    Default favorite dress---STOLEN??

    ok, im mad girls
I am missing my favorite dress. A dress i paid about 200 dollors for! And i think it was stolen, but have no proof. I am not one to "loose" things and i always know where everything is at all times. But, the other night i emptied out my bag to throw some dresses in the wash, and it was gone!

Should i say anthing to the manager, ask around if anyone has seen it, OR what do i do when i see someone at my club WEARING IT?

OH MAN, iv'e never had this happen to me before?
has anyone else here had anything stolen?

i guess this is a lesson to lock things up, BUT THERE ARE no lockers left at this particular club! So i could put a lock on my backpack/suitcase, but someone could just pick up and leave with it!

Lock your bag/suitcase. Even a small lock is a better deterent to a thief than no lock.

I know how you feel! I had an outfit stolen right off the stage one time in a club that ran several dancers at a time on mainstage, we hung our stuff on a coat rack and when I went to get dressed it was gone- arg!!!

I suggest you go to Walmart and get a flightbag ( one of those small suitcases on wheels) and a luggage lock and sew something bright like a butterfly patch for jeans or something so it's clearly noted as yours. Mine cost me less than $30 total. Too bad I'm down here on Captiva Island or I'd just give you mine since I don't need it anymore

It happened to me, favorite dress too.

Two days later, the bitch was actually wearing it on the floor!! She was dancing for a customer. Me and another girl went up, pulled her off customer, and confronted her. She was totally busted, so she apologized and kissed me ass.....

I let her finish her dances with the guy, then had her take off the dress in back, no questions asked. I don't like to make enemies...

Keep your eyes open...these putas aren't all that smart...

    Good luck!

Hey sweety, I'm sorry that happened. My friend had a precious bodysuit stolen last month, ruined her day. I never leave anything out. Put the word out in the club, a little birdy might help you get the dress back, or get the thief back.

That sucks big ASS!If you know anyone that works in another club ask them to keep their eyes peeled. The dingbat either sold it or will wear it.
    Definitely lock you stuff.
And whenyou find it ask the girl where she got it before you start yelling. She may be an innocent victim of the thief.Either way if it was sold to someone else take it back and tell the chick to get the money back from the thief. If the girl starts acting guilty just start freaking.Just yell at her.Otherwise you will look like a doormat and it may happen again. But if you make a big stink and create some fear at least others will think twice.Unfortunately there are alot of crackhead bitches out there. Also check in nooks and crannies.I saw a girl take another chicks clothes and toss them where the other one wouldn't find it so easily.I let the other one know on the low where they were as I didn't want to get involved.Childish bullshit.

Honey, I am so sorry! This exact thing has happened to me numerous times! I lock things up when I can, but unfortunately, that isnt always an option at some clubs. Is there anyway that you can leave things in your car and ask the doorman to get them for you when you need them?

I'm sorry. We've had that happen at our club as well. When it happens, we all keep our eyes peeled at other local clubs. There aren't very many in our area, and auditions at our clubs are frequent. So, although most of us at our club are pretty tight, I doubt that anyone would steal from eachother because we all borrown eachother's stuff anyways. There are only a few that aren't liked too much and even so, they wouldn't stoop to that level.

A girl had something stolen recently and it turned up in another club on a dancer there. She had auditioned at our club and went "shopping".

I remember working in bigger city clubs where that kind of thing is more frequent and it sucks. I once had all my clothes ruined. A girl who didn't like me ( I had only worked three days when this happened) dumped an entire bottle of baby oil thru the slats of my locker and it ruined everything. Still to this day do not know why she didn't like me.

I'm so sorry, I hope it turns up for you.

That stinks - hope you get it back soon!
People will steal anything. Fortunately, I never had anything major stolen at work - just 1 Bebe tank top and a pair of socks. Yep, I said socks!!!!!!

I'm sorry to hear - talk to your housemom, manager, floorhosts...anyone bout it. Just tell them a quick description. Oh, and the other girls of course.

I hope nothing of mine gets stolen...I have to wait a few months at my club for a locker. There's a waiting list.

Hope you get your stuff back!

Wow...that really sucks. I'm waiting for a locker at my place, too. However, the house mom is really cool and watches everyone's stuff. None of the girls there would steal anything, so it's all cool. I am surprised that the club would let "auditioning/amateur" dancers into the main dressing room without an "escort" or supervision. At most of the clubs around me, no currently employed dancer hits the dressing room without a bouncer, manager, or housemom around.

Hope you find your dress soon!!
