Default Over or Under?

The muscle that is, in regards to B.A.'s.

I've heard pros and cons about both. I'm getting mine done in six weeks and I have to decide soon on which way. I've seen both but it seems that ones that are under look "hard" after they drop.

Then I was told that if you go over the muscle that it is very hard to see anything during a mammogram.

Those of you who have them, which way did you go, why and what looks most natural?

BTW, I'm only going up one cup size and want them perky again like they used to be.

I had mine over the muscle because I had alot of extra skin from losing weight. I needed a lift, but putting a large implant over the muscle created the same effect for me. I also was able to qualify for silicone, so the look and feel really natural. I love them! Best 5 grand I ever spent.

I had hardly any breast tissue to begin with and I went over the muscle but under the fascia....I love them. They are really squishy, the shake and bounce....best three grand ever.

I had some saggy breast tissue to work with. Mine are teardrop unders. The teardrop shape provides more projection than a standard round and gives a mini lift effect for mild ptosis. If there is too much sag, going under without a lift could very well give the "snoopy" effect. Mine aren't hard. I wish you could squeeze them.

I have researched it and if I did get a BA, I would have to go over the muscle. I went from a 36c before kids, to anywhere from a 36d to a 36ee(after my last). So for me under the muscle is not an option. Plus I do work out, and I just wouldn't want my muscle tissue damaged lke that. It takes long enough for an over the muscle BA to heal, much less adding the extra heal time for an under. I wouldn't want to wait that long to get back on the weights. But I have found that it's mostly just a preference thing.

Being a dancer, over the muscle was the way for me. I had a lot of movement and contortion of the implant when they were under the muscle. You'd be surprised at how much you use your pecs, just spinning around the pole you use them. I think they bounce and move more naturally over the muscle, also.

Keep in mind, not everyone has this problem with movement, or at least not everyone has this problem to the degree that I had it.
