    Default Feet-great new product.. .

I don't know about you ladies, but my feet take a huge beating... they get so calloused from the shoes and I've been searching like crazy trying to find something to keep them soft.

Welp. I found it and its a great little miracle ointment. Its called Kerasol-found it at Walmart for 4.97. Put it on my feet right before I crawled into bed and wore socks over my feet, the next morning, my feet were so soft, so I did it again last night. Holy moly, this stuff is awesome! It exfoliates the skin and your feet feel like baby's.

    Just thought I'd share!

Thanks for the tip, Gynger! My feet are gross already, after only a week of dancing, and I can't seem to keep those calluses at bay. I'll try Kerasol.

Be careful ladies. I bought this stuff not so long ago and it made my feet worse. My skin peels off and I have to apply cream to them all the time.

I loved it at first but it wasn't for me. I think I'll just start doing weekly pedicures. they have a callus remover that works better for me. So much for saving money!

Oh Damn it all to hell Miss Taylor! I was hoping I had found something here.. but if its going to make my feet worse, perhaps I should go back to my pedicures too.... Thanks for the info.

I'm sorry sweetie. we could be totally different though. I'm sure if you stick with it, it will work great. I got too distracted by the peeling.

A great foot lotion is Foot Relief by Aveda. It's the best to maintian the softness after a pedicure!

I use a product called "Bare Foot" from FREEMAN. The one I have is a "softening foot lotion" so it doesnt do much blisters or anything but it keeps my feet as soft as a babys butt! Ive been addicted to it and the smell is great! Peppermint & Plum... sounds like an odd combination but it smells AWSOME! I still go for my regular pedicures but my pedicurist is always complimenting me on keeping my feet tidy (less work for her LOL). Plus the bottle itself is shaped like a foot (I'm soooo easily amused)!!!

Hahahhaha Tori that is so funny that you mentioned that. After rolling on the floor laughing I had to post something - I have the same problem. Sleeping with socks on totally weirds me out! I cant sleep with em on - so strange. With every boyfriend Ive had I have made it abundantly clear of the rule "no socks in bed" and "no socks during sex". FREAKY!

I use the feet lotion stuff from Blisslabs and it's wonderful. Actually I really like their scrubs too.

I may have many faults, but being wrong ain't one of them.

I'm just the opposite-I have to wear socks to bed! Unless I'm really tired, it's hard for me to fall asleep if I'm not wearing socks, isn't that weird?

I've used the peppermint foot lotion by Freeman too. I agree, it smells good and it keeps your feet soft. Vaseline and sleeping in socks works too.

I recently bought this foot spa at Wal-Mart; it was only about $30 and it feels so good on my feet. My feet get really nasty and calloused too after a long day of dancing, so they need all the TLC they can get! Of course, if you have a man to give you a footrub, that is the best! But I'm single right now, so I've been using my footspa.

I have to have socks in bed too. Just can't sleep without my tootsies all snuggled in.

I find the vaseline with socks overnight works great too! It's also great for hands, vaseline with cotton gloves. Fabulous!

I learned to do my own pedicures and it works for me. Saves me money and I like the self-pamper time.

i keep my feet super soft and PINK by using Podiatrist's Secret cream. i can only find it at ULTA beauty stores. its a big jar. it contains an acid that eats the dead skin- works like kerasol, but its cheaper. its $6, but you get a huge tub of it, instead of the little tube from kerasol.

i put it on after a shower, then socks on top. after 2 or 3 days of that, then the next day- after my shower, i scrub my feet with one of those foot sticks with the sandpaper stuff on it. dead skin just FALLS off. its magic, i swear.
ps- i dont dance, so my feet arent subjected to that all day, but i do wear sandals all the time and my feet get gross from that and exercising.

Does the kerosol actually "disolve" the callouses or just soften them? Anyone know?

kerasol contains ingredients that do "dissolve" the calluses and dry skin. those are the kinds of products you want to use on your feet. in my experience, its the only thing that really works. the podiatrists secret stuff "eats" the skin, too. sounds gross, but thats how you get it off instead of just making it softer.

    Hey Gynger,

Just wanted to see how this was working for you? Hopefully your feet are nice and soft. I wish it had worked for me

I've been using it, but I've noticed more of a "peeling" effect, and I stopped for a little while because it was just looking bad... My feet are softer, but where the problem areas were, the skin is softer, but is still "peeling"... kinda gross.
