Default L'Oreal Sublime Bronze self tanner

I couldn't find the thread where a couple of you ladies recommended this. Anyway, I wwas out shopping and saw it and decided to try it....I LOVE IT!

It's the best tanner I've ever used!!!

It goes on so evenly, nice shimmer, doesn't have a scent and leaves a good color.

Thanks guys....now I don't have to be a slave to the $27/bottle Lancome tanner, which WAS my favorite

Ya, I like it too, it's my new fav. I use the fast-dry gel in dark, but there are three formulations with different selling points, like 'streak-free' and such.

I use it myself. I had the medium-deep Instant Bronze glow stuff. Then I tried the gel version. I personally like the gel better but the tintyed bronze give you a glow right away which I liked. Ive stopped using both unfortunately because its such a pain to apply every other day. I would just rather have a real tan but I still use it every now and then - GOOD STUFF!

em- i am sure you know this but loreal and lancome are owned by the same company.

alot of the products each line has is very similar.

I love lancome, but for that same reason i also like loreal products.

yeah, I did know that, which is why I decided to give this a chance....but, I do think that Lancome is superior for a few things....like their definicils mascara and juicy tubes

I really do like the Lancome tanner better than anything else I had tried up the the Loreal, but this is just as good and way less money.

Well, probably one of the reasons you like L'Oreal is because Lancome makes those products. Every "high maintenance" make-up company has a "low-maintenance" sister. So, chances are, if you like something by Lancome, you'll like L'Oreal.

I do agree, though, I have the Sublime and have been using it for quite a while now.

Thanks for the update!! I saw this, but I still have 2 bottles of other brands. I was wondering about this one, tho. Speakin of mascara, there's a brand I dyin' to try, I have Many tubes of other brands to go thru first. It's called blinc. (blincinc.com). It's water-resistant, you can easily rub it off. It's like 15$. By the way, someone once posted a site where beauty products are rated?

It wears off in about a week. I love the color...it gets very close to my natural bronze. Besides, it has color in it...so, chances of you screwing up is very slim. It washes off the hands well...none of the "fake tan hands" look.

    I highly reccomend it!!!

I used L'oreal sublime dark gele... I tan outside and at the tanning salon too. Honestly I couldnot tell that much difference it just gave me more of a golden color, but then again I hate self tanners.

I may have many faults, but being wrong ain't one of them.

The Maybeline one is just as good! I love them both. But stock up now if you know you'll want it come wintertime. They're SEASONAL.

I think that's the lightest since that's what I found. I think you should try it out anyway.

Mz T, I'm pretty dam light, & I've used dark & med/dark. Not in that brand, yet, but in Coppertone, & others. I find the light & even some med. just don't give me enough color. Can you try maybe a tester to see color? (I don't know if they have testers for this prod. but?)

I got a store flyer in the mail friday and it's either Rite Aid, Longs or Sav On (so sorry I don't remember but my damn b/f threw them in the trash! ) Anyhow one of those stores is offering BUY ONE GET ONE FREE for the L'oreal sublime bronzer. I think it was Sav On.

It's Longs. I stopped by Longs on the way to work and picked up the gel as well as the one with bronzer. I haven't tried this product yet but after reading you guy's rave on...I had to. I got 2 bottles at Longs for $9 and change. If I really like it I may go back and get more. Might as well stock up while it's on sale!

I found the light one...but it's not a gel. I'm terrified to use it. I wonder if I screw up real bad if Mystic tan will cover up my mistakes?

Most of the self-tanners have a "foul proof" darkening cream in them. They add color immediately that you can see. Just try it. Even in the dark clubs, it's hard to see any mistakes.

one of the things I like about this tanner is that it applies so evenly....it's hard to mess up.

Just remember to not apply it to your hands and feet (unless you are more experienced and kow how to get this to look right) and use gloves when applying. Also use a baby wipe at the end to wipe your elbows, knees, and forearms. I also like to clean out my belly button and butt crack because it always seems to get too dark in those places! Don't want a butt crack that's too dark now.

I also use deodorant in my armpits right after I tan to lighten the color in there, which would naturally be lighter.

Oh, and use a tanner specifically designed for faces on your face.

seriously, you can't screw up this tanner. I've never used a self tanner on my entire body till now. (Have done legs previously using a different product and had a streaky effect) I've got NO STREAKS at all! Although, I forgot to apply it to the very back of my heels and it does look like some strange skin ailment. Will apply some more in a bit to even it out. I used it 2 nights in a row there is a nice golden effect. Actually, I used it 3 nights in a row including my face (did my face first to see the effect) whoa. My face is a bit darker than I would have preferred. I don't have gloves so I used sandwich baggies instead. Worked fine for me.

Speaking of dark butt cracks. When I was mystic tanning wearing my thong, I noticed the area right outside the white thong line was darker than my "tan." yikes. didn't look too pretty.
