Default Is now a good time for a trip to Vegas?

Hey everyone, Im finally going to Vegas, hopefully early next week. I have a friend that is working at Spearmint Rhino and is doing wonderfully over there.(although ive heard its on the dirtier side) ???
So can anyone tell me from experience, or just plain concrete knowledge, if now is going to be a good time to visit?
What do you all think a good night in Vegas(in a club like Spearmint Rhino) would be? A bad night?
Also, I know that you need a Sherrifs card(100?) AND a business license correct? If anyone has those addresses and could post them, that would be wonderful.
Im going to be either driving my own car, or getting a rental as well... so transportation is set, but i was wondering if anyone that has been there to work from out of state could recommend like a good extended stay place(ill be there for 2 weeks more than likely). Basically what Im looking for is a decent place, economical, not too far away from the clubs, that HAS to have washers and dryers ...lol it drives me nuts not having those available. Thanks in advance ladies!! much appreciated.

Spearmint Rhino is not at all on the dirtier side although you will see girls in Vegas do dirty things.....but you ARE in a strip club....and it is in VEGAS...so its to be expected to a certain extent.
This time of year things are begining to slow down. The weekends will still be good...but during the week is slow. The good things about the Rhino is that it has a lot of local clinetel as well so it may bring in a few more customers then the big non catering to locals... tourist places like Sapphire and Treasures.
If you have a car I would stay at maybe the stratosphere or a place of that nature. Look online at the cheaper places. I used to stay at the Budget Suites....but they are really ghetto and dangereous. What about your friend that works at the Rhino??
When it comes to the Sherriffs card and business license check past threads for Vegas info....there is a ton of info from girls on this site.
    Good luck.

Emerald Suites on Tropicana or S. Las Vegas Blvd is good. They have a laundry facility on premises. Budget Suites on the west side of Emerald Suites is ok. I would recommend Emerald 1st.

Business is slowing down now and it still really is not as good as I expected. I have been here since the 2nd week of March and it has been tough.

Clubs hire here based on when they feel like hiring and you basically should not come here expecting to work at one club. Keep all the big clubs open. They all have different shifts and night shift at Spearmint is very picky who they will hire.

Don't worry about what you hear girls say. You have to see the clubs for yourself.

Night shifts at these clubs can be saturated with girls. The first 2 weeks I was here I made so so money at night then it went to nothing. The clientele became all young guys.

Young customers in groups are flooding the clubs here at night and many dancers work at night many times more than customers.

Bad nights here involve not making your payout back and having everyone tell you no for dances or company. This can happen A LOT. I've talked to girls from various clubs and they all are experiencing this. You can work 10 night shifts and not get your payout back 6 times. This is a fact. Many a girl experiences this, they just don't all want to be honest and admit it.

I'll tell you why. If 120 girls are working and 72 customers are on the floor, many guys have been approached by 20-30 girls. You being #31, what do you think your chances are of being brushed off too? Plus young guys in groups don't buy many dances and over 3/4's of the customers in the club at night are like this.

I would recommend trying to get hired at SR on the early morning shift. The better customers tend to be local or ones that are here from AZ and CA often and are nicer and only come out during the day. The other clubs with decent morning shifts are Crazy Horse Too and Cheetah's.

Treasures and Sapphire have NO day business and nights are up and down. Sapphire recently had management tell 25 girls at random they were now day girls since they needed girls during the day. There is NO day business at that club and these girls cannot work nights anymore by staying over. Some of these girls are now at Cheetah's. And they are pretty girls. Rather than closing during the day they are being assholes.

I work at Cheetah's now. I worked at SR 4 years ago during the day as the weekend manager wouldn't let me work nights (prejudiced MF). The manager who hired me wanted me on his nights. The morning shifts at Cheetahs' I have yet to not make payout back and the customers are nicer and most buy dances. Less competition and the customers are more open to talk since 100 girls aren't badgering them for dances. Plus the clientele is older during the morning hours and consists of more businessmen. After 3 when another payout is due the clientele gets shitty.

You could work 5-6 night shifts and barely have made your weeks rent money and a few hundred more. I was freaked out about going to work at a strip club during the morning commute, but the worst day I had was $111 after payout and the best was $596. At night I worked 4 days in a row and did not make payout back and I was not the only one. Thurs-Sun mornings are the best. The average customer during the morning where I am spends $150 or so on dances either on one girl or several. At night many of the guys spend nothing and are real picky with 100 or so girls prancing around.

If you can go in the clubs as a customer at night you will see for yourself the situation and plan what you want to do from that.

    Hope this helps.

My girlfriend was starting to think about doing one weekend a month in vegas because she thought she could make a killing those weekends and could skip a few weeks in LA. She is a absolute 10 and does very well in her small club in LA - 1000 on a thursday even. But Vegas is a different world.

We've been to Saphires and she likes the atmosphere because the air itself seems clean - she is a non smoker and can;t take too much second hand smoke. I would never try and tell her what to do but I don't believe working Vegas like this is going to be the pot of gold she imagines it being. Saphires management took a look at her last time we were there and of course said yes, they would hire her but there were 280 girls there that night. A lot of competition no matter how beautiful and artful your hype is.

Am I being a pessimist or is it possible she could still do a bangup job$$?

I was in Vegas at the end of Jan. and worked in Club Paradise. I loved that club because there is no contact at all, everyone was extremely nice and best of all you pick what shift you want to work. Money wise, it was very good to me. The housefee/tipout is practically nothing there but then again I am from New York where I'm used to shelling out 150+ per shift.

BF in training, the pot of gold in Vegas got emptier around 2001.

When Cheetah's, Olympic Garden and Crazy Horse were the top three clubs and SR was new, the money potential was better.

So many dancers feel big money is here, but in reality it is no better than other cities and there really are not shitloads of older wealthy customers like everyone thinks.

In your girlfriends neighborhood club she is known and there is not drastic competition. In these big Vegas clubs we are all just another face and the customers can be downright mean.

Plus in clubs like Club Paradise and Sapphire, the VIP customers are off limits to girls not approved to work VIP, which is not fair. A lot of girls at sapphire obviously are not getting their payout back and I met a few that left there because money was slow.

The only way to measure a club here is to work it permanently. January had more business than now. A girl who made $2500 in 5 days in January might make $700 now. I am being honest. It's up and down.

I personally feel searching for consistent $1000 nights is a thing of the past now except for in select high end clubs and high end clubs don't have consistent business either.

You guys could come up here on a weekend and check out nights at Treasures, Sapphires, Olympic Garden, Cheetahs, Crazy Horse Too, Spearmint Rhino, Glitter Gulch, Spearmint Rhino, Strip Tease, and Jaguars and see what you think.

Personally I don't think she is going to do as well or any better than at home, but if she wants to try she should go for it.

Thanks for the insight, Tina. But to be honest my GF was looking to actually do DOUBLE the amount she does in LA. She pays out 40% at her club and had heard the payout at Sapphires is close to nothing so she thought doing the same business would mean an almost doublling to maybe $1800 in one night. If she stayed Friday through sunday she had this visiion of pulling in 3500-4000 in one weekend. I think the only way she'll ever know for sure is try one weekend.

BF in training, she just needs to be prepared for LOTS of rejection. And not let it get her down, just understand it's due to lots of competition.

The lesser payouts won't make a difference in her earnings. Guys are cautious how they spend their money here with so many girls to choose from.

Keep us posted on how she does if you guys come here.

Hey Ritzy, I had friends in Vegas from Feb 1-5 and they had a BIG party at Club Paradise on Feb 4th. Ran up a $8,600 tab up in VIP. Maybe were there that night or know some girls who were?

Ummm, there is plenty of contact at Club Paradise, but its alltogether a very clean club. Its all open layout, so its pretty impossible for major extras to occur. But there is plenty of contact dancing........

If they are friends of yours, why did you want to know "the dish" in this post?
