I should have registered sooner to be with you original cool crowd.

I lurked for quite awhile. I remember back in the day when there was stripperpower.com

At least I think that was the website.

I am right over the 500 mark, but I glanced over the listing from beginning to about 500 and I must say looking over that list made me remember some of the weird posts and wackjobs that we have dealt with from time to time. I'm actually glad some of the earlier members only posted once or twice and then ran away and I'm glad some of those with something to add have stuck around. Thanks everyone for keeping at least a little bit of the not old, but past, stripperweb vibe around.

How did this one get by me!?

Old schooler here too! El numero dos - damn "admin" beat me!

It's wonderful to have so many active old schoolers. It's been a great ride and I'm honored to have you all play such a large part in it!

Leigh, we're working to bring back that smaller, less busy feel...tricky I know, but we're up to the challenge.
We all imagine ourselves the agents of our destiny, capable of determining our own fate. But have we truly any choice in when we rise, or when we fall, or does a force larger than ourselves bid us our direction. Is it evolution that takes us by the hand, does Science point our way, or is it God who intervenes keeping us safe.

So much struggle for meaning, for purpose. And in the end, we find it only in each other. Our shared experience of the fantastic. And the mundane. The simple human need to find a kindred, to connect. And to know in our hearts... that we are not alone.

Oh Pryce, sorry it seems I have whinged on that point more than once, it comes with that old saying about change I mentioned here.

I meant no disrespect and well sh*t happens, and you either roll with it or get out of the way.

I mostly attribute much of the endless pages and blather to one sentence responses almost in real time, that may well have gone to chat for the little it contibuted to the thread, but hear hear for the effort to bring in moderators to reduce that sorta thing and well, am I the only one who wonders what the hell rabbits have to do with stripping? LOL, funny but after so many of those type nonsensical threads I just started tuning out.

In that manner I miss the old stripperweb, where as I read almost everything, and was considerably more active on the board.

Now I hit 2 catagories tops, and I am ghandi, outtie, asta la vista baby.

We are huge now - I think we are 6 or 7 thousand? Although I bet if you had some sort of way to see who was active or not I would bet the farm a large number arent.

Are the old accounts that are inactive after say a year deleted?
Or do we have dead accounts still adding to the final tally as members?
I was always curious about that....

Don't worry Leigh, I take no offense. Like any other community we're constantly evolving and changing. Some will miss the "old days" others will be excited about what's around the corner.

Our plan is to keep most boards on topic with a few "Lounge-ie" areas where people can play as they wish. This will give us focused boards with quality information and play boards where personallity can be shown and fun had. We're also planning on creating some sort of group system where members can create little areas to themselves so it's more like the corner store than a mall...more to come as we flesh out the details.

Accounts are not deleted. MOST people (more than half) are lurkers - they signup and visit often, but never post. Some also signup and never come back, but we want to leave them with the option of doing so. I just had a member who left about a year and a half ago come back (before that he was VERY active) and PM me - it was great to hear from him. I wouldn't want to force him or others to re-signup to participate again.

Have great day - it's beautiful here - think I'll catch some sun!
