    Default Wigs

I've been thinking about getting a wig and working closer to home on occasion... problem is, I know nothing about wigs. The wig shops around here seem to have very limited selection, and I don't know what brands are good and not so good. The wig that I'm looking at is http://www.internationalwig.com/Merc...gory_Code=HHWL

Does anyone know about this brand or this wig or human vs synthetic hair or anything else that I need to know?

I don't know too much about wigs, but I know that it is better to have human hair. I think that it looks better, feels better, and you can do more with it i.e. color, curl, straighten.

About a month or two into dancing I wore a wig, and it did get me more attention. But I worried too much about it looking fake, falling off, or getting stuck at the top of the pole - like my girlfriend's did.

I hate my wig, and never wear it- too hot. But if you need to look different, buy one expensive one, maybe one made for chemotherapy patients...after all, you will be dancing under hot stage lights...
Be careful of dyed real hair wigs- a dancer I knew bought a cute blonde one that lit up funny under the blacklight because the bleach-out was uneven...whoops.

I own a wig but I don't wear it too much since it's a very different style than my natural hair and it might look weird to switch back and forth. Anyway I think you should try on wigs in a wig shop and see which styles and colors are good for you. The wigs in the wig shops are expensive-over a hundred dollars but they'll teach you a bit about them. Or you could try on the wigs in the wig shop to see what looks nice and then order online where they seem to be considerably cheaper. I saw a few wigs on ebay that I though looked really nice- but I haven't order a wig online so I don't know how good the quality is or how well the wig will stay on. The wigs that I saw on ebay and thought were sexy were under a search for playmate wig, showgirl wig. The ebay seller rocky mountain beauty has tons of wigs but I don't know much about any of the wig sellers on ebay-any way its fun to brose online and fanticize about really long hair.
