    Default sleazy guys

hey everybody. So far every time I've worked so many of the guys I talk to ask me for sex in exchange for money, they say "I'll pay you more than you could get here tonight", what's up with guys thinking that dancers are all prostitutes. Do you think I'm just running into all of the sleazy guys? Also, one of the dancers at the club is so mean, she's always glaring at me like she hates me. The last night I worked we kinda fell out , I really like this club but she is making me dread going to work. I went to one other club and worked a night, but it was too sleazy for me and all the girls were stoned and so was the manager, and he was a creepy older guy who seemed like he would ask you for "favors". There are only 2 other clubs within 50 miles of where I live, and both of them have reputations for offering "extras". How should I handle this problem.

Ignore the girl. She is a stupid insecure cunt and if you let her get to you, you let her win. She WANTS to run you out of the club obviously because she sees you as a threat. Act as if she's not even there. Look right through her if she says something to you and/or walk away like you didn't even see/hear her. She'll get tired of the games eventually and move on.

Turn down the assholes who proposition you and unless they're paying you, walk away without saying another word. Cops like to proposition girls to see who they can arrest, so a good policy is to just ALWAYS say hell no!

I am just a customer, so I would take advice from B over me any day of the year if I were you.

    I would respond by saying.
"I would be awfully careful about talking like that. I heard one of the bouncers beat the crap out of a guy last week for soliciting women for illegal acts."

If it is a cop, there is nothing true in what you said so no one can get in trouble. You are repeating a "rumor". If it is an innocent comment, it is about a vague unnamed person, not you. If it is the other kind of person (a-hole) it might intimidate them into behaving.

Welcome to the real world of exotic dancing. The problems you are describing, though they may be avoided by some, have been glaringly obvious wherever I have worked, and wherever my girlfriend has worked, and from what I have read here on SW, nearly everywhere else too.

The girl is jealous, and sees you as a threat to her money. Maybe one of her regulars told her how cute you were or something. Don't let her get to you. You will develop a tough edge in time and be able to blow off stupid bitches like her with relative ease.

The guys wanting sex is not so easy. It doesn't help that, as in so many other areas, your local clubs have plenty of girls who ARE for all intents and purposes prostitutes--albeit only to the extent of giving BJs, etc. This is why I am opposed to extras, because women like you are then subjected to this grossly insulting horseshit.

The majority of newbie dancers, in spite of all my attempts as their DJ to brace them and help them deal with the bullshit, only last about six months. The ones who continue can only do so if they develop a hardened exterior, which hopefully doesn't sink in too far.

My girlfriend, after a year, is doing quite well--but still comes home many nights with tales of revolting propositions and rude behavior in VIP. Of course in this area even the most "upscale" clubs, where the wealthiest clients are to be found, has dancers who regularly perform acts of prostitution.

If you plan to stay in the business, get used to it, especially if you have to sell dances in VIP or private areas....learn the art of not answering them, or just giggling, "let's hang out a little longer and we'll see........."

Once you feel that you have milked them of all they are willing to part with, without them becoming angry or vengeful, give them a firm NO.....

The true raincoaters will see through your psychological games immediately and drop you after 1-2 dances, but don't fret, its better that way.....

Other guys will have hope, and shell out more $$ for dances thinking they will have to pay less later, when you proudly walk out the door with him, ha, yeah right!!!

The girls at my club glare at each other, too. There are nice girls and snotty girls. I smile at everyone and ignore the BS. Don't talk smack about other girls even if you hate them. Save your comments for your husband. I've been able to stay out of all the drama by doing those two things.

Thanks everyone for all your advice, I worked last night and actually had a good customer who was polite and still spent money, so I stuck with him and still made good money. As for the girl at the club it as pretty much all blown over, she and I were fine around each other last night. I had a really good night at work. Thanks again for your advice, you guys rock.

Technically this is called entrapment, but prove it! It happens all the time.

As I recall from another post, Katrine has a $5K limit when she plays a customer this way. I like that.

Yeah...ignore that chick she is probably a miserable bitch anyway. If any one needs to make the effort to make you feel uncomfortable...you should be flattered. You know she keeps staring at you because she is in envy.

If a guy propositions me for sex I use the saying:
"That's like trying to order Red Rooster from McDonalds!" (or something similiar)

That's when I am feeling nice. Otherwise I will use a tactic another dancer I used to know does (it's nasty but hey.. you ask me for sex.. you kinda deserve it).. "There is a club located down the street called *club name*... you'll find what you want in there". It is a gay night club spot LOL!

If the punter comes back to me (none have so far), I will respond with.. "you said you wanted sex.. not what type of sex"

I can be mean but I usually stick with my Red Rooster-McDonalds saying. BTW Red Rooster is like KFC.

Let me just say that the strip club world is filled with glaring girls, the sleazy guys, drugs, and alot of other BS.
I adivse that you arm yourself with the following:

    1. CONFIDENCE-don't let those sleazy guys intimidate you
2.A Strong Backbone-well intact to handle girls' rude comments and glares, and customer rejections. Never take these things personally.
    3. People/Hustling Skills-learning to talk to customers the right way and selling dances
4.Common Sense-staying away from the drug scene! It's everywhere but you don't have to fall into it.

a bit of advice because the world of stripping requires you to be prepared....
