So what you're saying is that string tucking isn't reliable?Yeah, I imagine that is between a rock and a hard place...

Wow, really? That must be hell. At least you only have it 3 days! It's so heavy that the Super Plus tampons need to be changed every 20-30 minutes.
I have mine for about 6, but only the first couple days are heavy and even those days I can wear a Super Plus for about 4 hours or so.
This is what I plan to do, too. I use lighter ones anyway and I don't plan to make that pushing motion on stage or while doing dances (why the hell would I?), nor are we allowed to spread, so I'm sure it'll stay put. And just like you said, if I can't find the bit of string later, I can usually push it a good portion of the way out and just pull.Originally Posted by voodoo link=board=5;threadid=9781;start=msg118595#msg1185 95 date=1086541332
Of course, for girls who have trouble keeping tampons in, this could be a bad option...
girls girls get that cash,
if it's 9-5 or shakin' your ass.
ain't no shame, ladies do your thang.
just make sure you stay ahead of the game.

I had one dancer do a nude private dance and I noticed the string dangling from her twat but she had such a hot body I didn't care![]()
I have always cut the string. I find it very easy to change out. I go to the bathroom, squat and squeeze while i insert 2 fingers and pull it out. You need a lubricant while doing this. I use K-Y, it's very easy after all these years. Also, you can't lose the tampon inside you. But, if you have long fake nails this method may not work well.

I'm a super-plus tampax user no matter what type of flow when I'm dancing. But generally I won't dance the first day may be 2. I soak even super-plus way too quick on the first day. I never cut the string all the way off. I pull out the bottom half of the applicator and cut the string level with the bottom edge of the top half of the applicator (did that make sense?). There's a bit of string left to pull on. I just push it up there and check everytime in the mirror before I go on stage.
