The best thing i have found so far is Brown Sugar Body Scrub by Avon, while I'm in the shower then use Avon's African Shea Butter, Whipped Body Balm. They are both from the Planet Spa line that Avon has. I only use the Body Scrub once a week, every other day I use either Dove body wash or Johnson's & Johnson's baby bath(yes the yellow bottle with the pink body wash in it)
I figure if it's good for a baby's skin, it can't be that bad for mine. I try to use the body balm every day, but I forget sometimes. But it is the best stuff I have used so far, and you only need a very little, it goes a long way. It also has a great smell.

I use plain old cocoa butter! By the way dont ever get a lotion that is petroleum based - EVER! Petroleum based lotions DO NOT moisterize! Anything petroleum bases will NOT be absorbed by the skin hence not moisterizing. For those of you who use Chap Stick (the brand)... it is petroleum based meaning it will not moisterize your lips.
When it comes to moisterizers I love to get things that are just plain old lotion. If it has all these ingredients that I dont understand then I aint buyin it! Cocoa butter is cocoa butter - no arguments there. Besides if I cant eat it... I dont want it on my skin period. Facial creams... if it stings my eyes - I dont want it on my face.
You think you know... but you have no idea!

My ex used to use shea butter in the winter cause it was even thicker![]()
Whatever you use...make sure you do not use anything within a few hours of starting work dancing (and don't ever use OILY products the day of work). The girls who do pole tricks will want to string you up by your nipples and you can also leave slick spots on the stage during floor work.
A new girl used a body shimmer lotion just before she started work...was up on stage just before my set and slicked up the pole...and even though the pole was wiped down...oil does not come off that easily. I was doing a one arm spin and almost wiped out. Not good.

Thanks you guys so much! I actually order from Avon from the Mark collections so I must look into the ones you suggested thanks agian!

i found something pretty interesting today .. and cheap
i was at the mall and one of the stands had a guy selling Dead Sea salt things..
he dragged me over to show me his stuff.. i purposely showed him the 14 dollar bills i had on me and told him i dont use checks or cc only cash so... show me if you want but im not buying anything
well...
this is what he did.. spray bottle of water and a big bowl he sprayed my hands
then poured this ground dead sea salt into my hands and i rubbed and rubbed while he blabbed about the dead sea magic
then sprayed water on my hands as i rinsed them off.. at the bottom of the bowl the water/salt stuff was GRAY .. all dead skin that came off my pretty clean hands..
they felt really good soft and not dry yet incredibly clean and the little cuticle gunk i had was gone..
well .. when i got home i got out some Sea salt that i bought for 1.34 at the grocery (Haines brand)
and layed down a towel .. sprayed each foot and rubbed salt in then sprayed again.. to rinse
then dried off .. the same effect as i had at the mall!
i was just polished.. the skin around my toes was pink
ive tried salt/sugar in my shower mixed with soap ..but i think doing it this way with just a spray bottle and doing each body part at a time is really a great way to truly polish
once your body is polished like this.. any good moisterizer would work

Sea salt works for me too. I don't mix it with soap, just about a drop of almond oil (olive works too, but almond is much lighter) and do a dry rub before I shower twice a week. Make sure you rub nice and hard to get all the dead skin cells.
I used to use Philosophy Gingerbread Man, but ran out and haven't reordered from Sephora yet. I've found my concoction works just as well.
Because there ain't no tits on the radio
I use Avon, I got it for free because my mom used to sell it.
