Default Foundation???

Hey grls! This question was probably brought up plenty of times in this forum but I was just wondering what everyone thinks is the best foundation? I need one that has great coverage, easy to blend/non cakey looking, doesn't feel very heavey, non oily, and looks natural. I know that is quite a criteria but foundation can be so expensive and i'm on a budget so trying every one out there is not an option I just need to know which one you grls think is best so I can stick to it. I heard Alexis Vogel and MAC have some good ones, so can you grls help me out?

MAC!! Try their Studio Fix or Tech. Very easy to blend with nice natural looking coverage. During my monthly breakouts I go for the Dermablend. That stuff can cover tattoos. It's a little heavier though.

MAC all the way for me.... I use studio fix, tech is good if you want heavier coverage. they also have some other types of foundations.

Try Wei East at HSN.com

They have natural make up.
IT's new. And her skin care products are great.

I agree with MAC! Both the Mac "Hyper" foundation and the "perfect finsh" work really well.

Almay Skin Stays Clean Liquid, at your local drugstore for $7-$10. Thick enough to last all night and has a cover-up effect too. The skin color matching is fantastic...bestselling product.

I've used Revlon's Colorstay Makeup for years. It lasts for a long time, provides good coverage, and still looks natural. Seriously, I never go out without it on but NO ONE thinks I wear makeup.

Has anybody tried Lancome's Tient Idole? I heard some good things about it, I'm wondering if it's worth the price.

oh wait.. that might be something else from lancome.. if its not the foundation for aged skin, its one of the ones that i have tried.

and it would have moderate to full coverage.. Too much coverage for me!

MAC breaks me out something awful (apparently I am a freak here, tho). Ones I've liked are the Prescriptive Virtual skin (not virtual light or whatever its's called), Smashbox liquid foundation, Urban Decay's surreal skin (applied with a light hand and if you are lucky enough for a match - longest lasting) and surprisingly, the L'oreal Perfect match mixed with a smidge of the Revlon Skinlights lotion for a *glow*. Another girl I work with swears by Nars.

Be careful of the ones with too much "virtual light" reflective stuff (especially the Prescriptives). Those "light reflecting" particles sometimes glow under black lights. Estee Lauder products often glow as well and that includes their skin treatments. Revlon colorstay (which is heavy anyway) is purple under black light! The Nars foundations stay color true better than any other.
