Personally, having rhythm is more important than knowing pole tricks. Having rhythm and knowing how to move your body will sell over a dancer with pole tricks.

In my personal opinion, have a couple of pole tricks (I personally only have 3 or 4) that you can use and are effective but don't put alot of stock into the pole.

In the end, it isn't how much or little you use the pole - it is if you can dance, exude the right aura/energy, have eye contact that will sell.

Strippers put WAY too much stock into the pole tricks. Knowing them is only good for competitions.

I never did any pole tricks ( i was way too tall for the stage anyway) and i didnt see it negatively affect my money. I made up for lack of pole skills by smiling , standing tall, walking slow and sexy and doing creative floor work. ( i found that my long legs were the main focus of my best customers anyways)
Few people understand the psychology of dealing with a highway traffic cop. Your normal speeder will panic and immediately pull over to the side. This is wrong. It arouses contempt in the cop-heart. Make the bastard chase you. He will follow. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

Crazy pole tricks do get attention but a full set of pole tricks gets old...

I may have many faults, but being wrong ain't one of them.

I like tricks, pole or otherwise. My favorite is when my ATF picks up a stage tip with her ass. It takes concentration and coordination to do it but the audience loves it. The pole seems best for swinging around looking saucy.

LOL! Thank you SirCharls. It's not me though, but I'm gonna change it to me at some point.

And look who's talking, you've got a pretty cheeky avatar yourself! Nice handful! lol!

Fifteen years and I never learned pole tricks. Rarely used it.

Confidence, smile and eye contact always worked best for me.

I though the pole is to hold you gals after you get all these free beers from the customers.......

I prefer the high gold guardrails at the edge of the stage where the girls can lean and rest their legs and body so you can see heaven.......
