    Default Is this a problem?

Hi girls.... I was just wondering about what do you dancers think about girls who just want to work a few nites in your club and then take off? Does the managers think this is low or do they expect it because most dancers move club to club? I ask this because I did this to a few clubs, danced a nite and then never came back. What if I want to go back again for a nite or two? Think they would let me?

It probably depends on where you're from.

I've done this countless times. Go in, ask the door girl if you're still in the computer, if you are then get to work...if not, talk to the manager about working that night. Last time I did this I just told the girl "i worked here one night a LONG time ago...what do I need to do to get re-started?"

I'm in the Detroit area, the clubs seem pretty easy and are always looking for girls anyway. They usually let anybody in.... I was just wondering if anyone gets upset over girls doing this? I always looked at it like the customers don't wanna see the same girls every time they come in.....

Our club is the same way Michelle... they will let any dancer come in for the night even if its one of our busy nights. I understand that some girls dont do this 7 days a week and only wanna come in maybe 3 times a month but to me it gets kind of annoying. I know there is another club around here that is very "regime-like"... they dont even let dancers audition cause the girls who work there have their own group thing going on and for this kind of a club I have no tolerance.

I am a regular at the club I work at. Ive been working there for 6 months non-stop 5 days a week. Thats nothing in comparison to the ladies which have been working there on a regular basis for years but people know tat even if I do take a break in the future that I will come back. Im seen as a regular there and you can always count on me being their on certain days.

I have nothing against new girls coming in to work but I wish they would stay for a few months instead of just a week. Fridays is our busiest night and when I walk in there I see about 20 faces I have never seen before. Pain in the butt. Some girls will come in a few times a month only on our busiest nights which usually cause conflicts in schedules and stuff. Its great for customers to see fresh faces but our managment is starting to recognize this "trend". I think that on Fridays (busiest night) that girls who have been working there for a certain period of time should be able to dance. In some aspect I think you need to earn to get a spot on Fridays instead of just walzing in whenever you feel like it cause you know that its going to be busy.

Im at the club when we have 50 sustomers and Im there when we have 5! I work no matter how slow or busy it is because it shows respect towards the managment and it assures them that the regular dancers WILL be there no matter what. I know some clubs take advantage of this but our management appreciates those of us who are there when the going gets tough and we are equally rewarded in return. Ok this post has gotten way too long but at least my pinion is out there.
You think you know... but you have no idea!

I assume you're talking about a smaller club. Personally, I don't care as long as you're not the type who does really nasty lap dances because you don't give a fuck and won't be here the next day.

In the clubs that I work in (bearing in mind that I live in hell aka Salt Lake City), this is such a no go. they can our asses for that. And on top of it, they make us sign non competition agreements. ? I still dont get it.

I was never the nasty type. I just wanted to dance a nite or two for fun but I never wanted the management to know because I was afraid they wouldn't let me dance... Alot of the time they let me in with no dance card. Says alot huh? I know but it was just for fun...... No disrespect

I dont find it disrespectful at all. It could get annoying if its like Pisces says (only Saturdays and 20 new faces) but if its a few days and stuff and you are just there to do your job, then so what if the girls dont like it? Make your money!

No scheduling in any club I've ever danced in (mostly Texas). I LOVE it! Sorry ladies, but that's one of the perks and advantages of what we do...freedom to move around and work whenever the hell we feel like it!

clubowners can be really edgey about clubhopping dancers here in the northeast, where there is a surplus of dancers and where limited number of dancers per shift and rigid advance dancer schedules are the norm. Some clubowners even go so far as to send out 'spies' to pose as customers in competing clubs in order to see which dancers are working for the 'competition', which can potentially get a dancer 'blacklisted' if she attempts to return to her original club after working for the 'competition'.

    Wow, that's harsh.

I don't see why it should be a problem, but I do think it would be better if the clubs had a set number of girls they allowed on the floor, and the regular girls were given priority, so only a few fist come fist serve new girls could work the busy nights.

I find it to be kinda rude girls who show up only on the weekends. When I would move around I'd at least give the clubs a full week or 2. Unless it sucked of course. I try to give respect to the regular girls at the bar I'm going to. I'd want the same.
