Not too personal, you should be able to figure this out....
$20 X 12 X 40 X 52 = $499200
$20 a song.
Average 5 min. a song
40Hr a week.
52 weeks a year.

Whatever ! We wish !
Who works 52 weeks a year ? That's zero time off. And no dancer is dancing every minute of every hour they are working. Not to mention tip outs and house fee's that eat up approx 20 % or more of the nightly earnings every shift.
I'd say an average US dancer is earning between $500-$2000 a week, 48 weeks a year. So anywhere between $24,000 - $100,000 a year depending on location and club BEFORE taxes.

The majority of dancers at the club my friends work at have to be making in the 20-45k range, ignoring taxes and other sources of income.
I think a lot of dancers salary ends up being whatever their monthly rent+food+pot+gas times 12 is.

But as anyone knows, the real lucrative business person will choose a lemonade stand at $0.75 per glass, figure $0.50 per lemonade is profit. It only takes about 12 seconds to pour a cup, so...
12 per a $0.50 cup = 5 cups per minute
5 per minute x 60 minutes = 300/hour x 40 hours = 12,000 cups per week
52 weeks a year = 624,000 lemonades per year @ $0.50 = $312,000
So any idiot knows for just a tad shy of that stripper income, you could be kicking it outside, not have to take off your clothes and just sell lemonade!
tee hee
It doesn't matter if you're somebody in this world, it rather matters you mean the whole world to somebody.
We all work different amounts each week....some girls work one shift a week, others work 7. Some work a 4 hour shift, others do 10. Some do days, some do nights.
Me, personally, I work hard and make a great living.

Probably not going to get very many direct answers to you question, but the numbers, ignoring the low and high money nights, for the average dancer at my club look like this(ignoring house fees and tipout):
Work three nights a week. More near rent time, less after rent is paid.
Stage 3-4 times a night. 5-15 people or so sitting at the stage. 5-20 dollars each time on.
Dances 2-5 or so. 15 dollars the dancer keeps per dance.
Somewhere in the 50-200 range for most nights, with a 0 night and a 500 night every once in a while.

I may live like I make 60-70k a year, but really I make around 20k. Just ask the IRS.
Edited to add: That I work 4hr shifts, 2-3 nights a week, taking 4-5 weeks off minimum yearly.
I work about 7-10 days a month.....$5000 a month potential...but I'm happy making about $1500-2000 per an intense 3 day run.....couldn't hande stripping full time...it becomes frustrating....
I am a huge advocate of part-time stripping with the occasional out of club private for the nicer fellow which runs them about $2k....but its not for everyone.....

i make about 5K a month working a scheduled 3 day week, 7hr shifts each dayshift. hourly average approx $50 or so, but after tipouts I take home about $300/shift. I hear night shift there's way more money but I'm so comfortable with the ease of dayshift to give it up.
If I just do my stage shows (6 days, 5 per day, 18 minutes per show) I usually make $1000 after commissions/fees/tipouts/taxes. This is the same for most girls in Van (within a couple hundred$ leeway each way).
If I work the floor too, it increases 25-100%, depending on my mood and how hard I work. Working the floor is a lot harder up here because so few girls do it, the guys don't expect it. It's like going up to a guy in a pub and offering him a dance, lol! The American guys are cool and will usually get one, but they generally expect contact.

Agreed, Gynger.
Although, I work hard, and play soft. I like saving my money for a rainy day (or new outfits for my little girl).
It's also nice to go on several vacations a year...so, save, save, save, and then enjoy.![]()

I made $1000 working 5 days, 7 hour shifts except one 9 hour one, last week, I've worked two days this week and my total for this week is $280. I'm crossing my fingers for $500 this week. It varies a lot. There are girls at my club who make $500 the nights I make $100, completely clean.

This cracks me up because just tonight I talked to one of those "you all make 1K a night" doofuses. I tried explaining to him all the variables involved in how much we actually make, and two minutes later I overhear him talking to his pals about "getting a lecture"!Originally Posted by Bridgette link=board=27;threadid=9493;start=msg113899#msg113 899 date=1085516974
His eyes kinda glazed over when I explained regional affluence, a dancer's selling skills and appearance and the club's cut as variables. Oh well...
