    Default Pole dance in these?

Whew! I finally found a boyfriend that likes me for me. Heels and all. Trouble is this one maybe likes heels a bit too much!

He got me a pair of these boots the other day. So far I can just barely wear them around the house (or should I say bedroom) but I have seen a few websites that say they're great for pole dancing!

I can't imagine doing that in these things. Has anybody else tried it?

They look pretty uncomfortable for any kind of dancing--and I have never seen anyone wear them for dancing. The vinyl would grip the pole well, though. These boots are perfect for tying someone up and stomping on them, and then having them lick your boots!

Similar shoes have been shown before. You could always wear them for your shoe fetish clientele when you're in private/VIP. I'm not sure about dancing though! You wouldn't want to break your neck.

P.S. Congrats on finding a man that loves shoes the same way you do!

Oh, yeah, congrats! I think Malibu's idea about the shoe fetish clientele is swell!

I've often wonderd how these compared to pointe slippers. is that the right term for them? and if they could be worn and used in a similar way.

I've never tried the ballet heels, but I know that in pointe shoes I always had the extra batting and pads. It also depends upon the type of pointe shoe as well. Suffice it to say that ballet dancers don't always have the prettiest feet. I've suffered a few broken toes and stress fractures myself. :'(

the toe parts aren't like pointe shoes... less surface area. Those are for the fetish side

ive been dancing ballet for 13 years, and all i know is pointe shoes bang up ur feet pretty bad, no matter how much padding you have in them. so if they are similar to pointe shoes, get ready for blisters upon blisters

I have a pair and they are not for dancing in. I have worn them at private events but you need to be able to sit a lot.

They are not as bad as they look though because if you lace them up tight the weight is held higher up not on your toes. They are hard to balance in though if you are standing you either need something to hold onto or keep moving your feet and falling over is never far away.

In short they are fun to try but only if someone buys them for you - you are not going to wear them much...

They are DEFINITELY NOT FOR WALKING/DANCING IN!!! I too was a ballet dancer. Ballet/pointe shoes are specifically designed to support your toes. The whole front part is made of extremely durable cardboard/wood (it's called a "box"--you can look it up online and see what it looks like I'm sure). Plus you usually have gel or lamb's wool padding in them (you never, never, NEVER dance in pointe shoes without padding). Even with that, your toes become bruised, swollen, and misshapen. Have you ever seen a ballet dancer's feet?!?! NOT attractive! Seriously, DO NOT WALK in those shoes. Just because you may be ABLE to, does NOT mean you should. My sister can do pointe without shoes at all but she knows that she will seriously damage her feet if she does it. So please, please, please, stay seated in these!!! I really don't want you to get hurt (or break the shoes).

AAAHHHH!! Those shoes scare me. They look so painful... LOL ~ maybe they can be your sex shoes? Just for you and your BF (which congrats on - by the way). Specially after reading the earlier posts in this thread.

Yeah those are for fetish play only. NOT for dancing. Any site that advertises those things as being great for pole dancing is not only full of crap but practicing FALSE ADVERTISING.

They are a great pair of fetish material! But i can see a dark stage, with the dancer already there, and lights come up, she is holding the pole, and starts her pole swinging, hanging, and climbing. These would be great for the pole, because they look like they stick, and that is what is needed for alot of dancers to hang on.

Better yet give the dancer a swinging pole! Would look great, walking off stage would not be do-able, so she would have to incorporate taking them off after her pole performance....Somehow on stage! Lol
