    Default Vitamin E

Has anyone here used Vitamin E as lip gloss?
If you poke a hole in a Vitamin E capsule and squeeze some onto your lips it gives them a beautiful glossy shine that doesn't stick (I hate how some lip glosses make my lips all sticky and gross). I make sure I put it on before bed every night especially and my lips are never dry or chapped.
I don't think there are any risks involved absorbing it through skin, but if there is someone let me know!!

Actually, i put this around my eyes before bed a couple times a week. It's also great for scars, new incisions, ect.

I've never tried it on lips, but I do know that it is great for scars, burns, hair loss, etc, so I dont think it'd hurt you by using it on your lips!

    Vitamin E is very good....

Like someone mentioned...for scars or any other minor cuts or scrapes. It prevents scarring and aids in healing.

Its also an excellent moisturizer. I use it in teh winter on my lips or on my face which gets dry from shaving.

When i was in a car accident when I was 18 the whole right side of my face was nicely ripped up...i kept vitamin E on it for over 2 months...healed perfectly...no scars at all.

If you have any surgery keep vitamin E on the scar for months afterward....its worth it.

You dont need to break open the pills...they sell it in little jars at the pharmacy...one little jar will last a LONG time.
