LMAO Sitri thanks for the Dave Barry quote. That was some funny stuff.

In looking at the cartoon blurb under the article, Im wondering if a secret code also embedded in the Declaration of Independence will stimulate a thrilling sequel

I just bought the book a few days ago. I've heard so much about it. It sounds so intriguing.

I just had to say.. it's really nice to come on here and talk to intelligent woman in the same business as I. I tried talking to most of the girls at my work about a book, or the election they would like at me like I was from outer space.

I hear you on that, Nicoleanna. With all due modesty, I think it's fair to say that girls who frequent this BBS certainly appear to represent an "above average" group of exotic dancers. I agree that when discussing certain subjects, i.e. conspiracy theories or politics or economics, that fact constitutes a major plus.

However this can become a 'two edged sword' when discussing other subjects, such as earnings potential or club management or more 'sordid' subjects such as 'extras' and club busts, because the fact that this BBS is frequented by "above average" dancers who typically work in "above average" clubs tends to give an impression of the exotic dancing industry in general which is definitely skewed towards the high side.

Hey Sitri - just wondering if you got a chance to start on "The Earth Will Shake" by Robert Anton Wilson yet ? IMHO this book, and its two sequels, are a much more 'plausible' treatment of the same subject matter than "The DaVinci Code" or "Holy Blood, Holy Grail" as well as providing a much more exciting story line.

PS I did take your suggestion, and am awed by the facts surrounding the Mandan tribe !

I have heard about the book and have read Holy Blood Holy Grail. I've been contemplating reading the DaVinci Code but am not sure yet. I always wanted to be a Mason growing up as a girl (I've always been an extremely odd child) and I remember how disapointed I was that I couldn't since I'm a girl :'(. Oh well, at least I get to be a stripper instead .

Well, there are certain 'organizations' which closely parallel Masonic principles and beliefs which are open to or even dominated by women *wink*. Actually, the third book in the Robert Anton Wilson series, 'Nature's God", goes into this matter in a good bit of detail !
