I with out a doubt prefer men who are circumsized. It's not how it looks that makes the difference to me (I think either usually looks fine). But I have noticed a big difference in taste and smell between the two types. No matter how clean an uncircumsized man thinks he is, it's never as sanitary as the circumsized guys. You pull back that skin and sometimes even find hair or lint in there. I am now married to an uncircumsized guy and he's quick to throw out the defense that he can "feel more" than the circumsized guys can. However, no matter what I read on the subject, that always seems to be labeled a myth by docters. When I have my son, he will be circumsized.

I haven't been with both (only cut), but I THINK I'd prefer cut. I guess I'm just used to it. And no, I don't think uncut guys are dirty....just something I'm not used to. Also, a weird statistic I heard (from that old call in sex show on MTV--can't remember the name--the one with Dr. Drew--might not be current info now but...) that there is a certain kind of cancer that, statistically speaking, mind you, is linked to UNcut guys. That's why the doctor on the show had his twin boys cut. He said that there was no data (or maybe it was just fewer cases, I don't remember) for a certain type of cancer in circumcised men. Hmmm....wonder if I can find the info on google.....

well....nothing yet on the cancer issue, but I found a few pages saying it might help curb the transmission of AIDS/HIV....

Its penis cancer and its as rare as rocking horse shit. From what I recall, they used to think it was linked to foreskin, but don't any more. And I believe that the HIV transmission thing is extremely tenuous too.

oh yeah Squiggles, I agree that the AIDS thing is pretty much BS....the articles I was reading actually concluded it had to do more with the moral/religious/cultural aspects of the circumcised male's life, not the actual circumcision itself, that lead to lower risk of AIDS....I just mentioned it cuz I found some articles, that's all.

I've been with both. I find that the cut guys last longer, which leads me to believe the "uncut guys are more sensitive" thing. However, if I'm going to bed with a guy, I don't want it to be over in 30 seconds! That used to happen to me all the time with one of the uncut guys I was with.

I've also found that even uncut guys who do take pains with their hygiene are just not as clean as cut guys.

Ami--while I respect your belief, circumcision is a bit different than ear piercing. My current boyfriend was not circumcised at birth, but when he reached age 12, his mother decided that he and his brother should be cut. He said it was terrifically painful--the healing process was really bad because, as a guy going through puberty, he kept getting erections which would mess up the stitches. That would not have been a problem if he had been an infant. Infants also don't (I think?) get the urge to masturbate.

He hadn't had any problem with sensitivity before that, but now he can feel very very little. Most cut guys I've been with haven't had that problem because they've never really known what it was like to have a foreskin.

To make a long story short, if you don't circumcize kids at birth, it is highly unlikely that they will ever undertake the operation themselves, even if they do wish they were cut.

Addressing one or two of your points.Even very young children get erections and fiddle about with themselves out of curiousity. Also,if you think about it,circumcise a baby and what surrounds that open wound most of the time?Urine and faeces.Hardly the best situation for a hopefully healing wound.Another thing that many people don't know about the newborn's penis is that at birth, the foreskin is stuck to the glans and remains so for years in most cases. It gradually seperates itself over time. Before the baby is snipped, the doctor or whoever does the procedure has to break the skin from the glans, which can actually tear pieces from the head of the penis.

As far as not lasting very long is concerned,I am uncircumcised and can vary from lasting the aforementioned 30 seconds to hammering away until my wife and I are both sore. Its just one of those things. And while I can appreciate you girls not wanting to be short changed, you'd all be very unhappy if we men said we wanted you all to get your labia cut back because it decreased our pleasure.

I'm cut and I'm glad. no reason really, I'm just real tight w/my dick and I've come accustomed to it. I know this isn't the idea behind the thread but what about wearing a condom? doesn't it roll up in the foreskin? That shit seems like it would f'n hurt.
Squiggles, it sounds like you are getting your feelings hurt about this. This is strictly a cultural thing that you never really had any control over.
The whole idea behind circumcision was to keep us horny bastards from jacking off while we cleaned our dicks.

My mom was in love with her Jewish gynecologist and he convinced her to whack my stack LOL Since then Ive heard rumors that I was shortchanged but at this point I dont know the difference. I'll just roll on down the road with what I have.

My son didn't even cry when he had his in the hospital. He was a little drugged from the leftovers from my system. But still he didn't mind a bit.
