The Offshore Technology Conference has been quite lucrative in past years, but I haven't worked it in a while. Does anyone know what itv was like last year? Is anyone working this May 3-6th?

I will be working at the St. James. I worked about this time last year but don't remember much about it.

Nowadays most big city clubs are saturated with girls on normal weeks, especially clubs with no schedules. Then an event comes to town and more local girls show up to work. Compound this with girls from out of town hoping to strike it rich and you have a club that normally works 50 girls a night with 100 and even if the club gets more business, the money is spread thin.
Guys are getting hustled too much and in Houston, girls don't really hustle, they just plop their asses down next to a customer for 30 minutes or hour intervals and that leaves no guys available to approach. Your money is made there off of several customers a night. if those several customers are not big spenders a girl may not make what she makes at home.
I worked the Super Bowl in Houston and actually made $369 LESS for a 6 day week than at a small town South Dakota club where I had a 6 day booking the next week that runs 5 girls a night.
If a girl lives in a Texas city besides Houston AND is already hired in a top Houston club, she can just drive in and go to work and if it doesn't yield big money no big deal.
I was already hired at a top club there and pop in to work off and on.
But, if a dancer lives 1000-2000 miles away from a city and wants to just work a club when big events are in town, there is a high likelihood nowadays that she can make less than at home. Guys with money are just not hitting the clubs like they used to anymore and so many dancers are working nowadays that things are tight.
Every event I have worked has been a disappointment. I feel staying put in a good volume club you are known at is a better bet nowadays.
I'm not going anywhere. I'm in Houston as it is. Superbowl for me was maybe $100 more per day, but seeing as I only worked 4 days, I wasn't that impressed.
I don't know the first thing about this conference, but I'll be working at the Colorado.

Superbowl earnings were astoundingly good for me, $1000 + each night. I was planning on working next week anyway, and I'm already hired at St. James. I look forward to it![]()
