    Default leg workout help!

    I have a problem area that maybe you guys can help me with:

    My abs, back, arms all look really good. I am not dancing yet I have about 30 more pounds to lose to be stage ready.

    But my legs need alot of work. I do squats, lunges and I even started doing the step master thing at my gym what else can i do to target my inner thighs?

    hi there

    here is an excellent squat routine that really burns.. not your usual and im seeing results..only takes about 5 min and alot of fun
    Jungle Boogie butt is what its called

    To the Pulp Fiction song jungle Boogie

    Do 32 squats
    Do 32 one legged squats
    Do 32 one legged squats on other leg
    Do 8 squats .. 1 count down .. 3 counts up
    Do 8 squats .. 3 counts down..1 count up
    Do 8 normal squats

    the song has ussually long ended for me by now because im too slow
    you are supposed to end by doing walking lunges to the end of the song

    really good

    Sounds like you are doing the right things, maybe increase your workout. Shopgals workout seems solid. Do walking lunges if you are not already.

    If you goto the gym they usually have a machine or two that work the thights, working those hard will prolly help too.

    Keep at it.

    THANKS YOU GUYS FOR ALL YOUR GREAT WORKOUT TIPS. I WROTE IT DOWN AND WILL BE DOING IT TODAY.

    Yeah my arms are going down so should i lift light weights on them? i don't want huge arms. My abs and waist line are all shrinking i was a 39 in the waist and now i am 31 so its getting there.

    It sounds like you are doing extremely well! Congrats!!

    Ummm...just do at least 30 minutes of cardio 3x's per week and watch the foods that you are eating. I highly suggest the Body-for-Life workout and the Eating-For-Life foods (websites are: http://www.bodyforlife.com and http://www.eatingforlife.com).

    If you want that toned look, you will definitely get that from weights, however, don't worry about getting "big". For a woman, you would have to lift extremely heavy weights at high reps and do some juicing. Since that is not the look that you are going for, just doing a weight routine will help tighten your body and don't forget that the more Lean Body Mass you have, the faster your body will burn the excess fat!!

    You will NEVER get huge arms unless you "juice" OR if you are picking up enormous weight. And even still....
    If you can handle 15 lb dumbells for sets of 8-12 then you are building. If you can handle the same weight but can do 30 reps, then you are burning and leaning out your muscle.
    So if you want to lean your arms out, do a moderate weight, with your reps being between 12-15.
