Default Feature Schools?

Last night at work I was talking to a girl about a feature dancer school in Texas - sunset something...... ??? Anyway - I've never heard of a feature school - have any of you? Has anyone actually been to one of these? I've heard of stripping lessons - is this the samething? I went to the website of the one that the girl was talking about and it didn't mention how much it cost but it did say that upon completion you'll get job placement through their agency!
I want to know if the money in this is better than just dancing at the same club... let me know your thoughts girls....

hope everyone is have a great day!

Feature school is where "house girls" go to learn how to dance without dancing. LOL j/k to all the features out there. They have a ton of them in Wisconsin. Basically you go there learn how they want you to dance and appear then after graduation, they book you for a tuor around the country or world. You get paid by the clubs you go to a flat fee for you apperance. You will generally do 3 or 4 shows a night consisting of around a 30 min set (help me out here girls if my numbers are wrong). You spent the rest of the time at that club doing promo work for the club and yourself ie, selling Polaroids, your posters, videos, DVD's, and 8x11's. Some features do lLD's most I know of don't. Jenna Jamason was a feature once upon a time. Starting fetures make around 750-1000 for a weeks apperance along with stage money and selling of merchandise. Well known features make upwards of 3k and apperance or more. Plus tips and selling stuff. But along with all this is the cost of travel, hotel stays, promo pics and t-shirts, DVD's, Polaroids ect... Not to even mention the cost of elaborate costuming, and set routines. (I was going to say corerographed(sp), but I can't spell it very well). You might also have to appear early in towns where you are booked to get a license or learn the laws really quickly.
As for the money, I know a few features that bank out the butt, 250k+ per year, but it's all up to the girl personally. I would have loved to be a feature(I love to travel) but I can't now due to the fact I have youngins'.
Hope this answered a few of your questions.

There is a feature school here in my area. They used my old club for their classes several times and I heard and saw parts of their course. I thought for the money they were charging it was mostly a waste, especially for an experienced house dancer. They charged nearly a grand for a day and half course and it wasn't worth more than $250 IMHO
