    Default Guilty as charged

    What would you do??? ???

Your in the VIP room during a lapdance special with 30+ lapdances going on at the same time.couches have 2-3 girls on each one so its packed.
    Its two weeks before xmas.
You notice one of the girls giving a lapdance digging in her small purse with one hand while still giving the lapdance.
After the lapdances are over, one of the entertainers is yelling that she had 500 dollars taken out of her purse by the guy who she gave the lapdance to.
The guy was searched, embarrassed, and didnt have the money on him,he left of course.
When i saw the purse,I almost chit my pants.
The girl on the couch next to her giving a lapdance was the one i saw with her hand in the purse!!!!

    stone cold busted!!!!!!!

The entertainer who had the money stolen is a good friend of yours, single, and has kids. She is broke and again, its two weeks before xmas.

    what do you do???

BTW,the girl who stole the money is married to the owner of the club.

BUST HER. I don't care who she is, if you saw her stealing money you'll obviously be able to find the money on her or in her belongings in a search. It doesn't matter who she is or who she stole from. If you see some bitch stealing, you open your mouth and do something about it. Time of year also has no relevance. Stealing is stealing.

In this case if she's married to the owner and she is caught red-handed, everybody in the club should know what's going on, this way at least there's some chance the owner and his thieving bitch wife won't do much if anything in the way of retaliation. Furthermore, if the bitch is stealing from other girls she's probably stealing from the bar too, being the owner's wife and all.

I realize being married to the owner gives her a certain degree of free-reign, but you can't just sit by and let this crap go on. I'd have the cameras trained on that bitch every second after that too. Nothing like cold hard evidence.

I dont know for sure, b/c i dont know the people....

If you tell your friend....then shes going to have to use your name to prove it, otherwise its just one person's word against another.

It doesnt seem like you have much of an option...you can either speak up and tell your boss what happened...and if hes a good guy hell get her back her 500....if hes not...he might ignore it or fire her or fire you or fire you both...again...i dont know the situation. Or you can just say nothing.

I'd go with telling the boss and your friend....if it goes bad it goes bad...sometimes you have to take teh hard road to do whats right.

Oh yeah and tell your friend to strap her money onto a garter on her thigh or ankle, DON'T ever carry it in a purse! Geeeez, that's just asking for it to get stolen!

tell on the thief...if she's married to the owner she likely doesn't need the money (although there are exceptions) and is doing this for the power trip, klepto reasons, whatever. and it will continue until she's caught red-handed.

That is very, very, very wrong. I would not let her get away with it. She's married to the owner of the club? Big deal. Act like a thief, get punished like a thief. Not only should she be required to pay that other girl the $500 back, but she should be fired and banned from the club. I don't care if she's married to the owner or not. That kind of behavior is unacceptable...and it caused the loss of a customer (innocent in this case) and bad news travels fast.

Ditch the thief...if the owner/manager plays favorites with this one...then it's not the kind of club one would want to work at.

WTF is the owner's wife doing stripping anyway? Doesn't he make enough $$ for her? Nothing suks more than working yer arse off all night to end up with nothing because of a skank. Especially when the money is needed so badly. It is probably too late anyway. They would have to catch her at the time to be able to bust her. Can't decifer someone's cash from someone elses'. You should talk to the girls tho' and let them mess with her. She might not be given the opportunity to steal again. I hate it when that happens...

Owner's wife or not...if you're dancing on the floor, you are a dancer and subjected to the rules that pertain to all of the dancers. To blatantly disregard that for one dancer because of her "status" is to open a Pandora's box. I do not believe that the other girls should "go after" this dancer, however. If management will not do anything to the dancer because of her marriage to the owner, then the chances of the other girls getting fired for "harassing" this dancer would be quite certain.

I would go over to the dancer who had her money stolen and tell her what I saw. Then I'd ask what SHE wanted to do about it (hell, she may say "shit, I don't wanna get into it with the owners wife!"). Either that or go straight to management and tell them what you saw (you don't necessarily know she's the wife of the owner, right?! ;-) You just saw what you saw).

Chop her hand off.. perhaps she won't steal again...

Of course, I am kidding... but, still, wrong is wrong. Don't care who she is or what kind of friend she is-I'd confront her. What if it were you that were getting ripped off?

So sad that girls have to do this kinda shit.

Oh, and the two weeks before Xmas thing: There are always places willing and eager to help children who are needy.

I hate to say it, but this is one of those where I'd find her in the parking lot away from her hubby. I dont give a crap who you are or who you know. If you have to steal in order to make it in this business, quit and go to McDonalds. This is the lowest, most retarded thing that I ever see. We had a problem with it at my old club and she figured out that it WASNT a good idea.

LOL I'd definitely have to teach her a little lesson. I personally wouldn't care who her hubby was. I'd drop her, and walk on to the next club.

It was many years ago.I didnt tell her.

I felt at the time it was best.I know my friend would have kicked her ass right there in front of god and country, and not even think twice about needing that job real bad at the time.
I knew her situation outside of the club.It wasnt good.
I knew she would have been fired for saying anything,if not on the spot,it would have only been a matter of time before the boss or his wife came up with something.
I also knew she would make that money back later that night or that week.

She is now a feature quality entertainer, working at a different club .She has not had money taken from her since that happened,i ask her often when i see her.lol

I guess the question is,should I still feel guilty for not saying anything,or are things friends do for friends sometimes better left unsaid?

That would be a tough situation. Sometimes we don't tell people things and it all turns out ok. You may have done her a favor by not telling her if you knew that she would throw caution to the wind.

But, since it happened so long ago...it's water under the bridge. I would say that it's time to let it go and forget about it.
