair thinner. Mine is just finally looking healthy again after 8 months.

It sounds, Miss George, from your postings as though you make good money with the pair you already have. If the only reason you are getting the BA is to make more cash, consider that in the long run you will probably end up spending more than you will additionally earn. Even without complications, implants have to be replaced every 5-10 years or completely removed. Please weigh your options again. This is a MAJOR decision; make sure you have seriously considered all the variables.

Actually, I don't consider my experience to have been bad at all. I just want everyone to understand that BA's can be a lot larger investment than you bargain for. Now I have smooth, round silicone gels which I love. They feel great and look awesome. I don't think first-time BA's qualify to get gels though. Whatever you do, don't get "high-profile" implants. There are several doctors in my area that use them so girls with smaller frames can get more cc's. All it does it make your tits stick out like torpedos. At least the dozen or so I've seen do...

I think my teardrops are similar to high profiles in that they project more than standard rounds. I love the projection!!!

Hmmmm, I think Sammy's point is a really good one. I've had my breast implants for 5 years now. I thought they improved my income substantially, but then again it's hard to say -- when I started out and didn't have the BA, I also didn't have much dancing/hustling experience. Now, I feel in order to quit dancing, I have to be sure to have enough in the bank to cover the expense of them deflating. It's a 30% risk after 5 years (15% for each breast). I don't plan on quitting today anyway, but it's sure gonna be an unexpected and unhappy expense when and if one does deflate!

How much money are you making in comparison to the other girls? If you are in the top 40%, I'd vote for not getting it done. Also, if you're great looking otherwise, I'd vote for not getting it done. I think small breasts look really classy (G. Paltrow, Kate Hudson, etc.) especially if you've got the slender figure to match.

When I first saw that you were getting a BA I thought you meant Bachelors in Archeology or something! lol

Unless you are sagging, it doesn't sound like you need them cause you are already very tiny.
I believe the girls with implants earn more money because of their confidence, not their chest.

Every time I am tempted at this I remember that 5000 dollars can go a long way for building a future for myself. But it is your body and you can do whatever you want, just give the decision some time.

Well, when u get a ba there r consequences. I paid alot for mine, and went with a prestigous dr. in beverly hills, but I still had complications with mine. And you end up having to spend more and more money to fix these complicatons. And when they deflate, you r going to have to pay again. I would say it's only worth gettin it done if you feel realy self-conssious about your breasts, like if one is a lot bigger than the other, or if you barely have anything, or if they r realy saggy. Otherwise, it's just a hasstle. Having to worry if they r going to leak an stuff, I don't know if it is worth it. But then again, we r all different. I still have to get 1 of mine fixed, but I can put up with it, so it just depends on wether u will b ready to go through this if it does happen. Even tho I have had probs with mine, I am still happy I got them beacuase I was realy flat-chested and hated it. So, if it makes u happier, go for it.

Farrah, please do let me know about those doctors.

Dr. Cooper in Houston is very good..I have had a few friends go to him. Dr. Wexler did mine, he is also in Houston .
Then there is Dr. Young in Austin another really good doctor.
    I'll post the numbers later..

In New Orleans, Dr. Metzner is excellent. I've never seen a bad job of his of the half dozen dancers I've met who've gone to him. He goes in through the armpit and costs about $5K.

I had mine done by Dr. Feagin in Dothan, AL for $2,900. All the work if his that I had seen previously was great too, but he goes in through the areola and apparently I do not scar well. You can't see it in club lighting, especially with makeup, but it's only been about 7 months since my BA and scarring takes at least a year to fade. Feel free to PM me about info on either docs.

I got a lot of "never get your boobs done" comments, but I'm glad I did it. I was also a small B and went to a C cup so they look fairly natural. I get a few more single dances that I used to, especially with younger guys but I was doing well before them. I think they also helped my confidence a bit on certain nights, like when the crowd was kind of big and intimidated me.

Make the most informed decision you can for yourself, and best of luck!

Congratulations on getting new boobies, Miss George!

I don't have implants, so I don't have any advice to offer. But I hope your surgery goes well. Let us know how it goes afterwards. Good luck to you!
