Hey all! A friend told me about this board, and I have been lurking here for a few weeks. WOW! It has really been educational and entertaining...I wish every person that had a negative image of dancers could come here and read some of these posts. You all seem like very savvy businesswomen that know how to make money!
One thing I've liked about reading is how many things make sense now that I hear dancers talking about it. I have always gone to strip clubs...beginning with my "tour" of the OKC clubs when I turned 21 and a group of guy friends took me.
My most recent experience was with my husband in Las Vegas...one night after hours of drunken gambling, we went to Glitter Gulch on Freemont Street with some money we won burning a hole in our pocket. It was pretty dead, and the first 30 minutes NO ONE came over to talk to us. Eventually though, there were about 5 girls at our table, every one that walked up even cuter than the last! My husband and I had decided we would each pick a girl to have a couple of dances with...and it was sooo hard to decide! But you know, what I've read here makes sense now...I ended picking the last girl I thought I would. She was very tomboyish, in a wife beater, and VERY short hair...not even close to the prettiest one there. (But not ugly, either!) In the end, I picked her because she was aggressive, and I think women tend to be a little shy in this environment. Needless to say, by the end of the dance, she had my shirt pulled down off my shoulders...and I ended up with 5 dances in a row! (I'm not bi...but it was different and she made it so much fun!)
By the time we left at closing, we had spent $300 on this one girl in shots and dances, and she made our night in Vegas so memorable, just by being friendly and funny! I'm sure she's not there anymore, but dh and I agreed that when we got back, we'll go to Glitter Gulch and try to see her again!
Just thought I'd share a woman's perspective! You guys keep having fun and making money!
Amaya
