Default coffee grounds?

Forgive me if this has ever been mentioned- I did a search with no results, so hopefully it hasn't.

Has anyone ever heard that rubbing coffee grounds on your thighs can diminish the appearance of cellulite? To me it just seems like it would leave you with a mess and coffee-scented legs (yummy!) but one of my friends from high school swore by this, and I actually read on a website somewhere that some supermodels do it before they go on the runway. I am dancing for the first time in two weeks and have some visible cellulite, so I was thinking of trying it. Do any of you do this?
Thanks!

Usually, just the process of deep massage gives you the same results. Cellulite is nothing more than fatty deposits showing through the skin. Save the coffee for a pick-me-up, and just use some lotion and do a deep massage on the areas that you have cellulite on.

just speculating.. but the caffine might have something to do with it as well as the massage. it might stimulate the blood to stir up or something... might be an intresting experiment... test with nothing, then lotion, then coffee, then pepermint oil (same effect on the blood through skin that coffee should have)... maybe others.... i dont know... dont mind the crazy person <<<<<<<<

I've read about this before...never used them, but the so-called cellulite-reducing creams work by irrtating the skin slightly, so that it swells up and disguises the cellulite. Maybe coffee grounds work in a similar fashion? I've also read about seaweed wraps on the thighs.

Eliminate sugar from your diet and supplement for a month or so with Gotu Kola and Milk Thistle and you'll likely see a huge reduction in your cellulite. (Don't take the latter if you're on the pill).

When I was in Maui I remember one of the spas offering an anti-cellulite treatment that utilized massage with ground coffee, I didn't try it so I have no idea how effective it may be?

Thanks for the advice ladies!

I use Cellu Sculpt (Avon) right now, and it works fairly well if you really do use it twice a day every day. Since no one has tried coffee grounds, perhaps I'll be the guinnea pig and test it out! I think it is the caffeine that has something to do with it. Most anti-cellulite lotions have caffeine in them.
Scarlett, I am on the pill, so I'll avoid the milk thistle, but I'll try the Gotu Kola and stay away from sugar. Thank you!
I'll let everyone know how my coffee- scented thighs look.

Sexy jess I use the cellusculpt too.The longer you use it the better it works. It has coffee in it,so I dont think the coffee thing will do much more.It actually taked the fluid buid up out of the area ,hence the reduction of cellulite.I have heard coffee works pretty good but results last only like 6 hours, I guess when you drink the fluid builds back up.

I have heard firming lotions only work because of thier effect on water. If you drink like you are suppost to they wont work. but if you dont drink hardly all day they might give a temporary effect.
