How many of you ladies would use the professional services of a customer or club regular? WOuld it just depend on how hard up you are?

Right now I need a traffic attorney and while I plan on shopping around for the most qualified reperesentative (in my price range) I'm debating calling any of the numerous attorneys who frequent my stripclubs.....What do you ladies do?

Lol Nina! I brought my customers to the clubs, who are mainly doctors. I work for a hospital too!

One of my customers is an attorney and recently offered her help in renegotiating the terms of my lease for lower rent. She has offered her help in other (more personal) aspects of my life, which I have declined. There is also an accountant who has been handling the taxes of many of the dancers in my area for a number of years. I'm not sure if he started out as a customer or not, but I met him through the club. He did my taxes this year and also offers help in financial planning.

This is strictly up to you. However, it DOES mean that you'll be sharing info about your personal life with a club customer, which always involves a certain amount of risk. However, in the case of an Attorney, the code of professional ethics should make that risk fairly negligible.

A customer who is a lawyer reccomended a divorce lawyer to me (the customer doesn't practice family law). I've been very happy with him.

My boyfriend is an accountant and has done taxes for several dancers/bartenders since before he and I were dating.

On the other hand, there is a regular who is an accountant, and he is the sketchiest person I have ever met, but girls have him do their taxes. If that man knew where I lived or had my bank information (for electronic filling) I would die.

I think it really depends on the customer, how long you have known him, and if you trust him. Be choosy! And Melonie's comment about the code of ethics is dead-on... it's not a guarantee, but combined with a good opinion of the individual, it goes a long way.

I did also and had only great experiences.
I had an accountant customer that did my taxes, an eye doctor that I went to and a police officer - not that I used his services, but gotta love those PBA/FOP cards!

I'm the opposite side of the fence. I was very careful to maintain a "wall" between my dancing and my life outside of dancing. Only a couple of people in the club knew my real name or anything about me, and NONE of the customers.

I have never taken advantage of a customers outside services. I probably could though if i needed to.

This is why I keep business cards. I have used several of the services of my customers with no issues or problems. Every time I get a business card for something I might need in the future (tax accountant, dentist, insurance broker, lawyer, doctor etc) I put it in my rolodex.

I don't take advantage of their services, I pay them for what I need, just as they pay me for the dances they receive from me.

Theres a lawyer who comes into my club regularly. From what I gather he often counsels the ladies regarding their personal legal problems. Word is he doesnt mind giving a few freebies but usually wants some compensation. Apparently, hes open to bartering or straight out invoiced legal fees, ladies choice. I hear bartering seems to be the most popular form of payment.

I have used the customer services before. I think the only one is for dental work. I did dances to pay off my veniors (sp?). I did a total of 30 dances for them at 40 a dance. This worked out well for me, since my husband dropped me off at the app. and picked me up.

When it comes to really giving out personnal info though I would be careful. I have had stalkers follow me, try to run me off the highway, and call my husband saying he was having sex with me all the time. So the best advice is to be careful!!

Well ladies thanks for the responses!

Just to clear things up...I'm really not looking for advice, just checking to see what others have done. I usually get referrals from family/friends for those types of things, but I know lots of customers use club contacts to market thier businesses, and I wondered how many women actually use the services............

Using a service of an attorney is not a big deal. I have a customer who is a tax attorney and I use him every year to go over my tax return and advise me on anything he might add/change.

You can get a "background check" on your lawyer here before you hand over any retainer fees....Check for suspensions, suits against him, bankruptcies etc.

This site is just for Illinois, but Google for your state.
