    Default Jessica Simpson's Dessert Line!

okay i honestley hate jessica simpson i know some people love her but not me, so i was thinking her new product line dessert sounds cool but i dont know, anyways i went to visit my sister this weekend and we stopped at a sephora i totally caved for the bubblebath.. and i absolutley loved it and I ended up spending a fortune, but i love it and i get lots of compliments they have 3 scents/tastes, I only bought dreamy (silky, sinfully rich milk chocolate and coconut confection flavors) but AMAZING! Ended up coming home just to think about buying more, but i reccomend it (especially the bubble bath) for lounging around, time with your man, or gosh anything, havn't danced with it on lol but who knows maybe they'd like it even the face makeups edible lol heres a link if your interested http://www.sephora.com/browse/brand_...=B10&x=25&y=13

It is so good. The Creamy line is so good. It really does taste like a yummy cake batter. They are usually pretty sheer though.

I don't like Jessica Simpson either. I read a magazine interview by her in Allure magazine and she made lots of remarks that she's a Christian and a minister's daughter and growing up she didn't have much money so her parents bought her clothes then returned them after she wore them once. She also made remarks that she coulldn't do things other popular singers do because she's a Christian. She seems hypocritical and spoiled to me. She also said in the Allure interview that it's been annoying people coming up to her and saying it's okay if you don't know how to do laundry because she said it was an act on the tv show. But all she can do now is sit back and smile because acting dumb on the tv show is her road to Hollywood sucess. I also heard that record execs wanted her to lose weight even though she only weighted 102 lbs- Hollywood's standard of thiness is so strict! Anyway sorry about the long post- I usually don't do the Hollywood gossip but I couldn't resist.

Is everything in this line to be enjoyed with not only your sense of smell but taste as well? The descriptions on Sephora are kind of vague...

I can relate to JS because I have some good blonde moments myself but I think she puts on more of a show. Is her line really edible?? How is pricing?

I bought the juicy perfume spray it smells great in the bottle but does not last, i sprayed it on and 1 min later i could barely smell it there was no staying power whatsoever perhaps i should have bought the lip gloss instead-

Damn, those products are expensive! :o

Maybe when I have some extra money I'll try them out, but for now I'll stick to Bath & Body Works stuff. It's a lot less expensive and I get compliments when I wear their Creamy Coconut and Warm Vanilla Sugar lotion and body sprays.

I just got my Deliciously Kissable Hot Topping in the mail! I ordered the Slide flavor (caramel softened with steamed milk and vanilla bean) mmmm..... It is a bit expensive though. I hope it lasts a while!

I like J.S., I find her refreshingly naive. We need more of that and less angrey, bnitter, cynical people out there. Phoney or not, she's a nice girl, a good voice (when she tries) and no matter how dumb she may seem at times, I would sooner hang out with her than Avril Levigne any day. And that's from a Canadian girl too....lol....

Okay back to the point,,,,dessert line? Please tell me more! Maybe it hasn't made it's way up to Canada yet...

I bought the lip plumper (VENUSSSS!!!) but its not as good as lipvenom. BUT the one from JS tastes kinda nice. I also bought the body pouf/ powder which tastes like cake. Its pretty nice and glittery though the products dont have much staying power.

They look pretty (of course) and smell nice, i have a friend who tries everything, she says the products are too expensive for what you get. Not long lasting, and some just too strong smelling. I myself have seen the lip plumper. I did not try it, but hear also it does nothing.

Not to get off topic but SHIT, has anyone tried NYC lip kiss gloss??????? That stuff is like friggin super glue!!!! I put it on, and had to wipe as much as i could off, and theni STILL had left over gloss for hours. I would never kiss a guy, he would be in for a big surprise! Shit.

They sell Js prods on QVC shoppin' channel. When they did an on air w/her a lot of things were sellin' out. I thought they were pricey. Usually, Q has better prices than retail. Probaly on their site, qvc.com. By the way, I saw Liz Phair on VH1, & she said strippers annoy her, but porn stars are ok. What's up with that

That sucks, I used to adore her in the exile in guyville days. Screw you liz phair!

I would never buy a js product, that girl is just too much. She gets by in life on her giant boobs, which is fine, IF you admit that that's the reason.

I saw it too! I have Liz's first 3 albums and liked them a lot. The last couple she put out were absolutely crap. She obviously crossed over to the dark side. If you listen to her older stuff, one would think she wants women to be empowered...fuck her ( she doesn't look so good anymore either....doh!)

js line is OVER-RATED. I bought some creamy, dreamy and juicy perfume and it has little to no staying power. Whats the point of perfume when it doesn't linger around a bit?

Just another way for these stars to make money. Her line isnt great, overpriced, BUT its cutesy and tastes good so she makes money. I could have thought of that.
