To MasonDixon:
Hey. Don't think I'm a weirdo for posting this, but... I saw your avatar on one of your posts and noticed that you and I have similar features, so I was hoping maybe you could help me out. I have a hard time with makeup because I 'm a blue-eyed brunette with light skin and nothing seems to work right on me. A lot of dancers seem to do the porn-star thing and it looks great on them but I look ridiculous. Anyway, your makeup scheme looked awesome, so I was hoping you might have some suggestions for me. I have a pretty good complexion and I can't find a foundation that I like, so I use the Physician's Formula pressed to loose powder twister thing (LOVE IT!), and a little of the PF blush. My eyelid hardly shows when my eye is open, so most of the eyeshadow looks awful on me. I usually just do eyeliner, mascara, and a really soft, silver/grey eyeshadow. My natural liptone always seems really pink/red to me and I feel like Malibu Barbie, so I use MAC Lipglass that has goldish tones to ease the pinkness. Any other suggestions? I hope this isn't totally unwanted or anything. I have been trying so hard to find that nice, understated Playboy-style makeup on someone with similar features as mine. You look beautiful!

Re:To MasonDixon:
Smittenkitten, I would send MasonDixon a PM; she'll probably respond to you more quickly. Sometimes I don't have time to look at all the different boards on here and read all the messages, but I read my PM's as soon as I log on.

Re:To MasonDixon:
AWWW! Thanx kitten! I wear Mac Studio fix for foundation and sometimes I use Lacome Adaptive and set it with a litte loose powder either are great! As for my eyes I use black or blue liquid liner on the top and a pencil on the bottom because if you use liquid on the bottom it will make your eyes look closed or smaller than they already are. Make sure when you apply liner to the top lid that you make it thin! When you apply eyeshadow only put it on the lid and use light or neutral colors. I prefer a shimmery peach or cream color. On my lips I always use gloss. Nice and Shiny! Stay away from the real pink colors. Use something a little darker with a bronzed or golden tone to it. After that put couple layers of black mascara and your ready to go! I hope this helps!
