    Default NYC clubs

    Hey everyone!

This is my first post, and I have to say that this is a great site!! I'm surprised I have never heard about it before.
Now, to my question: 1st of all, Penthouse Executive Club. Any reviews, good club to dance at? Good $$ (ballpark)? nice girls? b*tchy girls? What kind of mileage?
Any opinions about other NYC clubs? Which are the best?

~Any help would be greatly appreciated.. Feel free to email me directly also!~ [email protected]

    Paige

PS: I posted this same message on a different board, then I found this one.. sorry to have posted twice!!

Paige- of all the clubs in NYC - PEC is the best. They treat the dancers well & it has BIG $ POTENTIAL; repeat
POTENTIAL. You MUST hustle VIP's and C.R.'s to make
big $ there AND summers in NYC are TOUGH ! Average
range ( this is 2d hand mind you ) is $500 to $1500.
Some nights can go much higher- $2500 plus. Dancer
attitudes range from very sweet to catty & jealous BUT
there is reportedly less drama than at most other clubs.
MILEAGE- Officially it's a "NO MILEAGE" club but rules
definitely get bent behind closed doors.
Stay away from Scores- it's going to hell in a handbasket and the dancers are bearing the brunt.

Kid is absolutely correct that PEC has clearly distinguished itself as THE Manhattan club for very upscale Gentleman's club customers. Also, because of Scores (East) persistence in charging dancers outrageous stage fees in the face of falling business levels and falling dancer earnings potential, PEC has also become THE Manhattan club for top notch dancers. As posted elsewhere, while PEC originally hired girls who were 'less than top notch' in order to staff the club, with their increasing success they have managed to attract the attention of virtually every top notch dancer in the NY/NJ area as well as many top notch travelling dancers - to the point of getting rid of most of the 'less than top notch' girls they originally hired plus being overbooked during the most lucrative nights of the week. In a nutshell, PEC is a great club to work at ... IF they will hire you.

Scores (East) is facing the opposite situation. As earnings potential has declined, top notch dancers have left. Scores (East) then had little choice but to lower their hiring standards to some degree in order to attract enough girls to staff the club. However, since Scores (East) has not significantly reduced the stage fee, many 'less than top notch' girls who can now get hired at this club run the risk of leaving the club with peanuts after paying the stage fee and tipout. At present, Scores (East) is still very viable because many girls think of the Scores reputation of the past and are unaware of the recent changes, plus many 'less than top notch' girls are willing to work there as a sort of 'status symbol'. However, unless something changes for the better, 'less than top notch' girls will discover (as some of the smarter ones already have) that NET earnings potential is actually better for them at many 'second tier' NY/NJ clubs once the differential in stage fees and tipouts and Manhattan expenses are factored in.

Melonie is correct (as usual) about Scores. In fact, I
know several dancers who left their usual clubs to
try Scores. All but one came back bitching about the
club; the way they treat the dancers; the outrageous
house fees, tip-outs AND Kickbacks! to the hosts/bouncers. It seems like every non-dancing
employee puts their hands into the dancers purses.
The customer WOM on the place is even worse,
notwithstanding Howard Stern's shilling for the place.
Last but not least, the lawsuit by the customer who got stuck with a bill for $28,000 on his CC ( and the negative publicity) has hurt their already sagging reputation.
