Of course...but which customers are easier to make a buck from? None of you find better green with a certain age grpup. One of my friends says grandpop is the best because they are so happy to have so much youth around them.

they are all happy to have the attention!

it depends....some grandads look like they are on Social Security some some 30 year olds are in expensive suits

I do avoid really young guys (21-25ish)....but don't have favorites among the older ones.

Older, Older, Older. They have money and are nicer and more mature over all. Even though I am 22 I have always felt more mature for my age so sometimes I am talking to a guy my age and I just can't handle a conversation with him. I feel very comfortable with guys my dad's age for some reason. But I do feel very uncomfortable with guys in their early thirties in buisness suits for some reason. ???

I want your money no matter what your age....I just usually avoid them because they don't spend as much. There have been notable exceptions.

They are usually a last resort or have to make the first move.

I feel the same way. I've always that that, at least for me it's because those are the types of guys that are of dating and "marrying" status for me. I always hate that they may be talking to me and buying dances from me, but in the end go home to their "good" girlfriend. I feel like they are the ones that look down on me. If I met him in my reg. clothes at a party or something he would look at me differently then he does when he meets me at the club. I always feel like I have something to prove to that type.. Like, "hey, I go to school, and have a family and a dog." i.e. I'm not a dirty girl. That's just how I have always felt around that crowd..

I usually do better with customers 35 and over than I do with the guys in their 20's. Guys in their early 20's rarely come into clubs alone. They usually come into clubs in groups of 3 or more. In my experience, they tip at the stage but rarely buy dances. If they do buy dances, it's usually one dance. I don't have a problem with the younger guys. I just approach the older guys before I approach them because I've always had better luck making money off of older guys.

i voted for 36-55 it is who i do best with. however i do get guys under 30 quite often. i never get grandpop, when they get that old they want the youngest dancer they can find (1 and i'm past that sooooo. it makes me laugh that they go as young as possible when they are that old.

    I also picked 36-55

I avoid younger guys b/c they think I'll date them, I have had some good over 55 customers too though

For the record, this thirty-something in a business suit doesn't think there's anything wrong with being a dirty girl--my favorite kind, in fact.

    Two cents.

As one of those "types of guys" (early 30s, dresses business-like or business-casual in the club), I don't believe you have anything to prove about yourself. We're both in the club, so why would I be in any position to judge you? (I also figure that you're either in school or have a family and a dog...you have to pay for them somehow.) I presume you *are* a good girl, unless I don't want you to be us:

I understand that this is a thread about "preferences", and I know you know it wouldn't be a good business practice to be exclusive to one type or age group of customer. If dancers hadn't taken a chance on me when I was a young & broke college student, I wouldn't still be enjoying entertainers such as yourselves now that I can afford to play without giving up the rent money.

I prefer the newly retired men. They are the most interesting to talk to and ask for the least contact . Often they're a bit stir crazy from going from the busy working world to retired and often have time to kill and don't want to be at home. They just seem to enjoy their time the most to me

    Older men all the way!

I attract young guys lately it seems....don't know why, alot of places i go. Most guys still pay out very well 36 and older. I love men period. But the younger they are in clubs, the less they spend. They always want a friggin DATE.

Paige-being a good dancer is an artform. You meet a lot of men but only 2 % are any good. i think thats true old or young. You guys tell me? If you present a "real front" you will do well with all.

Although as Emily mentioned, I dont MIND any type of customer, I do get more men who are between 35-55. I look young, so they like that look, but I also enjoy them because they are more mature and respectful. I usually dont do well with the young kids, and this is one of the few reasons why I do not work weekends at a certain club.

As an older customer, I've noticed that a lot of the ladies prefer my type or are at least comfortable with it. In fact that's probablly the main reason I go to SCs, because I can usually meet an attractive young woman who is comfortable spending time with an older man, probably because she's had a lot of experience doing it. If I go to a regular bar and try talking to an atractive young woman she's usually going to be uncomfortable about it. SCs are often very comfortable places for an older man who is by himself, especially during the day when the place isn't very crowded.

i like taking candy from babies, so to speak. older guys are mostly after mistress/gf/extras where i work, but younger guys can be persuaded to give up the dream of dating me for a few dances. they also, in my experience, are easy sells for lower contact dances. it's really refreshing the way they'll just sit back and let me dance and not get all grabby. go figure. so i like 18-25 year olds presently.

Thats funny how it all varies. I usually get the young kids who wanna touch everything under the sun. Its so annoying and the older men are more respectful. BUT I have had plenty of cases where the opposite happened as well. (Young kids who were super nervous, hands at side and the older man who cant stop pawing) hehe
