I don't know of a cure for a hangover, but I know if you drink lots of water after drinking, you can prevent it.
Not that this does you any good now!

aside from another drink, get a little something in your belly. Chicken soup, tomato juice (that's why a bloody mary works wonders for a hangover) some tylenol and alot of water. Try a shower too.

for me, it's one single aspirin and a glass of gatorade or propel after i'm done drinking but before i go to bed.
Being a recovering alcoholic, I can definately say...water!Drink a ton of it before you sleep and start in when ya wake up. I used to take an aspirin before I went to bed as well and that normally kept me hangover free.
It's a mouse thing. You wouldn't understand.
Gatorade. Drink gatorade BEFORE you go to bed at night.. no hangover the next day. Water works just like this too, but I found that gatorade replaces all the electrolytes you lose due to the alcohol dehydrating your system.

All good advice. Yes, when you drink you dehydrate youself and flush a lot of vitamins and minerals out of your body, especially b vitamins. Drink a lot of water, and eat some melon (watermelon, canteloupe, honeydoo) Melon is very high in b-vitamins. When you drink next time, try to alternate between alcoholic drinks and water. This makes you drink less, spend less, and not get a hangover.
Everyone is partly right. Decomposition of alcohol raise the body temperature and absorbs water, dehydarating the body. It also reduces electrolytes in the body. The body also has a mini-allergic reaction to alcohol which a minute amount of alcohol disconnects. Ryan's comment about Vit. C and melon is also right, and I would add leafy green veggies as another source, although I prefer the taste of melon. The impact is broad so just one of them will not relieve 100% of the symptoms and everyone "feels" it differently and at different times they effects will vary in discomfort. Just as not all colds are the same, neither are hangovers.
thanks everybody for input
