    Default Vegas hotspots

I will be in Vegas at the end of the month and I need to know where the hot spots are.
I have heard about Studio 54 at the MGM and there is another club at the Stratosphere. Are there any others I should check out ?

    Thanks everyone

I'm not much of a clubber..but my friends are. They all think that Studio 54 sucks. I guess alot of older people go there. Supposedly Tom Jones hangs out there. Lol.
I heard the Rum Jungle in the Mandalay Bay is good. Everyone's fav seems to be Drai's in the Barbary Coast. It all depends on what night you go out. Different clubs have theme nights. Pick up a City Life paper when you get here. It has all sorts of club info in it. Hope that helps.

Lots of folks were talking about Ra and Club Rio two weeks ago when I was in Vegas. The Beach in vegas was always a lot of fun too but it's been two years since I have been there. Good luck and wish I could have helped more, not much of a clubber these days.

Try Rain at The Palms or Baby's at the Hard Rock, those places are fun, they get a bit crowded though. I've also had a good time at Coyote Ugly at New York New York.

I think the MGM's got a new club besides Studio 54 too now that's doing good business although I haven't been there and I don't know the name. Also have never heard of a good club at the Stratosphere and I stay there quite often.

All the young people are at Baby's in the Hard Rock. Mandalay Bay also has a younger crowd, especially if they have a concert @ House of Blues. Rum Jungle is ok, beautiful club, but the crowd is so, so.

I really like to start my night at the Shadow Lounge in Caesar's where I always stay. The bartenders are all sweethearts and do tricks with drinks.

I like to go to the Spearmint Rhino to see the pretty nekid dancing ladies.

C2k @ The Venetian and the club at the Rio are not recommended, nothing special in my opinion.

I also heard that the Palms is really hopping since they filmed the Real World there, lots of beautiful people.

I also heard that Drai's after hours is THE place to be, and that the locals go there as well.....

    Good luck mami!!!!

The Rio isnt bad, nothing special but the view is spectacular and if you have the right company who cares where you are. Rum Jungle can be hit or miss. Thought Coyote Ugly was a waste of time.

Coyote Ugly is a sausage fest. It is only a bunch of guys that go there. The staff at that club encourages the girls who do come in to take off their bras, but often the few girls who do show up are not the ones you want to see go braless or topless. Every guy I know that has been there has left sorely disappointed. Did I mention that the staff is really rude too?

Ra, Club Rio, Rain, Studio 54 are ok. Drais for afterhours. Rum Jungle is open everynight, but can be hit or miss...you could have the entire place to yourself or it could be jam packed.

My personal year round favorite is the Beach. Its been around forever, its open 24 hours, and all the locals go there (especially when the tourists in town are being exceptionally lame).

I'm a big fan of the clubs at the Palms. Rain is awesome and the Ghost Bar is a fun club that's a bit more mellow. Ra is good too, as is Drai's After Hours if you want something a bit more classy. If you want something more casual, The Beach is fun but nothing special.

I didn't like Club Rio. The VooDoo Lounge on the top floor is much more my cup of tea. Smaller, intimate, live music and a dazzling view of the strip.

I heard Baby's at the Hard Rock is closed for renovation till May something. Not sure though...so you might want to check it out, but I wouldn't go out of my way.

The Light at the Bellagio is the best to me. I enjoyed it b/c its not all weird, snotty and phony like a lot of Vegas clubs are. Celebs and beautiful people hang out there, but it has an overall nice atmosphere of just all types of people that you can have a nice time with and feel comfortable not just the whos whos. The bartenders also go the extra mile if you're nice and patient instead of yelling. You'll end up with some of the best drinks you've ever had.

Ghost bar, fun but beware of all the young 'uns hanging out relieving stuff they saw on real world or just generally making asses of themselves to the chargrin of most people above the age of 25 who are not amused or pleased by all the 21 yr old kids who get drunk quick and start crap. It still all depends on the nite. It is a different place since it was on real world which is sometimes good and bad.

Any of the places named in this thread should be busy on Sat or Sunday night. Light at the Bellagio is one of my favorites. I also like the Voodoo lounge, but it's a mixed crowd--some young, some older, but that's my style. As Sapphire stated, the view is incredible.

I agree with those that said that the Palms is a good place to go! Ghost Bar is a great bar/club, if you can get in, and of course Skin Pool Lounge and club Rain is great to! to bad that you are not going at the end of May, that way you can go to Club Rubbers anual Summer Of Love Party, this year it is going to be in Vegas at the new Orleans Arena where they had last years anual Pimp N Ho party, those are 2 parties not to miss! i have attached pics. . .
I may look intimidating, but those that really know me, know me and can count on me as a friend.

And for those that are ever in the San Jose area and need somebody to go shoe shopping with you, I am your man for the day!
