    Default Around Australia....

I am planning on becoming a travelling stripper with my home base being the Gold Coast.

If you have any information and/or questions about the various strip clubs in Australia... please do not hesitate to post.

I personally will be posting about my experiences at each of the clubs I work. You can also find out more (of course) about each club I've personally worked within the Australia section here

Bon Voyage ! Happy travels everyone !

    Default Re:Around Australia....

I'm back from Cairns until Sunday 18th when I head off to Melbourne to try out 'the scene' down there.

Cairns was wet. It rained each and every day I was there .. on and off throughout each day. Then again, it *is* the wet season for us right now and well... Townsville and anything above it experiences the 'wet season' more than we do here on the Coast. Granted, it is thanks to the rain that they had nice tempreatures during the day and it wasn't that humid. It is because it is the 'wet season' that this is traditionally the slow season in Cairns in re: stripping. I did a double negative whammy.... besides turning up during the wet season... I also turned up when it is Easter. Well... traditionally due to Good Friday and the fact it is Easter itself... it is slow.

Before I continue and tell you about each shift.. I will explain a few things about 'The Club'.

'The Club' is the ONLY strip club in Cairns. There used to exist two others however they have since been shut down. Also, the 3am 'lock in' only applies to Friday and Saturday nights. Otherwise, it will shut at 3am on Sunday thru to Thursday (it will close earlier if it isn't viable to stay open). It usually opens around 8.30pm. Cairns has had the 3am restriction since Dec 2002. 'The Club' is a non-touching (no touching) club. Lap dances are done in a separate area/room. This area/room has 4-5 individual seats lined up along each wall with seats in front of those seats. The customer is to sit down in the seat against the wall and the dancer can use the other seat for dancing. No grinding is allowed, we are only allowed to sit on the customer's leg in a dance when we are fully clothed, dancer can touch the customer but not with her breasts/body only with her hands, no straddling (one foot on floor), no knee in the groin (or similiar moves).

Stage: Tipping dollars ($5 each) are available but not compulsory to use. Dancers leave all clothes on until someone has tipped the min. $20 for a topless 'from the stage' mini lap dance. We can come off the stage once tipped $20 and dance for the customer in front of him. Also, the punters are allowed to tip a dancer when she is 'on stage' $30 for a full nude mini lap dance. Both mini lap dances are to last for one song. Then most dancers will re-dress themselves and dance 'fully clothed' until they are tipped again. The stage itself is rather large compared to Players. It has three poles: the ones at the sides are thicker and more used to lean against than pole tricks; the middle one is thinner and revolving hence can easily be used for pole tricks.

When I return to that club I will bring with me two items: a rug (you're allowed to have and use them on stage and in lap dances) as that damn stage 'floor' is hard ! and a spray bottle filled with metho... unlike Players the dancers don't wipe down the middle pole and hence it can/does become slippery at times.

Lap dances: As I've already mentioned, they are no touching. At first I felt wierd since I've come from a pretty full on touching environment of Players to a no touching environment. At the end of my first shift (Thursday), I felt I had it down and found myself actually enjoy-ing giving lap dances... tho' I did miss certain bits of a touching environment (such as my boobs/body being able to have contact with the customer's body... great for those customers who like hugs..). Prices... here is the good bit! :-) $30 for 5 minutes and $50 per 10 minutes! It is then $10 per extra person. I loved knowing that the money that was handed to me from the customers was MY MONEY. Oh yeah.. I forgot to mention about the girl-girl lap dances: they are $70 per dancer hence $140 in total for a lesbian type of show or girl-girl dance... regardless if it is one or two customers partaking. In re: the girl-girl dancing... we are allowed to lick each other's nipples and the like... a mild show in the end however 'hot' compared to what we can do at Players. Really good money to be made if you find someone you can put on a 'hot' show with...

Fee: It is a fee-based club. The standard fees are $60 Fri/Sat and $50 every other night. The fee can be reduced it if hasn't been that busy or even removed all together. For instance, when 'The Club' opened up at midnight on Good Friday for 3 hours (closed at 3am due to how slow it was)... the dancers were charged no fee that shift. Why? There were something like 8 dancers on (including me) and 5 of them literally went home with nothing. Then Monday when 'The Club' decided to close early at 1am (instead of 3am), they reduced the fee to $30 because only two dancers that shift made good $$. The rest of us made under or just over $100 (before fee).

As for my earnings: Thursday I earnt $240 (after $50 fee) - I could've made more however due to the whole 'topless only' thing after midnight.. found it harder to sell lap dances. Good Friday .. $100 (no fee).. only open for 3 hours. There were hardly ANY punters.. so I was damn lucky I made $$. Saturday (the first full shift/night I experienced) $60 (after $60 fee). The reason I didn't do well on Saturday is because I was doing (what I refer to as) a high hustle when it really required a low to moderate hustle. Plus the fact that there were 14 dancers on and, for a Saturday, it wasn't that busy. It was more busy on Thursday than Saturday. Sunday... $260 profit after $50 fee. As you can tell, I had 'gotten it' by then. Monday.. $15 after $30 fee. I did badly on Monday all due to timing... I was rostered to be 'on stage' at a time when a few of the punters wanted to go for a lap dance. I knew who was 'good' for (at least) one lap dance ... just that I wasn't 'on the floor' at the time.

So there is really good potential to earn good $$ at this club during its busier season(s)... usually July and after... It looks like it is best to stay away from this club March - June. I definately want to go back. It was easy working environment. I feel like I could do really well there.

The lightning is on the dark side since they use black/UV lights.. yet you can still see the dancer so it isn't TOO dark.

They also have a second smaller stage situated between the main stage and lap dance room/area. This smaller stage is only used when it is busy - tipping is allowed on that stage as well. If I have missed anything in this 'review'... I'll post it later.

I wasn't aware there was a club in Rocky! I never saw one when I was there.

I know of two clubs in Brisbane though, I passed one called Showgirls and another which I think is called Hooters?? That one was open during the day. There were in the city centre so they prob have potential to get really good at night. I never worked on my visit, but I guess if you're passing through, you should know if you wanna check 'em out.

A little update from me in Melbourne right now

I'm at Goldfingers this week and plan to work Showgirls Bar20 next week.

I've only worked two shifts in total... and, unfortunately, I wasn't 'at my best' during my first shift (I had a headache that decided to wreck havoc with me). I'm not pulling in the $$ yet as the past two shifts I have been learning. I think I have 'got it' now and will see how I go Friday and Saturday. My last shift at Goldfingers is Sunday. I'll update after that final shift.

And valkor80... I've known about that website since a year ago. I only go back to it every so often as it isn't THAT reliable... some of the info. in re: clubs they have is outdated.

For instance, the review they have about 'The Club International' in Cairns is a year old and things have changed (as per my 'review&#039. There are reviews that are dated 2000, 2001, 2002.... and in my opinion I bother with reviews that are up to 6 months old. A review that is older than that isn't reliable as alot can change in re: individual clubs.

Goodness! I just updated the Players Showgirls info. cause thing have changed there very recently.

UPDATE: There is no "Kages on Kings" it is now called Dallas Dancers or Dancers @ Dallas. Same spot just a different name. It isn't a high priority for me to check out but it is worth checking out none-the-less. If I don't try it out eventually, I'll never know which club in Melbourne I like best and do best within.

    Default Re:Around Australia....

Well... I posted my review of Goldfingers in the Clubs and Reviews section of StripperWeb.

Overall I made over $1000 after fees. Pretty damn good for me personally since I was coming from a small club environment to a large club environment.

Wednesday was my first shift as I have previously mentioned, I didn't do well due to a headache. I spent most of my time in the dressing room as even the headache tablets I took didn't help. I did my tables and then would disappear. I was not at my best at all.

Thursday .. well since I was better now all my learning started with this shift not the previous one. By the end of the shift, I had learnt how to maximise the use of the table dancing situation: how to either get punters at my table or looking... then either selling a table side dance or (bingo!) a lap dance.

Friday.. I was nervous Friday only because this would be a virginal moment for me. The first time I would be working a "busy" night in a big club with alot of dancers. There were a few factors that influenced why I didn't do well that shift: it was wet, raining and COLD ( brrr!) hence weather I am not used to nor like... then the fact that I was a little intimidated by it all. Whilst Thursday taught me how to use the tables, I was still unsure of how to approach punters 'cold' (on the floor). Friday taught me alot about the punters that frequented the club and how to work a busy night.

Saturday.. BINGO! Jackpot ! Everything I learnt Thursday and Friday I was able to put into action.... with a VERY financially rewarding result. Now.. I had two proud moments on Saturday (just like I had one in Cairns).

My first proud moment on Saturday was the fact that I had reached my $$$ goal (and exceeded it) with only having danced for four or five customers in total. Two out of that four or five is where I made most of my money that shift.

My second proud moment on Saturday was the fact that I had reached my $$$ goal (and exceeded) even tho' at least double the number of dancers were working on a Saturday that was not as busy as Friday! There was over 50 dancers working Saturday and it wasn't really THAT busy (according to dancers who have been there for a far while) for a Saturday. In my personal opinion, it was busier Friday than Saturday.

I left around 5am only because I was so damn tired (and looked it according to the dance supervisor who I asked if I could go early). If I stayed, I probably could've made another $100 min. but I was ready to crash and had to take into account that I was working one more shift: Sunday.

ANZAC Day was on Sunday 25th April... Victoria and Tasmania are the only two states/territories in the whole of Australia that did NOT have a public holiday on the Monday. Don't ask me why.. they just don't.

Sunday... the smallest number of dancers I've seen work that week! Easily under 15... more like 12 or 13 (including me). Alot started earlier with only myself and 2 others starting from 9pm. It was 'hands down' the slowest night of them all yet I still walked away exceeding my $$ target considering I went in with a really low target of making $200. I realised straight away that Sunday shift required me to spend more than 5 minutes with the punter before asking for a lap dance (unlike Fri/Sat and even Thursday). I approached it like I would approach a normal shift up on the Gold Coast... more talk.

I also learnt that disappearing up into the dressing room isn't necessarily a bad thing. There were moments when it was wiser to just 'wait out' the slow periods than to waste energy trying to hustle.

On the busier shifts, I learnt that you have to be very aware of how you are 'handling' yourself. Other punters are watching! So even if you aren't necessarily talking with anyone, walk around with a smile on your face, show some confidence (without appearing over-confident) and just keep moving unless you are with a punter.

On Sat. shift I did find that a nice glass of red wine did help me (I got a punter to buy me one). All I needed was 3 sips to help me not be so nervous and I did well. I never finished the wine.. I only drank a quarter of it in the end so ultimately I worked sober.

Now that I have Goldfingers 'down pat'... I'm thinking that my time at Bar20 will be very rewarding. I have already left this experience in Melbourne learning something more about myself: it takes two shifts for me to learn a club: first shift I learn how to utilise the table dancing, the second shift I learn how to utilise the punters (and turn them into customers).

Overall I did enjoy my time at Goldfingers. I will return if they will have me. At the same time, I heard from a few dancers who had worked at Bar20 recently (like within the last month had swapped clubs) that they did better over there. Hmm... All I desire is $700 in total (after fees) in my time at Bar20 to have this little 'holiday' of mine 100% paid for and a little profit.

[glow=red,2,300]TIP[/glow] This period that I am working within right now is considered a bad period. Reason: Winter. For the next few weeks, attendance will generally be down whilst people 'get used to' the winter tempreatures. I was told by dancers who had been there for a few years that this always happens during this time every year... people become grumpy for a few weeks because the weather is colder.. then they 'get used to it' and are okay.

[glow=red,2,300]TIP[/glow] Try and stay within accommodation that is close to King St or anywhere in the 'City Loop'. I am staying in Boronia which is a Zone 3 'stop' via the trains... I travel an hour each way. The bitch is travelling from 'work' to 'home'... the trains don't start until 5am even if I finish at 3am. Learn from my lesson.

I'm going to try out October, Spring or Lucy for possible stage names at Bar20. Trinity... well... I love the name however on the first shift most of the punters would call me Trudy.. so I started calling myself Trudy. I don't like the name Trudy... so I won't use it again.

If anyone can think of stage names that give off the impression of cute and sassy (which I am)... then please tell me

I settled with Cindy in the end as there was already a dancer with a name similiar to Lucy. I actually could've used Vanessa but it's a new club hence I feel it is only fitting that I use a new name. Gives me a chance to 'try out' other names to see which ones I like being called.

Bar20 looks well run from the interview and tour I got today. I start at 8pm tomorrow (Wednesday).

Here's some info. I learnt - I'll post a full review when I return home.

The door fee is the same as Goldfingers. The difference lies in when one can pay it: Goldfingers you get until mid-night to pay the fee; Bar20 you pay it at reception or else you cannot work. The only time you pay the club out of any money you receive for a dance is when you use any of the fantasy rooms.

It costs the customer $70 for a 10 min. fantasy room dance. You pay the club $10 out of that $70 for the room and costume hire (if you do not already have your own costume). That $70 covers up to 4 customers then it's $5 per head. That room is yours for that 10 minutes and you do not need to time it as the CD that you are given (which suits each room's theme) is exactly 10 min. long.

This might work out for me as I have my own School Girl costume. Yup.. I might say that I am only available for table dances and fantasy room dances. Hmm...

The club itself is going thru changes due to the new owners (Daily Planet) investing money into the club (renovating, etc). You do not receive a locker until you've worked there for a few weeks.

The club provides everything: tampons, shampoo, conditioner, shower towels, hair spray, etc. They provide alot and the lady who gave me the tour joked how alot of the dancers don't realise that they are treated like princesses at that club.

I personally am used to BYO. So it seemed like I would be treated well.

All in all I got a favourable impression of the club. I went in around 6pm and it wasn't busy at all with only a handful of dancers working at that point.

I agree that its pretty outdated as far as reviews go. but any source of info is better than none. I find I use it mainly to find clubs in an area I'm going to be in for a while and then ask around locally

    Default Re:Around Australia....

    Well, I finished at Bar20.

I recommend this club for those who come from smaller clubs (like me) before going onto a bigger club like Goldfingers or Mens Gallery.

    It has three levels:

The bottom level (basement you could say) is where the Fantasy Rooms are located: Shower room, Mirror room (mirrors on all four walls), Arabian room, School room and Jail room.

The first level is where you enter (ground level) and before you go up the stairs to the main room (first level)... there are a couple of rooms located near the main reception (where you pay to enter).

The first room is called 'The Red Room' and was only opened on Sat. night when I was there. Located off 'The Red Room' are the adjoining function rooms which can be hired for functions (usually Bucks Parties).

Go up the stairs and you enter the main area. It has the main stage and a smaller (podium) stage on to your left (as you enter the room). This is where the action is at basically. Saturday I experienced what it is like when the club is packed in the main area.... this is where the smallness of the club isn't so good. It makes it hard to move around the crowd without getting 'felt up' on the way from one end of the room to the other.

The lighting is a little on the dark side only due to the use of the black/UV lights. This I found a hinderance as I would only be able to see halfway across the room in such dull light instead of being able to see ALL of the room.

Whilst at first I was leaning towards Goldfingers for my choice of place to work.... in the end, I found Bar20 just as good.

The only drawback is the lack of table time for me personally. I like to be on podiums, tables, stage more than once every two hours... once an hour is better for me. On a slow/bad night, it helps to keep me going and will sometimes be what I need to bolster my slow/bad night.

Oh yeah... whilst the both the mini and main stage shows were great to watch... they did attract people who were there for the shows. This was very pronounced on Friday night when the club was somewhat busy (looked it) and then after the midnight show (the main show)... half the club cleared out (practically).

I wouldn't mind coming back to this club however I personally will only really benefit from working at Bar20 if I was able to do so for a month (4 weeks) or more..... so then I could experience some of the privelages of being a regular girl there.

Goldfingers is more suited to travelling dancers as you are treated the same as the other dancers. Also, I just feel Goldfingers is that little bit more organised.

The money is proberly better at Bar20 than Goldfingers even tho' I had pretty much did the same (after fee) in the end. See my review of Bar20 for more info.

    UPDATE !

I'm planning on dancing in Rockhampton in June (next month). It's a 3-6 week contract with airfare and accommodation included.

The club is called Hooters and is open Tues-Sat. Club takes 30% (I have heard that this decreases the more you work there). I'm doing it because the Gold Coast scene sucks (basically) and for the first-hand experience.

I also wouldn't do a contract like this unless I had heard mostly positives about this club... which I had. So it is a sure bet I'll make (at the very min.) $1000 per week.

Well.. UPDATE on the Gold Coast scene

Bad Girls is not the club for me. There is money to be made at this club however you have to be motivated (even if there is a small number of patrons that come in the door) and a good sales-girl (hustler). Just that the lack of patrons depressed me in the end. I want to work in a club that (generally... or more often than not) has plenty of people to approach.

They had made the dancers classier but the club is still tired, worn and old looking... if they just reno the joint then the dancer's would fit the feel more... just that they are trying to make the whole theme (as such) classy but the decor/interior... well it says the opposite.

As for my old club prior to all my travels. It is a case of you work there or you don't... they don't allow dancers to be unrostered anymore. They tried it in the past and it didn't really work.. so they don't offer that option anymore. Shame as I'm a worker now (compared to when I left...).

Looks like I will be trying out Crazy Horse (the last club in Gold Coast I have yet to work within) to see if I can work there on/off. I'll do that after my Rockhampton trip.

After working in Rocky and then trying out Crazy Horse (hopefully it'll proove to be much more profitable than Bad Girls did for me).. I will go to Adelaide for a fortnight working one week at The Palace and the second week at Crazy Horse Review.

Doing something similiar to when I was in Melbourne - work 4-5 shifts at each club.

Will keep you updated. Check this thread in 4 weeks time.

    ROCKHAMPTON

    Yup... I'm here!

I've only worked Tuesday and Wednesday night... and damn! There was a big difference between the two. Before I get to that, I would like to just give a brief overview of the club and how things work (more info in my review in the Reviews section).

The club used to be known as Hooters.. it is now called Teazers. It is a small club and only 4 other girls are working with me right now - they have a cap of 6 girls per night.

My accommodation (and that of two other dancers) is located right next door the club and isn't that flash. It is very basic so if you used to staying in backpacker type of accommodation then this won't be a problem. No stove. Shared bathroom. The kitchen has the basics - no stove but there's a microwave.

I've got the whole unit to myself... TV, VCR and small portable stereo. Pretty cosy and private.

As for the club, it is small but classy... doesn't look dirty at all. It is dark but not too dark. The 'catwalk' stage is well set up... and there are signs in good spots about how if you sit along the catwalk you must tip! YAY! This definately impressed me...

    As for tipping on stage:
    $5 topless no touch show
    $10 topless touching breasts show
    $20 nude touching breasts show

All stage side shows are one minute long minimum and you don't have to include the breast touching but it is pretty standard. Also the breast touching doesn't have to be for that long...

    Lap Dances...
Topless or Full Nude options. Full Nude sells of course.
$70 for 15 minutes one person.
$70 for 10 minutes two people.

The "rent" is $500 per week and you pay this off gradually over the week. It can be reduced if management deems it necessary.

I did alright on Tuesday considering that there were hardly ANYONE in the club... just over $100.

Meanwhile, Wednesday... OH MY GOD !!! I broke the $600 mark ! Hence I took the opportunity to pay off $300 of that $500 "rent" so that Fri/Sat I can keep all my money.

It made me realise that I might break my elusive $700, $800 or even... $1000 mark yet!

Since there were 5 dancers on in total, everyone was on stage about once an hour which is good because alot of money can be made stage side.

If you are booked - you are allowed to miss doing your stage.

All in all... I'm impressed so far... and glad I took the chance.

    Rockhampton

Can you tell I'm impressed? Well, my first week is over. I worked Tues-Sat. My only two down nights were Tues and Thur where I earnt between $110-150.

Also, the hours are dependant upon how busy the club is... for instance, Tues they closed early around 1 or 2am, Wed they stayed open until 5am, Thur closed early at 3am with Fri and Sat allowing us dancers to go at 4am. I found that the club usually got busy early on instead of later... later it would slow down.

In the end, I ended up making just over $2000 for the week. DAMN !! I havn't made that sort of money for quite some time ! I mean months :o

What I feel helped is the fact that all the dancers were new. Two girls were down for the week from Brisbane. One girl from Adelaide. Another was called in (a local girl, as such) due to one of the "out of town" girls leaving (without giving anyone notice).

Whilst I did earn over $2000... $450 of it went to the club that week to cover rent and other expenses (accomm. and airfare). They reduced it from $500 because it was so slow on Tues.

WARNING: You will be working hard. Due to the small number of dancers working (from 4-6), you will be on stage alot. One night I was on stage once every hour. Also, the music is at a level that makes conversation very minimal.... hence be able to say what you need to say in as few words as possible. Plus it isn't a high hustle environment, be prepared to sit with people for quite some time.

By the end of my working week... I had to let my voice rest as I had over-exteneded it during the week (due to the music being played at niteclub levels as I call it).

Granted the Tues-Sat isn't going to last. They usually only open Wed-Sat.

The accommodation isn't flash at all. It is called "the bat cave" for a reason... and I find myself watching ALOT of TV (not that I don't mind.. I'm hooked on Big Brother..oh dear).

I'm doing well here because it is THE only strip club here. Also, I don't have alot of competition... only 5 other dancers max. Plus.. due to the majority of dancers usually being "out of town" girls... there is no cliques. Everyone tries to get along with everyone else due to each of us being 'new'.

Hmm... I don't know what else to say except that I'm damn glad that I decided to work up here. I havn't made over $2000 for quite sometime ..... and this is the QUIET time of year.

I'm back on the Gold Coast !

I love living here - just that working here isn't so great right now. It is so slow! I havn't worked since I've been back on the Coast and plan to "go back to work" this weekend.

I'm going to give one of the new clubs on the Coast a go: Hooters. It's in a location that's had 3-4 other clubs start up only to go broke not to long later... this is in a span of 2 and half years. I'm going to give it a go by only for this weekend - I just want to see it with my own eyes as I've heard rumours about the place.

Then I'll work at Playmates in Broadbeach to give that place a go and see how it works.

After that I should be alright as I leave the Gold Coast around the 18th or 19th for Townsville before heading off to Mt Isa for 14 days straight work. The Mt Isa trip I'm doing with 3 other dancers I worked with in Rockhampton so they aren't strangers to me and I got along with them pretty well.

At the same time, I'm booked with JoAnne's Exotic Dancers (stripper agency) for some extra work.. if possible.

The thing I liked about Rockhampton is that Teaze is the only club there so it had no competition. The same with Mt Isa. The Gold Coast, on the other hand, has 4 clubs in Surfers Paradise and 1 club in Broadbeach (the next suburb over). Too many clubs and not enough patrons to keep the dancers busy and making money... it's slow everywhere.

Can't wait for winter to be over... things will pick up!

I've given up on the Gold Coast for the time being. I don't like the new rules at Bad Girls and I concluded that working there now requires more effort than it's worth. I decided my time would be better spent sewing and cleansing. So now I've got a ridiculous amount of bikinis (- I wont have to do washing for weeks!!!) And I've been living on fruit and whole foods for the last few days and flushing my liver, so I'm feeling pretty good too!
I'm going to Sydney again next Wed - so far I've made no plans so I shall just work it out when I get there. I'll let you know if it's fab or not via email - I hate that damned email, lol!
Have fun and lots of profit on your travels!!! (-:

    ********************************************

Onlythebest (- Hope it's ok to answer this :-)To work in Queensland now you'll need a working visa and an Australian Buisness Number (ABN) otherwise you have to pay 48% of your earnings in tax. The rest of Australia is likely to follow Qlds example, (this year the tax department is targeting all entertainers etc). I'm not totally sure, but if you work at a club that takes a percentage of your earnings anyway, I assume the 48% comes out after the club has taken their share, so it's going to be hard for alot of girls who are here studying or travelling. I'm not sure which clubs take the percentages and which ones don't, but I have heard that all the clubs in Brisbane take percentages.
As far as making money goes - some people are better at it than others and some places / clubs are better than others so it's really hard to say. Also this winter seems to have been particularly bad in alot of places, but hopefully things will pick up again in the spring and summertime, or hopefullt NOW!!! It's usually said that Melbourne is the best city to work in, but I've only worked on The Gold Coast and Sydney. Sydney generally works for me. I should travel more though. Gold Coast Girl will be able to write a book on Aussie clubs by the end of the year!!! ,

Oh and most clubs here are full nude. In Queensland (and possibly elsewhere,) there are a few topless only if a club has lost its license or is awaiting license approval.

Generally speaking the greater majority of strip clubs are full nude with alcohol (full bar). The only topless club I know of is Playmates Mansion in Broadbeach (Gold Coast). It is topless no touching with full bar/alcohol.

The only thing is ... there are 4 other clubs 5 mins down the road in Surfers Paradise that are full nude with 2 way contact... so it is a hard sell.

Now that the ATO (Australian Tax Office) is cracking down on ALOT of clubs in Queensland .... the clubs now require ABNs from its dancers hence it is practically impossible for those without an ABN (Australian Business Number) to work in any strip clubs.

Also... as a general rule of thumb all clubs are nude with full bar/alcohol and...:

Queensland - 2 way contact touching
Canberra - Sinsations is the only strip club there as the others are fronts for brothels
Sydney - no contact otherwise fronts for prostitution
Melbourne - no contact ... I personally recommend checking out Spearmint Rhino, Showgirls Bar20 and Goldfingers. Mens Gallery isn't worth it these days in many ways.
Darwin - only good during the Dry Season.. unsure about contact
Adelaide - no contact as far as I know
    Perth - unknown

If you're not an Australian citizen with a TFN (tax file number) at the very least I would say to stay away from dancing in Queensland esp. Gold Coast.

Oh! Rockhampton is okay for travelling dancers ... I nearly forgot!! :o They had a UK backpacker working there for two weeks.
