    Default Warning-Lots Of Questions

Hi, everyone! I have been dancing for two months and I still have many questions, I hope one of you vets/newbies/customers/dj's/ whoever can help me out

1- I dance in South Carolina (not Myrtle Beach) and genarally work Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
I was trying to come up with general idea of a minumum and maxium for each night.
What kind of "goal" could/should I shoot for?
2- I have been thinking of doing a little bit of advertising for myself to bring in some customers that may hopefully become regulars.
I was thinking of either doing some nice little cards with my stage name, the days i work, and maybe a many pic from my neck down..or a sillulete of my body. Then put the club name on the back. I figured I would pass them out in like nice resturants to like the busboys and stuff, or at some of the local nightspots, cars shows, bike night etc. Have any of you ladies ever done this/ set up a website, and did help with building clientle (if you did this more than once.)?
3- What have nights been like in your club since the begining of May...good, bad, so-so?
4- If you go on stage what do you find you do better with as far as stage tips...pole tricks, floor work, strolling? Slowly removing your clothes, or dropping them in less than 2 secs?
5-How do you excuse yourself from tables where the gentlemen have made it clear that they will not be spending anymore money tonight/ the conversation is hotel-talk?

I apologize this is so long but Im only going to be dancing for 4 more months and want to make the most of it as possible.

You know when the fast food places have the fundraisers with cards you put your name on for a dollar? That's all I've ever done is buy one and write in big easy to read letters "Onyxxx at Cassidy's"
I've even had guys come in from it. They think it's nice because the money goes to good causes. I've never done business cards or photos or anything, but I've got some regulars ready and waiting for glossy's of me when I get around to doing it. That's the only way anybody would get a pic like that is to pay for it and be someone I know.

Hi - Dallas here...Every night is different. I try to make at least 70-100 per hour. Of course this is all based on how crowded the night is.

I am not good at these things. I have different clientle every night. Be careful of stalker people.

Fridays are awesome. Every other night is hit or miss.

    Strolling!

I say "Well, let me know if you change your mind."

Well you definetly don't want to come up with a maximum in your mind--not even subconsciously thinking I only need $700--- thats a self limiting and self fulfilling thought process and it will lead you exactly there...... I think to myself, with every guy I sit with, I want every dime in his pocket!

    Patron's POV

1- What kind of "goal" could/should I shoot for?
Whatever your body and bank account can handle:

2- I have been thinking of doing a little bit of advertising for myself to bring in some customers that may hopefully become regulars.
Get a decent but inexpensive Web site. Have one built with an interactive calendar so you can update it with your dance schedule and keep a journal for people to read. Don't have a customer make the site unless you pay for it. You could get one for 5/600 not including the monthly hosting fee.

4- ...stage tips...pole tricks, floor work, strolling? Slowly removing your clothes, or dropping them in less than 2 secs?
We (i.e. guys) seem to like pole tricks quite a bit, but I'm not sure it will get you tips because you're pretty busy with the pole. I tend to tip at any time, but have noticed that my buddies won't tip until the clothes are actually off. My suggestion is to do whatever you want but make a lot of eye contact and smile when someone meets your eyes.

5-How do you excuse yourself from tables...
We are not offended when you must go as long as it's friendly. "I've enjoyed the conversation, but I need to go work the floor." is succinct and polite.
