    Default Workout B4 breakfast ?

    I know I'd be more consistant in my workouts if I did them immediatly after getting up. I get sidetracked sometimes if I eat and wait to digest and occasionaly I end up skipping my workout. I really think if I got up and just downed some juice and went to it I'd faithfully workout

    Is a glass of O.J enough to put in me before working out so I don't burn off lean tissue ?

    Btw- my workout consists of 30/40 min of cardio-usualy on the treadmill sometimes beg. level areobics and then light weights and a good stretch.

    Workout before you eat. This is what I do almost every morning (about 5-6 days a week). You burn off the body's store of fat because the blood sugar levels are really low when you awake. If you eat and work out afterwards, you burn off what you've just consumed because the blood sugar level has picked up. That way, it takes longer to get the results you want.

    What I do is set my alarm early and take about 15 minutes to stretch out and get my body adjusted to being awake. Then I just jump into my training bra etc and start warming up. If you have your kit next to the bed for when you are waking up, it's easier to get motivated.

    If you want to work mornings before eating, aim to do it within an hour of waking up. I always take a few large gulps of cool water (you have to hydrate yourself in the morning) as it does give me a nice little burst of energy and revitalises me.

    I find I lose body fat easier if I work out first thing in the a.m. before I eat... I have a glass of hot water to flush my system and then I run the stairs about 45-75 flights.

    Malibu is right!

    I set my alarm clock for 5:10 am and strech out and I already have my workout clothes laid out and my gym back packed from the night before and I drink a glass of water and get in my car crank up some music and I so I am kind of pumped when I get in.

    Then I hit that step master for 40 mins hit my abs and sit in the sauna for 15 mins then head home and man I don't even need my coffee! I drink a protein shake and I found that I have so much energy thru out my day!

    Set that alarm clock, Prepare your clothes and put them where you can see them and you will do fine!

    I would also like to say "Me too!"

    I find that if I workout prior to eating breakfast, I'm more ready to eat breakfast (if that makes sense)? I also find I'm not just physically better off during the day but mentally as exercise revitalises me (body and mind).

    I try to 20 minutes of anything (walking up and down the stairs, Pilates, etc) before breakfast.
