I think you look great. You are definitely curvy, but consider that one of your assets instead of one of your faults. You are in good proportions. Guys will go crazy over your breasts.

I think you look absolutly beautiful. You are not chubby at all. You have the kind of body men go nuts over!!

lets be realistic. Men love thin women, at least I do. You do look great now, but you would look amazing if you lost 20 pounds.
Ryan, just shut up already! If this girl lost 20 pounds she would probably stop menstruating!
Mr. Health Nazi should know that thin doesn't always = healthy. I've met women who live off of coffee/cigarettes/cocaine and look great, but you know they're killing themselves slowly. I also know women who eat a healthful moderate diet, exercise regularly and are a size 12 (which I know isn't fat, but it's not skinny either) but are also toned, strong and healthy.
Digital, you are proportionate and you have curves where they count. Your tummy is not fat, but I've always though women with 6-packs are a bit creepy. If you are healthy too, then you are golden!
Plus your face is stunning!

Don't listen to that last comment. I think you look AWESOME! You are no where need in the fat girl mode. Your body is very curvy and there should be more like you out there!
Everyone is entitle to there own thoughts but you look great and you will make great money!
Love Yourself Like Nobody Else Could Then you will have that everlasting love we all search for!

OH AND I LOVE THE HAT SHOT! VERY CUTE! I AM NOT GAY OR ANYTHING BUT CAN TELL ANOTHER WOMEN WHEN THEY ARE PRETTY AND LOOK GOOD AND I LOVE THAT HAT YOU LOOKED LIKE CATHRINE ZETA JONES IN THAT PHOTO!
AND, dancing will help your problem areas but get on stage and get paid for working out LOL!
Honey
Love Yourself Like Nobody Else Could Then you will have that everlasting love we all search for!
Nooooooo!!!!!! Do you know just how much 20 pounds is? Plus, muscle weighs more than fat, as Ryan could surely tell you. And tanning can lead to skin cancer, which Ryan apparently doesn't know, judging from his radiant tanning-bed overtime glow.Originally Posted by DigitalLove link=board=5;threadid=8133;start=msg94526#msg94526 date=1081555013
If you want to be a little more fit and toned, do some cardio and weights, and cut out some fatty/sugary stuff from your diet. I dropped a dress size just by cutting out sweetened drinks including many juices, sodas and Snapple (pretty much anything with high fructose corn syrup). I loooove drinking Propel now. It hydrates me, tastes yummy AND had almost no calories. And don't weigh yourself or you will drive yourself nuts!

i don't use tanning beds, I live in South Florida. BTW, the sun IS NOT what causes skin cancer. Skin cancer is caused by the sun "cooking" toxins in the body, specifically toxins in the fatty layer just below the epodermis, attempting to escape through the swaet glands. If the body contains no, or a small amount of toxins, no skin cancer will be produced. In fact, cancar CANNOT be produced in an oxygen righ, alkaline body. Only oxygen poor, acidic bodies are suceptible to skin, and all other cancers.
Humans have been exposed to the sun since day one. With the advent of housing and clothing we are exposed th less sun than ever, yet skin cancer has only been a problem since the 1940's, the same time many synthetic chemicals and poisons were introdecued into the human body. THE WIDESPREAD USE OF SUNSCREENS MAY ACTUALLY BE THE CAUSE OF MANY SKIN CANCERS. The sun is not te cluprit, in fact NOT spending time out in the sun is the problem for most. Vitamin D deficiency is affecting 95% of the popualtion, we manufacture vitamin d from the sun. Spending time in the sun is absolutely essential and is known to prevent depression.
Many of my views may be anti-doctor advice and anti-pharmaceutical companies advice, but like they say "the truth is often stranger than fiction". If the human body was not designed for a large amounf of sun, we would be hairy, and protected like many mammals. We are the only mammal that cannot manufacture our own vitamin D in sufficient quantities. WE NEED THE SUN, lots of it. Why do we vacation where it is warm and sunny? Because we subconscously know that the sun satisfies us and makes us feel good. Why are people on islands much happier than people in cold climates? Because the sun makes us happier and more content.
Many doctors are rethinking their views on sunshine. Please take the time to read these short articles to see the facts and fantasies about sun or our skin....

BTW, the reason I moved to south Florida was for the fact that florida has an insane amount of sunshine (over 300 sunny days a year) AND I can grow a wide variety of organic fruits and veggies right in my yard.
As I said before, I think the woman who started this thread looks great, she is beautiful. HOWEVER, in my opinion, and that's all it is people MY OPINION, she would look stunning if she lost 20 pounds! Even she agrees! This is only my opinion! CHILL OUT LADIES. I am not going to be ashamed to share my opinion if opinions are requested.

Your breast are amazing. I don't carry weight well at all, but you look awesome! After a baby I have a bit of a stomach as well. It really bugged me because it hung down for a while, but I did some ab work and now i don't mind my pooch.
Those who bring sunshine into lives of others, cannot keep it from themselves.
Digital, I think you look great. You will not be considered a chubby chick, by any means, but as emily mentioned you are definetely curvy. Thats sexy.
Nina, I think 20 lbs would be too much for her to lose, but I dont think it will cause her to stop menstruating.I think you need to be veeeerrry low (like an anorexic) to stop menstruating. heheh
Digital, work it, sexy!![]()
Just ramp up on the excersice, diet, and tanning for a couple of weeks, which will tone you out. You are still defined, just increase the muscles so that the definition is more prominant. If you don't think your body is hot, it will affect your earnings because confidence is important.
Of course I used to work with a girl that was very thin and pretty and always got pity dances by coming up to guys asking if they wanted a dance from a "fat, ugly girl" ???

I also think curves are HOT--- skinny chix freak me out - I always think they are sick or have mental issues.
I love women that LOOK like women, not toothpicks with implants oh god that shit freaks me out I abhor that look!
But you do not fit in the big catagory you DO fit in the hottie catagory and you arent aneroxic THANK GOD.

Never explain yourself to anyone, because the person who likes you doesn't need it and the person that dislikes you won't believe it.
DL your body is entirely within the apparent healty-normal range. A few pounds more or less and you would be still in that range.
And RYAN is off base on the solar issue. What causes skin cancer is damage to the cells caused by burning damaging the cells internally. As long as you limit the exposure so there is no burn the sun is healthy as he notes.
Since Ryan was not around in the 1950's he is not aware that culturally having a sun tan in the period before the mid 1950's was treated as a social stigma because people with tans looked like they worked outdoors, i.e. were hicks and rednecks. The end social stigma of having not pale legs dates to the introduction of nylons which came in one color only-tan. It became considered a luxury item because of it not being available during WWII (used for parachutes). Along with irradiating tonsils having a healthy glow to skin was a stupid medical fad of the 40's/50's. Look at a picture of a picnic from the 1920's or watch The Great Gatsby==all the women were wearing big floppy hats so they did not "look like farm hands".

I know you asked for opinions from other dancers, so I hope you wont think I'm overstepping my bounds a bit... but:Originally Posted by DigitalLove link=board=5;threadid=8133;start=msg94488#msg94488 date=1081548999
Yes, you do fit the "bigger girl mold"- and you always will. You have broader shoulders, a thicker ribcage and larger pelvic region. Celebrate your assets as you're an absolutely dead-sexy bigger-girl. You look perfect for your build- and nowhere near "chubby" or "fat" for this kind of frame. Curves accentuate that frame tremendously- losing them could reduce the image. Your hips, thighs and tummy are definately WAY "wet dream" and drool material for guys.
Honestly, I'm spoiled by lots of 9's and 10's women at the local clubs here. Super modelesque, tall, short, toned with rock solid abs, smaller builds, wider builds. You fall into the 9-10 category EASILY for your build/body type, so I think it would be absolutely tragic if you tried to force your build narrower/less curvy to try and get into a different mold.
If losing a couple pounds will help your self-confidence, by all means go for it. I don't think it will have much effect on your incredible appeal though, unless you go too far which I believe would adversely effect it. 20lbs is lunacy, in my opinion.
Absolutely you will. As do the 5'5, 99lb women here about being too twiggy.. or the 5'7, 110lb women about being "wide hipped" or whatnot. There are no shortage of fuckwads in the stripclubs (in the form of customers and co-workers), but realize no matter what you do- you'd never appeal to them. The misogynist hyper-critics, whiners and complainers aren't the types that spend much money anyways, so be thankful you don't apply to them.Originally Posted by DigitalLove link=board=5;threadid=8133;start=msg94491#msg94491 date=1081549290
Oh, and stay away from San Francisco.. the bigger-girls here would likely have you petitioned and outted from taking away all their biz.
It doesn't matter if you're somebody in this world, it rather matters you mean the whole world to somebody.

DigitalLove, you look amazing. You are definitely not chubby. You have curves in the right places. I agree that losing 20 pounds would be too much. Personally, I don't think you need to lose any weight. If you do decide to lose weight, I would only lose 5 pounds or so. Your stomach could be a bit more toned, but doing stomach crunches as well as the exercise you get from dancing will easily take care of that.
There is a HUGE difference between being curvy and being fat. For example, Anna Nicole Smith was curvy when she was Playboy Playmate of the Month in the early 90's and fat on the Anna Nicole Smith show. She is looking good again thanks to Trimspa.
And Ryan, not all guys like thin women. A lot of guys prefer curvy girls to thin ones. I always make more money than the super skinny girls at my club. I'm 5'4" and 135 pounds, which sounds like too much for my height, but most people guess my weight at 120 or so because I have a lot of muscle tone and natural 36C boobs. Muscle weighs more than fat, so a girl with a lot of muscle tone might weigh more, but she will look leaner.
You look great, DigitalLove. Go make some money, you hottie!![]()
I just love the cutie smiley, it is one of my favorite smilies.![]()
You look great.. Im not skinny at all *well im skinny but im not a twig*.. im curvy and my curves make me moola! Yours will make you the money too. Dont get rid of them!

Well I pretty much agree with everyone except Ryan.So i Wont say much I just wanted to tell you that you are Beautiful.Goodluck making tons of money.

Ryan, I usually agree with a lot of what you say, but this time you are really talking out of your ass. Ever heard of the ozone layer? Or its deterioration? The amount of rays we are being exposed to is NOT the same amount we were thousands, or even hundreds, of years ago.Originally Posted by RYAN link=board=5;threadid=8133;start=msg94546#msg94546 date=1081560127
Sorry to get off-topic, ladies. Digital, you are gorgeous! Yes, curvy, but nowhere near fat. And what a face! Beautiful.
uh, no...you'd fit into the 'sexy mothafucka' category
Feature costumes for sale!
first off, DL you are very pretty, I have seen some chubby girls, I have even seen an obease girl on a porn site... but you are curvy, like me, thats a good thing, a lot of guys like that, my husband is one of them, he can't stand little, thin girls, he is afraid he would break them..... and I have to agree with honey, that hat pic is hot (and I am gay, well bi, whatever...) yum.
its the 40th parallel thats mostly the problem... in the states this goes through philly pa, boulder co, and columbus oh. (I used to live in cols). people above the 40th parallel tend to get more depressed then the people who live below it. this can actually be caused by the lack of vitamin D.Originally Posted by RYAN link=board=5;threadid=8133;start=msg94546#msg94546 date=1081560127

we can make enough vitamin D with just a few min of sun a day. I moved to fl because it was warm, and I was in jax. I only saw the sun going to and from the car on the way to work, not leaveing work because it was dark by then. I occasinally would go outside on the weekends. It was the happiest winter I have ever seen. But I still don't have a tan. Infact I glow in blacklight.Originally Posted by RYAN link=board=5;threadid=8133;start=msg94546#msg94546 date=1081560127
also what about people who go on ski trips for vacation?
I agree with anti-doctor though, be your own doctor! you know your body better then anyone. although I still go for some things, like my breast reduction, pap smears/bc, and the dentist.... but I didnt take thier reccomendation for my dysplasia, and I didnt take the pills they gave me for the colposcopy....
true.Originally Posted by montythegeek link=board=5;threadid=8133;start=msg94580#msg94580 date=1081566428
exactly. victorian women were as pale as I am, if not more so. they had big hats, parasols, and even white powder to look paler. I belive there also may have been a stigma aginst being dark skinned, because of some veiws of the day...Originally Posted by montythegeek link=board=5;threadid=8133;start=msg94580#msg94580 date=1081566428
.....
You look great.

Has anyone ever told you you resemble Valerie Bertinelli? I think so. She's gorgeous. You will fit in the bigger category, but so did the Marilyn Monroesque hottie that cleaned up at the last club I worked at. She had the most ld's every night, totally mauling all of our skinny asses. Don't knock it til you've tried it. Get out there and do it! If it doesn't work, or if you would feel better, lose a few pounds.
Ryan, skin cancer, if not caused by a carcinogenic substance, is from UV radiation screwing up DNA replication in skin cells. Sunlight does contain UV radiation, tanning beds use a higher amount of radiation. Basically, UV light can cause the bonds between two thymine nitrogenous bases to break away from the rest of the DNA seqeunce and form their own strong bond, a dimer. These are BAD. DNA polymerase doesn't know how to read this, and sometimes omits the thymines, pair it with only one adenine instead of two, or just throws in a completely off cytosine or guanine. This happens when your cells are dividing and replacing themselves, which can result cells that lack the natural inclination to stop replicating when there isn't a need - ie, cancerous cells. And thus, UV reactant tattoos, shoes, etc. only showcase where you are additionally getting the chance of skin cancer from. woo.
And because this was not the original point of the thread:
Babe, I think you look quite good. You might have guys that don't like it, but then you just showcase your ability to lick your own nipple - that tends to distract them. I can't anymore. *snif* Stupid veganness. I didn't like losing the weight I had.
Anyway! My point, if you feel better when you have less weight, by all means. Lemme suggest yoga or something that doesn't 'pack on' muscle. We have one girl at our club who is strong as hell, should probably just become a bouncer, but she admits she didn't get any training so retained all the fat and was majorly unhappy.
