Not saying the DJ should make less, but he damn well shouldn't be making MORE. Yeah it's cool if he's making more than the bottom of the barrel girls - they don't hustle and they don't make much money. I wouldn't expect the guy to bust his ass all night for crap pay, which is why I always do make sure to tip appropriately.
You are correct that this is not a contract thing. Even the 'standard fees' are not on contract. It's not like we're giving out W2s or 1099s to the DJs....although maybe we should LOL! I have a EIN and am incorporating this year. HAHAHA I wonder what the DJs at my club would say if I presented them with a contract to fill out in order to send them 1099s at the end of the year from Bridgette Inc![]()
Flounder I won't shoot ya yetJust make sure you remember that an SC is pretty much a raw market - most rules are bent, overlooked or straight out ignored as par for the course all day and all night. Dancers are no more inclined to pay retarded sums for bullshit than customers are.

Blade, we should all be so lucky to have a DJ like you. I've worked with only two in many years who have even come close. :'( Why won't these successful clubowners cough up the cash to pay their employees? We could show love to the great ones instead of feeling scammed?
